Club seem to be hinting that Billy Mckay will be signing an contract extension.

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
So one guy (Ofere) from the last decade based on a very small sample size of around 10 games? Not exactly much to write home about. Certainly doesn't give me any confidence that we can pick up a goal scorer late in the day especially with the paltry wages we are likely offering these days.

Like who exactly? Billy Mckay is our most prolific goal scorer in recent memory and no one has scored more than he did last season than since, erm, Bill Mckay in 2013/14. Jordan White was close in 2017/18 (IIRC) but apart from that we have lacked an out and out goalscorer for the best part of a decade.

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
He's not been mentioned at all recently either in terms of players who have been released or players who were offered new deals. Apparently an Ayr fan has said he was serving ice creams at a local fun day down that neck of the woods. Probably a good indicator of where he's at right now.

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
These guys haven't left Partick Thistle to hang around in the Championship for another season (unless it's to sign for a big player which we certainly aren't). Turner is more of an 8 than Allardice anyway. Docherty would have been a good replacement but he also left Thistle and has signed for United.

I do agree with a lot of this but sometimes you have players who are more valuable to the team than any final transfer fee we might get for them. Could we realistically have afforded to lose Allardice last season for the sake of a few thousand pounds? For all the criticism he got from others (including myself) I fully agreed with Yogi's ambitions of trying to at least make sure the club got money when they lost players like Shinnie, Watkins etc. easier said than done of course though.

We're not going to be able to afford the development fee they'll be due for him.

2023/24 Season Tickets
League Cup group games haven't been included but normally have lower ticket prices. The game against Cove last summer was £10 for adults.

Pretty sure he is under contract until 2024.

Fans might be a bit more sympathetic to the club if it had done anything but erode trust between the two groups over the last few years.

Scott Burns in the record. However, to correct what I've said it's reduced terms his been offered. So wages could be fine but contract length might be an issue.- ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
Offering Mckay reduced wages to sign a new deal- ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
What the hell are we thinking here releasing players by email?- Scottish League Cup 2023-24 - Draw
To be honest I don't know but there did seem to be a pattern where the second seed played the first seed away in the last match of the round of fixtures but that didn't happen last season IIRC although we did play Livi away it wasn't the last match of the group. I wouldn't be surprised to see Dundee being one of the away games and knowing our luck it will probably be Airdrie away as well...- Scottish League Cup 2023-24 - Draw
Bonnyrigg away please.- Signings
Paton at QotS has been banging the goals in but there may be a stumbling block over a development fee given we are unlikely to be shelling out any cash for players. Also rumoured to be heading to Livi or England so we won't be able to complete there if those rumours are true.- Poll - Dodds contract extension
First point - does he though? We've gone through two or three seasons now with no "proper" right back. Carson has filled in admirably but many would argue that we still lack a dedicated RB. Equally, our lack of striking options for a good chunk of this season arguably falls at Dodds' door as well. Offloading Oakley and not bringing someone in to help Mckay was a bizarre move. It left us very light at a crucial time in the season. Second point - we've spent just as long in the top tier as we have done in the second. The SPL/Premiership has, until recently, been our level. If teams like Livingston and Saint Johnstone can remain in the top flight there is nothing to suggest that we couldn't do that and we should be aspiring to that level. Of course, there are plenty of other teams who will think like that but I completely disagree with the notion that the Championship is our level. It might be for a while but historically it has not been. I do agree however that to stay in the top flight we would really need a generous backer. It's becoming clear that trying to maintain full time football in Scotland outwith the top flight is becoming notoriously difficult. The losses sustained by Falkirk and others show that. Even MacGregor at Ross County seems to be talking about winding in the spending but I suspect they will keep writing blank cheques to offset their losses. And yes I am aware that we also have been bleeding cash- ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
There's a few online sites saying Shaw is contracted until 2024. Can't see anything from the in confirming the length of the deal when his signing was announced. I thought he was on a 2 year deal as well but looks like that could be wrong.- Poll - Dodds contract extension
Two year deal for Dodds announced.- ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
And Dundee, Livingston and Saint Johnstone ETA: Just seen the Killie tweet. Apologies. - ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
