Utter rubbish. Even before that incident Ghana were at it with their play acting and diving. Uruguay should also have had a penalty during the course of ET for a cynical trip by a Ghanian defender. They were just as bad if not worse for cheating than Uruguay. Even after the handball by Suarez Ghana still had a chance to score and bottled it. Any other player would have done what Suarez did.

England might have struggled to beat Slovenia but we got utterly battered by Norway despite our supposed great team spirit and Norway are ranked below Slovenia in the FIFA rankings (which aren't always a good measure of a team but across Europe they seem fair enough). Team spirit will only get you so far and it counts for bugger all when the majority of your team is puff. ICT have a great team spirit as well as some average to excellent players which helps no end where team spirit isn't enough. I think you're getting the England national team confused with the English media.

Aside from the period just after the Upson goal England were atrocious. The back line looked like they were comprised of strangers from the street. Terry and Upson were left bemused by the movement of Klose and in the second half the entire England team was carved apart with two stunning counter attacks. England were lucky that Germany eased off at 4 - 1 otherwise they could have had another one or two. Yes that Lampard shot was over the line but Germany would have won in the end easily. England aren't good enough. Great individuals but awful as a team.
