It's a nice thought but he doesn't owe us anything really. We are only offering him a 1 year deal. Dundee can offer him more money (Hart and Higgins are rumoured to be on ?1,600 a week) and a longer deal. They also look set to sign one of Particks best players in Hawkins and are tabling bids for Griffiths of Livi. They will be the team to beat next season and I don't see anyone being able to do it. This new chairman of theirs is providing some serious financial backing for Jocky Scott.

What is maybe not ridiculous but slightly odd is that the form for paying by DD is also not available on the ICT site either. Unless I am missing it which is quite possible but the forms for download on the ICT site simply say "complete the attached form if paying by DD" and said form is nowhere to be found...

The only money troubles Falkirk might be in are due to Hughes spunking his transfer budget and then some last season. Pressley would be an awful appointment. He would be cheap though. Maybe ideal for Falkirk.

A friend of mine used to work there. As most will know before Setanta games they will try and push their subscription to folk maybe watching it in a pub by showing a message that says "Subscribe no by calling.....". The number of calls my pal took from folk who already had Setanta but phoned to ask if they had to subscribe again to watch the game was unreal. Mainly thick Old Filth fans who thought they had to activate something to be able to watch their team play.

How does Italy "suck for trophies"? Admittedly it's certainly not as strong as it used to be. No arguments there. One good thing for Milan with this move is that it means they cancel their losses for the year and it allows them to rebuff bids for players like Pato and Pirlo who are probably the only other players that anyone would be interested in signing from the Milan team. I liked how Galliani talked about Seedorf being another but, for me, he is one of the worst best footballers going. Madrids line up for next season (attacking wise) looks like something out of a Football Manager game: Raul Higuain Kaka Sneijder Lassa Robben I hope they would play Kaka through the middle but not 100% sure how they could do this. Even with that line up you have players like Diarra, Van der Vaart and Guti sitting on the sidelines. If you want to you could include Drenthe but I wuldn't warrant him worthy if being mentioned in the same breath as someone like Guti. I wonder how Barcelona will react to this signing? Rumours persist of Eto'o leaving Camp Nou and if he does go I would imagine the one thing they could do to replace and perhaps better him would be take Villa off Valencies hands.

Well both are good at signing players up on ridiculous wages and getting next to nothing from them (J.J. and O'Brien for example). Mixu did no worse than Collins really but his signings were questionable and his tactics baffling. I went along to Aberdeen v Hibs on the final day of the season and Hibs played with no midfield and punted long balls to Fletcher and Riordan all day. They were utterly dreadful and should have been 4 down before Riordan got them back into it. Even then they offered sod all after the break. Hibs are a horrible team. My Hibs supporting pal actually found himself wanting to lose as it meant that there was an increased chance of Mixu leaving. Hughes might have Hibs playing nice football but he won't do any better there than Mixu. In fact I would imagine he will do significantly worse. He has a ridiculously over inflated opinion of himself and speaks the biggest amount of bollocks of any of the SPL managers.

For who? For Kaka it might be a good move, better chance of winning trophies than in Italy. Milan will get a lot of money from the transfer to perform the overhaul of the team they so desperately need. Madrid will get an excellent player although the money is ridiculous.
