Are you? No. Then his opinion isn't any less valid than anything you might say about Brewster.

Here is an exclusive picture of next seasons ICT top:
  3. Are being deliberately obtuse? The poster in question might not have been able to phone the stadium to get a ticket. Why did they phone you? Ah yes, because you were on here moaning about not being able to get a ticket as well before Saturdays game and thinking that no one would answer your email so that would be why the club phoned you I would imagine :003:
  4. We ended up offering him a deal that some 1st division clubs and a number of SPL teams could easily better. Our offer in the end was a joke.

Unfortunately it's a risk they take with their jobs.
  6. Dargo and when we offered "the best deal any club outside the Old Firm could offer" for his services.

I thought Imrie did well today. MotM for me and no doubt many others. Some strong and direct running. Never saw MacPherson but did see Hastings give Bayne a bollocking at the end after the penalty scare when Bayne turned the ball behind, needlessly in Hastings view I guess, for a corner. That was hilarious! He sent it flying into the gravel! The poor guy got up looking for an apology but Roy just jogged away! :015:

I am more referring to the horrible ball from Tokely that played Dargo in and the bizarre back pass from Ian Black that nearly set up a Saints winner :004: We took some big risks with some of our play today. If we weren't up against the most toothless team ever than we would have been punished.

In fairness given our shambolic passing today maybe long ball was the better option!
  10. Did you notice he went off the boil as he was moved into the "hole" behind the forward(s) and has been better on the right hand side of play? Maybe it's just me I don't know! :015:
  11. The 3 - 4 loss to Aberdeen was horrendous and still a bitter pill to swallow even now.
  12. Maybe like you the poster wasn't able to get down to the stadium until now?
  13. I'll ask you again Marty - you think he can "easily" be replaced. Who with? Good luck in Paisley Dennis. You aren't the first ICT player to go there after being dicked about over a new deal.
  14. I read that Rangers fans also managed to get Manchester Piccadily closed as well through fighting, assaulting staff, walking on the tracks and pulling drivers out of trains. Good show lads!
  15. With Rangers scarves tied round them and belting out their version of The Sash.
  16. Hilarious stuff coming from Bain and Rangers - "a small minority not associated with Rangers" were apparently the cause of the trouble - pathetic cop out. They know full well that it was their fans who were causing the trouble. Fans who assaulted other people including policemen, attempted to murder a Zeith fan, were drunk and disorderly, looted stores and broke into cars. The videos circulating through the press are horrifying. Manchester resembled a war zone and the scenes of skirmishes with police were more reminiscent of something you might see in the Middle East. Former Rangers managers would've come out and criticised the fans but Smith won't do that and risk alienating himself from "Ra People". The silence from Gordon Smith is deafening while UEFA are seemingly unlikely to react to this. The way this is going this will all be forgotten by the Champions league final next week and it's sad that a disgusting organisation such as Rangers is likely to get away without any kind of punishment whatsoever. Even more depressing is that recent events have certainly curtailed any chance of the Old Filth f'cking off to England as they will have no chance of getting in there now so we are going to be stuck with them and their rioting scum bag fans. Joy(!)
  17. We've got Barry, Barry, Barry, Barry Wilson on our wing, on our wing, We've got Barry, Barry, Barry, Barry Wilson on our wing, on our wing, Barry! Oh Barry Wilson! Oh Barry Wilson on our wiiiiiiing! Barry! Oh Barry Wilson! Oh Barry Wilson on our wiiiiiiing!
  18. That video in the top left is awful viewing particularly when 40 - 50 Rangers fans jump on the policeman on the ground. What cretinus individuals they are. A lifetime ban for every Rangers fan they can possibly identify from the CCTV images. Hopefully, like Feyenoord, they will be booted out of Europe albeit next season in the case of Rangers. I am staggered that Rangers are still yet to comment on any of these scenes.
  19. I doubt it was a minority. A minority were arrested that's a definite. The police were never going to be able to take on the thousands that were more than likely engaging in behaviour that would, on a typical Saturday out, see you thrown in the cells for the night. Can you imagine the likely outcome if all the fans who were behaving like your Saturday night drunken louts were arrested? There would have been serious trouble then if the police decided to wade in. You can easily get away with much more in a large group than you could if you were on your own. What do you think it took these 20 odd fans to be arrested out of a crowd of 100,000 plus? Must have been something pretty serious. And the second part of of your second sentence is exactly why I wouldn't dream of supporting them in Europe. I am simply embarrassed to be associated with Rangers due to supporting a team in the same league as them. Delighted they got beaten in the final but saddened that, in true Rangers style, they decided to go on a rampage.
  20. I think that should be taken as a good sign - hopefully we have learned not to conduct our business in the press and are working hard behind the scenes trying to sound out possible targets for next season. Sure we would all like to know who we are saying but Brewster can't, or rather shouldn't, name his pursuits (like he has done with Barrowman) as that is disrespectful to the players team. A simple "We are looking at bring in a defender/winger/forward" would do fine for me. At least we know they are actively doing something without falling foul of other teams. Agree with this. I was surprised how late some negotiations started and how protracted they were. I know these things don't happen over night but you look back at some of the other players who have had prolonged "discussions" with the club over new deals and sometimes I wonder how well we handle ourselves in these situations.

  22. Any time Rangers fans have rioted in the past in Europe it has been due to the foreign police. They can't use that excuse this time round. It will be interesting to see the behaviour of Man Utd v Chelsea fans next Wednesday (with foreign police of course!) and see all goes off peacefully or not.
  23. Only if the players are good enough. Some managers, like Fatty Calderwood, buy players for fun. I seem to recall in 5 odd seasons he had signed close to 60 players when he was Dunfermline manager and near 50 had been moved on. He signed 2 of the 3 Paatelinean (sp.) brothers at one point then punted them at the end of the season! We have players (potentially) leaving yes but we can't just buy any old mince to replace them e.g. Derek Young. Obviously we want to know who we were looking at but we have a good couple of months to get things tied up yet.
