  1. I know this is mentioned in another thread but it makes sense to have it here: *Trio can win new deals* No mention of Xander.....

I am unsure. This season I have barely attended an Away game due to cost and I have no interest in the last few games in Inverness now we have gone past the split. I am not going to spend most of my Saturday travelling back for what is essentially a friendly. I did the same last year and had a far better time at the likes of Inverurie than I had done at ICT pretty much all season! Simply put, watching ICT is now overly expensive and is no longer fun like it used to be.
  3. You're not in the least bit concerned that there is no rush to sign any of the players on a new deal?
  4. Good one Malky! That brought tears to my eyes!

I've heard rumours that Mileson wants back in at Gretna and is looking at signing up a few of those guys to beef up his midfield.
  6. *P & J Article* All four still waiting on new deals. I believe that at least 2 of those players have been offered deals at other clubs so if we do want to keep them I am suprised that we are dragging our heels so much.

You lost me with Callum Elliot :003:

Not that good this season obviously but look at his record the previous season (if caleyboyz stats are correct) and it makes good reading. it would, if my maths is correct, make 15 goals in 40 which is probably better than any of our current crop of strikers. He features a lot from the bench and has had a fair few injuries this season (apparently).

How many goals has Rory gotten in the last 3 years?

:017: What about buying rejetcs not good enough for Saint Johnstone (Dods) or indeed Aberdeen in the past like Duncan? They've done well for us. I don't think it's that bad at all. Given that a lot of those are appearences off the bench I think a return of about 10 goals per season is pretty **** good for someone playing in the middle of the league team. It's better than any of our strikers this season and perhaps better than any of them over the last two seasons. Dargo had a fantastic run for us but who else at ICT has a similar scoring record.

I think if we could afford Lovell we may as well make a move. I reckon he would do well for us. As for Nicholson I do seem to mind he was being offered/was wanting something daft from Aberdeen so you might be too far off with the ?7k figure.

I always thought he was on less than Miller was getting which was between ?3k - ?4k a week.

Out of the 8 players I mention only Nicholson, Miller and Lovell would be good additions to the squad and we can't afford two of them. We might not even be able to afford Lovell but if you were to say which one of the players released offers the most realistic target for ICT in terms of the likelihood of him coming and ourselves being able to afford him I would say it would be Lovell. Definitely but he would likely command a heftier wage and is it worth it for a back up to Fraser who is better than both?

Please tell me you are joking? The six players leaving are Derek Soutar, Greg Kelly, Richie Byrne, Dave Bus, Jonathan Smith and Steve Lovell. Barry Nicholson has turned down a new deal and Lee Miller might not be offered a new one. Of the six who are leaving without being offered a new contract I would take Richie Byrne Steve Lovell. I think he could be a smashing signing for us. Miller and Nicholson are obviously out of our reach. The rest are garbage.
  16. I think there might be a case for a "WHOOSH!" here. Oh, and some paragraphs :004:

Mon the Queens! 4 - 3 just now. 5 goals in something like 13 minutes - crazy! 4 minutes left - come on the Doonhammers!

Reporting Scotland had a preview on the game last night and during the clip a lovely Rangers fan gave the camera a Nazi/Red Hand of Ulster salute.

Baltacha will run the Centenary Club. I had thought as well given the fact I was getting muddled up with the avatars all being the same.
