The P & J piece is interesting but it's not much of a surprise really. A lot of that stuff was uncovered by fans within a couple of hours of this LinkedIn clown appearing from nowhere. Still, it shows what a shambles Gardiner has made of things that he was wowed by such an obvious fraud. Speaks volumes of his tenure at the club and, as mentioned in another post, leaves what's left of his reputation in ruins.

It would appear to be the case that, although Morrison was Chairman, Gardiner ran the club in his absence. What he (Gardiner) did during this time only he will know but given the mess that Savage has uncovered it will certainly give rise to theories that he wasn't, how shall I put this diplomatically, focused on doing what was best for the club.

As I said on Twitter I really enjoyed reading that. It's going to be so, so strange heading to an ICT away match and not seeing / hearing Johndo
-
What has Savage found that the board didn't know about? Was financial information being kept from them?

Ferguson is a large part of the reason we are in this mess. From his dull as dishwater style of football, his awful signings, allowing better players to leave, freezing out others who were miles better than the dross he continued to select, seeing us relegated to his cannot be bothered to be here attitude and so on. He deserves to be emptied and sent off down the road so he can promote his Everton book without wasting our time.

I am staggered that we agreed to give someone £20,000 to borrow Alex Samuel for a few months.
-
Yeah fair point that the fans saw through his mince quickly. Same definitely couldn't be said for many at the club and some of the local press who were quick to let him spout nothings about his plans without any pushback.
-
This guy is an absolute fantasist. How has it taken so long for folk to see through him?
-
Stunned to see the obvious fraud is in fact an obvious fraud.
-
Yeah I was expecting some absolute howler for the penalty decision but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Maybe a little soft but it looks like Devine has a fistful of the Annan players shirt as they fall to the ground.

Another Ferguson masterclass. Our worst ever manager without a doubt. Just f'ck off you useless pudding.

Given how rank rotten ICT are these days it makes sense that CTO turns into a plane spotters website.

I don't have it in for you it was merely a light hearted joke

The IC aren't going to rock the boat by asking any probing questions especially when they are getting all these "exclusives".

Caley Tennis meets Ketan Makwana.

Not now no but there was a certain Mark Ridgers who was available but the club decided not to bother speaking to put of contract players. When queried about Ridgers specifically the club then lied and said they'd been in discussions with his agent. And it definitely wasn't an issue of rating Ridgers there were other (petty) issues for not renewing his deal from the club.

So much for accommodation costs being an issue for signing players.

There's a section on us around 10:45. More red flags than a Ferrari F1 victory is the phrase used to describe this proposed takeover. Sigh...

These interviews are just a collection of business buzzwords that mean utterly nothing.

Amazing this guy has read all the criticism online and his reply is "trust me, I'm brilliant at liquidating assets"

A read through the new manager thread from last year would suggest that very few fans wanted Ferguson in. He appeared from almost nowhere to take the job with the majority of the support sceptical and worried about his appointment. Equally it would seem most of the fans wanted Dodds gone as we were absolutely honking under him for the first few months of the campaign before he was binned. I would say there wasn't much evidence to suggest he could have steered us away from relegation given how things were going under his leadership. Given what has been said about Fergusons pay packet any concerns about the clubs finances didn't appear to apply to him and certainly don't appear to have been a factor in the recruitment process.
-
I'll celebrate Ferguson leaving as much as I did winning the Scottish Cup and the old First Division. A previous Chairmans decision not to sack a woefully out of his depth manager cost us our place in the Premiership. The current decision to stick with this guy (and even appoint him in the first place) might cost us our club.

I don't think the Courier have done any digging. That just looks like they've regurgitated a post from his LinkedIn profile.
