There are no words. Just absolutely shocked by this news. I knew he had had a bad turn a few weeks back but nothing other than a full recovery was expected. Awful, awful news. Thoughts are very much with his family and friends right now
-
Excellent. I look forward to Scott Gardiner being turfed out of the ground given his actions have caused so many fans to become annoyed

How can he not understand why the fans are unhappy and refusing to go to games? Is he being deliberately thick or is he actually an idiot?
-
Fairly sure they did. it's in the West Stand IIRC and should be implemented just as soon as the roof is finished
-
And we've no idea why. In seasons past our former managers have talked about how they had to let players know they weren't being kept on. Ferguson meanwhile, after our embarrassing relegation, was MIA for weeks before resurfacing again suggesting that he didn't have any (face to face) communication with players who were out of contract. With every passing day I find myself less and less likely to ever want to go to an ICT game again. What has happened to the club that I would previously do anything to support? It's unrecognisable now run by a bunch of charlatans who don't give a f'ck about the club, players or fans.

I see that the DPEA have confirmed, as of yesterday, that all the necessary documentation for the appeal have now been lodged. A raft of additional documents have been uploaded for viewing - https://www.dpea.scotland.gov.uk/CaseDetails.aspx?id=125202
-
That defending from Savage at the corner is rotten.
-
On the point of the absent documents it's not that unusual for the DPEA to notice that something is missing and let the various parties know about it. There is another appeal lodged with them that is also on hold because the appeal form hasn't been completed. Of course it doesn't leave you thinking that those involved have it all under control.
-
Their efforts of course were so much appreciated that most never even got a call from the club regarding their contracts and / or future with the club. This mob really do think the fans are stupid.
-
Because that's all he's got to work with. There's no money to being anyone in. Unless Gardiner et al clear out ASAP and new investment comes in we're going to end up going with the young lads for this season which is a big ask of them.

"I've built monorails to Charleston, Inshes and North Kessock and by gum it put them on the map!"
-
Yes, it took place right after the Duncan Shearer Cup the club said it was going to organise a few years back.
-
If I were still a ST holder I'd be adopting a similar position as yourself. Sadly, I doubt you will lose your seats given the empty spaces in the stands over the last season or so.
-
We can also add failing to offer Roddy MacGregror a deal likely cost the club money even if he didn't sign it as we would have received a development fee for him had he turned us down. St Mirren did similar with Jay Henderson a year or so ago.
-
You have to wonder then why we gave him such a chunky contract given 1) our precarious financial situation even before he arrived and; 2) his non existent to rotten record as manager.
-
Yeah, dunk on the fans. They're the ones who deserve to be criticised right now.

MacGregor and Samuels for one are both out of contract and have essentially left the club. Allegedly so have folk like Ryan Esson. With every passing day I get more and more angered by the utter contempt those in charge at ICT seem to hold the fans in. We've had no communication for weeks and then they pop up to say "Give us some money!" before slithering off again. We only find out that players are leaving because other clubs announce they are signing them and / or they announce it themselves on social media. The way supporters and players have been treated over the last few months is despicable (as mentioned before here). I genuinely don't think that anyone left at the club cares. If they do they have a funny way of showing it. As a result, I don't give a f'ck about the club right now and I certainly won't be parting with any of my hard earned cash to buy a strip or anything else whilst fans continue to be held in low esteem. Those in charge are riding this club into the ground and part of me thinks there are some who are enjoying it.

Who would honestly believe a word that comes from the club at the minute? I certainly don't and the only time they pipe up is to demand cash. If folk are happy with the statement the other day and are now content to part with their cash good on them but I won't be giving them anything. I am appalled at the way they have treated players and fans for a significant period of time. They deserve nothing but contempt in my view.

Not sure. I think Alloa and QotS are already back and training but you might think that as one the few (possibly the only I can't recall right now) full time teams in the league we might be back sooner than others.
-
A little over three weeks before our first competitive game of the season and we've not started training, no signings, no word on players coming or going from last season and the manager is MIA. What a club!
-
Some familiar names on the list of donors. Scott Allardice, Robbie Deas, Cammy Harper and Roddy MacGregor. Also in there are the likes of Tom Grivosti, Lewis Vaughan and John Souttar who appears to have donated £250 which is very generous!

What a shambles we are. Fans have no idea what the hell is going on but are being asked to fork out to support the club despite there being no details of season tickets, strips or anything like that. Compare that to pretty much every other team in the country who have had their new tops and season ticket prices out for weeks and are proactively planning for the forthcoming campaign. As a result a large number of supporters have threatened to withhold money they would normally spend supporting the team, allegedly to the tune of £200,000, until they see change in the boardroom. The Chairman has resigned with immediate effect. The CEO has resigned and is working his notice. The rest of the board are, we assume, doing something but we don't know what. We are teetering on the brink of administration with an insolvency practitioner brought in to advise the club on what to do. Something like 4 weeks before the season starts and we have essentially no team. All our rivals are strengthening, getting players signed up and will very soon be starting pre season training. Meanwhile we fool around with the idea of moving our training base half way down the country, don't tell any of the senior or youth players or staff. It then transpires that the deal we did with Kelty Hearts hadn't been run past Fife Council as it turns that they own the ground / training site and not Kelty, something we never bothered to check on. We then decide to end the agreement to train in Kelty a few days later except we apparently don't tell Kelty Hearts about it who find out that we have changed our minds when they read about it in newspapers. We haven't heard anything from the manager who seems to have gone into hiding for the last month. We assume he is staying on but there's never been any official confirmation about what he is doing since relegation though there has been mention of a pay cut with the drop down the divisions. Players have been completely sidelined by the club with many speaking out to say they've had no contact since relegation and, as they are out of contract, assume that they won't be an ICT player any more. In the case of one player they have had important, potentially career saving surgery, postponed twice by the club. The player was advised by a director, ironically a retired knee surgeon, to essentially "run off" the injury. The costs for the operation are now being crowdfunded by a former team mate to help pay for it. In a piece of good news, it looks like the crowdfunder will reach its target in less than a day. The only communication we have had from the club are two tin eared statements, one announcing the ill fated Kelty move, the other saying that we aren't moving to Kelty but that we are basically f'cked anyway so YOLO. Nothing about the Chairman resigning and nothing about players or staff leaving the club. Anything I have missed from this basket case of a football club?
