  1. The club clearly isn't going to to commit to anything or anyone unless they need to and until this financial shambles is resolved. I think we can all draw our own conclusions as to how bad things are if the club aren't bothering to hand out renewals of any kind to players or staff.
  2. I don't see why anyone would want to hand over money to the club right now with the very real threat of administration on the cards. Fine if you have money burning a hole in your pocket but I suspect that won't be the case for a lot of people. Which makes Grassa's comments the other day (about asking ICT fans to dig deep now the Kelty move is off) all the more bizarre to me. Even if fans did want to support the club how can they? We don't know anything about STs for next season!

    New ICT Podcast

There's a new podcast out which features former ICT player Mark Ridgers who gives us his view on last season, the current financial predicament and that planned move to Kelty. Also on the pod is Kieran Maguire of The Price of Football fame to pour over our financials. Enjoy!
  4. Folk should be down the stadium with pitch forks demanding those in charge come out and face them. What an absolute shambles. I'm embarrassed to say I support this team right now.
  5. Harry Gow?
  6. Absolutely no acknowledgement of the events of the last few days. Nothing about the Chairman resigning. Nothing about the laughable situation we found ourselves in with Kelty / Fife Council. Nothing about the overdue accounts. Nothing about the lack of communication. Nothing about anything really other than things are looking pretty shit right now. And no apology to supporters for any of this.
  7. Yeah but a more level headed piece won't get those clicks that the Courier so depserately craves nowadays.

    New ICT Podcast

The episodes seem to have been picked up by a couple of papers. The Guardian as mentioned above and The Herald (£). @alternative maryhill also appeared on The Terrace Podcast (£) a couple of days ago as well.
  9. Kelty move off?
  10. Well, we're f'cked. If we don't go into administration before the season starts I'll be surprised.
  11. As expected. The dullest of the dullest fixtures we could have gotten. Another snorefest of a League Cup group.
  12. If the links below work you can just click the play button and listen to them that way:
  13. I have no basis for this but I have a feeling we'll be away to Dundee and Annan and home to Bonnyrigg and Arbroath. Suspect we are all hoping for a trip to Midlothian though!
  14. We've been drawn against Dundee, Arbroath, Annan Athletic and Bonnyrigg Rose. Another exciting group of unfamiliar teams to test ourselves against!
  15. I've not seen the official notice but assumed it would be dated close to the time they refused the application at the hearing in March. If the notice isn't dated until 11 April then yes that would give them some more breathing space to get their appeal submitted. ETA: You are correct the decision notice was dated 11 April so they'll have until ~ 11 July to get something into the DPEA.
  16. I don't know about that but the DPEA are pretty good at getting information online promptly so I'd expect it to be online if an appeal has been lodged.
  17. Just so folk have some context to this the planning application was officially refused on or around 14 March 2024. Section 6 of the Guide to Planning Appeals in Scotland states that the limit for appealing is three months from the date of the decision. Looking at the DPEA website shows a total of six appeals, since the battery form decision, within the Highland Council area. Only three of them are a Planning Permission Appeal (PPA) and they are located in Farr or Drumnadrochit. So this means that no planning appeal has been submitted for the BESS (yet!) and they have something like 17 days to get one in.

Good to hear you liked it. Moff did a power of work getting the edit done in time to release it so soon. Not an easy job but praise like that makes it worthwhile!
  19. No and they have something like 3 weeks to get an appeal in before they lose the opportunity.
  20. TBF when we won the Scottish Cup our team was (mostly) full of players from the English lower leagues and we felt connected with them. I think a bigger issue is not so much where they come from but where they are based. Many players have cited the spirit created by having the players bond when they were up in the Highlands and I think that resonated with fans as well. It made fans and players somewhat alike.
