  1. Around the 1 hour 45 minute (!) mark of the latest Wyness Shuffle pod we flag up some serious and some not so serious names for next season. Link in signature. My not so serious suggestion was Shinniesta who was released by Charlton. We could do with a number ten to play behind the striker. Could Polly fancy a return to ICT? And Marley Watkins was recently released...
  2. It took about 10 minutes to pull together whilst I was eating my Coco Pops.
  3. These are the sides we have faced in recent years with ties against Raith Rovers and Cowdenbeath being a recurring feature it seems. Not sure what sides are in what half of the draw but hopefully a little variety at the very least would be good. ETA: The "North" Group 1 seeds are Livingston, Dundee United, Ross County and Hearts so we will get one of them. The other "North" Group 2 seeds, of which we are one, are Dundee, Raith Rovers, and Arbroath so we won't be drawn against any of those sides.

Unbelievably they have appointed MM. Absolutely mind boggling.

    He's going to Alloa.
  6. He's probably still listed as an ICT player until his registration moves to Hibs which, I would guess, is the end of this month or the start of next month.

Just the usual list of folk kicking about Scottish football at the moment. Some of the names aren't feasible. Darren Young just signed a two year extension to his contract at East Fife so he's not coming in and Liam Fox has gone to Hibs only in the last few days as a coach. Unless we fork out cash for these guys they aren't a starter.
  8. Gaining two with Hamilton already down and Killie, as mentioned above, looking set to join them.

Appreciate the kind words folks although I did have to check the meaning of "indefatigable"...

Oh hello. It's been a while and now the season is over TWS chaps have recorded an end of season pod for you all. We have interviews with Scot Gardiner, Sean Welsh and Neil McCann, we dissect the past season, discuss the possible new managers for ICT and draw up a shortlist of possible transfers targets for whoever takes charge and, finally, we put the final nail in the coffin of the ICT Nightmare XI.

I'd imagine it's highly unlikely. He's been well backed and not delivered so time for him to move on and for them to try someone new.
  12. RiG replied to SMEE's topic in Caley Thistle
McCann recently turned down Falkirk because he has other things on. I'd be surprised if he would contemplate a return to ICT.

...to become the new Sporting Director The club is now looking for a new Head Coach...
  14. Probably Robbo offering Danny another lift but holding him hostage at Fort George saying he's not allowed to go.
  15. I've no time for sarcasm. I am a very serious poster.
  16. He hasn't been found guilty AFAIK. Case is going back to court later this year. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-56649788
  17. Pretty sure no as the transfer window hasn't opened yet. Hibs have just secured the right to transfer his registration from us to them when it does open in June. Happy to be corrected.
  18. It feels like we only started to see glimpses of what MacKay could do. If you had said to me even back in March that Hibs would be after him there's no way I would have believed you. But whilst it's a shame to see him go after only just getting to see what he could do it's also good in some ways for the club and Robbo to continue to sell us as the kind of side where, if you come up here and do well, you can get a good move after a couple of seasons and hopefully earn us some decent cash as well.
  19. RiG replied to Robert's topic in General Football
Delighted that Falkirk won't have a chance to come up. Hands down one of the worst away day experiences in Scotland.
  20. Allan Preston is a massive arsehole. One of the worst pundits on Sportsound and that's saying something.
  21. It's into six figures I understand plus "add ons".
  22. If anyone hasn't listened to it yet don't forget we had a chat with Danny last month before the Highland Derby game.
  23. I wonder, though I have no idea if this would be possible, if part of the Allan loan deal was that Hibs had some kind of first option on MacKay? I am hopeful we can get six figures for Danny. We got £100,000 for Donaldson (all in) and he was only months away from his contract expiring. Still a full year to go before MacKays deal winds down IIRC.
  24. That would be disappointing after we finally have started to see the promise he has but given his recent form it's not too much of a surprise that he is on the radar of top tier clubs. Hopefully we get some decent money for him at least. I think he has one year left on his contract? Six figures would be excellent but I suspect I am dreaming.
  25. They still have two games to go...
