ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
That's a fucking ridiculous signing at this level. You love to see it etc.

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
No idea about dates but the following I believe are out of contract at the end of this season: James Keatings (PCA with Raith Rovers agreed) Sean Welsh James Vincent Shane Sutherland Aaron Doran Lewis Toshney Kevin McHattie Brad Mckay Miles Storey David Carson Nikolay Todorov Anthony MacDonald Cammy Mackay If they did then I would be trying attach metal parts to Toshney to make him fit again ASAP. Can't say either impressed me all that much on Tuesday but that's just one game.

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
It's only a slap in the face if we have a promising youngster who can play in the position that Lyall can play and is as good or better than him. I don't know if we do have a promising youngster who can play on the wings. Someone with better knowledge of the youths can surely advise.

We've signed Aaron Lyall on loan from Rangers.

Optimist or Pessimist
If we can get 3 points against Arbroath then that will round off our best run of form in the league since the start of the 2019/20 campaign.

Raith Rovers -V- Inverness CT - Tuesday - Preview
After all the doom and gloom two pretty encouraging performances against a decent Championship rival. It would have been nice to have bagged more than one goal but any win will do right now. We were on top from the off with a neatly taken corner drifted to the edge of the box where Allardice met the ball and headed goalwards but it came off the bar. When the ball was played back into the penalty area it fell to Sutherland but he took too long to get a shot away and when he did it was too weak to trouble MacDonald. With Raith just as willing to try and attack there was plenty of space for both sides to exploit. That changed when Davidson was shown a straight red when he tussled with Todorov for a high ball . There didn't look to be too much in it but with Todorov on the floor and ICT players incensed the referee showed Davidson a straight red. Davidson then channelled his inner Alex Bone and started shouting at Todorov whilst he was lying on the ground and then grabbed Sean Welsh by the throat before shouting at anyone who would listen to him as he stomped off the pitch. Raith started to sit back a little deeper after this and we struggled to break them down, as we have done so often against teams who are more defensive minded. Danny MacKay almost grabbed the opener when he collected the ball on the left and drove past his man into the box before attempting to curl the ball in at the back post but MacDonald was equal to it and pushed the effort away. Raith threatened when Regan Hendry turned a couple of ICT players inside but his resultant cross evaded all of his team mates. Welsh and MacGregor then linked up to play in Sutherland but he was snuffed out before he could get a decent shot away. Raith opened the second half strongly when Kennedy teed up Hendry who lashed a long range effort on goal from about 25 yards but Ridgers tipped it over. From a Rovers corner ICT then grabbed the opener. Ridgers sent a long ball downfield for MacKay to chase and, under pressure from a Rovers defender and MacDonald rushing out to meet him, he coolly lifted the ball over the keeper and into the net. MacKay had another great chance when MacGregor poked a ball through to him but as he cut in from the left he again tried to curl and effort in at the back post but he didn't place it far enough away from MacDonald to trouble him. Ridgers was called into action again to tip over a Benedictus header from a corner as Raith looked to draw level but Welsh almost killed the game off when he tried to pass a shot in from just outside the box but it drifted wide. A Keatings free kick found Deas in space at the back post and he was able to turn the ball back across goal but no one was on hand to turn it and we were almost made to pay when Vaughan dragged the ball away from Mckay and tested Ridgers who palmed the ball away. Plenty of changes for both sides and it is a bit surprising that there weren't more goals but three points and a clean sheet are hugely welcomed at this stage in the season.

Inverness CT -V- Morton - Preview - Matchnight
I assume you mean the defender next to Deas? The Morton player closest to Doran is on the edge of the box and Todorov is well inside the penalty area. The Morton defender on the right side is a bit closer but again Toddy is still a couple of steps behind everyone. It's not really close at all.

Honest assessment
Duffy also criticising the team. https://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/sport/duffy-caley-thistle-fight-against-drop-is-all-players-fault-230964/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter As a friend has said talk is cheap. All well and good saying this stuff but it needs to show on the pitch for it to really mean anything. Somewhat disappointing it's taken two freshmen in the team to issue these kinds of calls.

Season Ticket 21/22
If we can get back to games from the start of next season then I will renew although I would like to think there will be some discount for ST holders who will, for an entire season, have paid 50% more per game than "walk up" punters. If there is any streaming involved next season then there is no chance I will renew my ST. I will just purchase games on a math by match basis.

Inverness CT -V- Morton - Preview - Matchnight
We had an encouraging opening 30 minutes against Hearts but everything after that has been absolutely abysmal. We are sleepwalking towards relegation. I would not be at all surprised if Buckie put us out of the Scottish Cup. We have already had a stupid run of games and we play Saturday / Tuesday or Wednesday for all of March I think. Our squad isn't the biggest and the guys we do have available will be absolutely burst. A "new" manager trying to instil his philosophy into players who are clearly struggling with it when we don't have the time to adapt to this kind of change and he can't bring in players who can play that way. It has all the hallmarks of another chapter in the Inverness CT banter years.

Alloa Athletic -V- Inverness CT - Preview & Matchday
Hard not to notice that McCann persisted with trying to play it out from the back despite 1) the players really not looking comfortable with it; and 2) Alloa, like Dundee, cottoning on to this and press us high up the pitch making things even more uncomfortable. Very strange that McCann didn't seem to make any changes in response to this. I could hear Peter Grant over the stream (or a member of his coaching staff) telling his players to push right up on us. Hard to believe McCann couldn't also hear this. Highlights from Alloa are here BTW.

I see Raith have confirmed the PCA. Of course the question now is do we play Keatings against Raith Rovers in the upcoming double header?
