Dargo is a Saint?
Are we going to be like this every time a player leaves ICT? :015:

Who was your favourite ICT Player
My top 3 would be (and they are more "recent" players I'm afraid). 1 Paul Sheerin 2 Barry Robson 3 Barry Wilson Those are in no real order. Sheerin - His passing was top notch and some of the stirkes he unleashed were incredible. One strike v Alloa from about 35 yards springs to mind. And aside from that Cup final he was ice cool from the spot. I mind when he took the piss out of Andy MacLaren in the Killie Cup game getting the ned so wound up he booted Sheerin into touch and got a red card for his troubles. Sheerin picked himself up and laughed at him :015: Robson - One of the Wing Kings for ICT. On his day, no one could cross a ball like he could with that left foot. A menace at free kicks as well and a fantastic dribbler. Ask County fans if you need more proof :015: Temper often let him down but for his sheer skill and ball control Robson has to be up there. Wilson - Another Wing King and often was used up front and repaid Paterson with a number of goals. I always used to think he was better than the other ICT players because he had Adidas Predators on :015: He had pace and skill in abunance and while those might have diminshed now (the skill not so much) he is still so intelligent he knows exactly what to do with the ball even if he can't beat a man.

Who do we go for then?
Loan signings would be ideal provided the fans were okay with the player "using" ICT for a season or two.

Who is our most important player
Grant Munro.

Dargo is a Saint?
Sadly, even though people won't admit it, ICT are simply a "stepping stone" club. Hopefully that will change in the next few years though.

Dargo is a Saint?
:017: Indeed he did have plenty of opportunity to say yes or no but he wanted to see what other options are open to him. What's wrong with that? If you already knew the answer was no why are you getting so worked up about it when you "knew" it was going to happen anyway? Clearly he must have given staying here some thought otherwise he would have just left like other players have done or signed a deal with another team like Dods. He has not sold ICT short - he made clear months ago that he would be taking time over this decision. Unfortunately for us we can't compete with other SPL teams (despite what our board claim) or League 2 English clubs. Dargo looks likely to go with whoever offers him the best deal. Had he signed a deal while he was with us then questions about his commitment might have begun to creep in. Why should have he have done this? Well that should make dealing with him moving on a lot easier than some people are currently finding :015:

You are pure useless ken?

Where will we finish next season?
With the squad we have right now and what the other teams have at the minute I'd gladly take 10th.

Who do we go for then?
That's the worst one yet.

Dargo is a Saint?
Did you honestly expect him to say that he was leaving the club in front of all the supporters who were attending this do? We should have been looking anyway. We should always be looking to strengthen and the manager has even said he wanted a new face in up front. He should already have an idea of who to go for so, in theory, it shouldn't be a problem. However, if we placed all our eggs in one basket with Dargo then that puts us in trouble (maybe). A lot of people seem to be getting stuck on how it took him so long to announce his decision but I would have thought after the Black issue last season folk might realise that contracts aren't just offered then signed right away. They take a while to look over and the contract that Dargo is about to sign could be the most important one of his life. It's likely to be one of the last major ones he will sign and he needs to get it right. I don't blame him for not rushing into signing it despite the constant deadlines set by ICT to him. Remember of course he was out of contract and could do what he wanted. He was no longer ours to boss about or demand actions from.

Next Seasons fixtures well Ist game at least
Chuffed about the game on the 11th of August. Going up to Orkney and would have preferred not to have missed a Home game or a bigger Away one :003:

How was Dargo dishonest?

Dargo is a Saint?
What did people want from Dargo? He kept us up to date on the situation right up to the end of the season. Perhaps he could/should have answered quicker whether he wanted to sign or not but we always knew there was a very high chance he would leave. He was well within his rights as an out of contract player, and therefore unattached, to explore every option open to him. He had as much time as he wanted to look over his offers. he was no longer our player to order about. Sadly ours, despite what the club have so boldly claimed, didn't offer the best deal in the end.

Who do we go for then?
That's normally how rumours start! :015: Buchanan now appears to favour a move to County as we seem reluctant to put in an offer for the lad at the minute until he turns up for another "trial". If he got an offer from County it sounds like he would take it. We are by no means certain to get him either.
-
Who do we go for then?
If the rumours about Dargo signing for St. Mirren are true, and bearing in mind Sutton rejected St. Mirrens latest offer, then there is no way we can get Sutton. Decent strikers in Scotland are like gold dust at the minute. Dargo was one of them.

Dargo is a Saint?
Good luck to him wherever he turns up. Gutted he isn't re-signing for us and it will interesting to see if he does sign for another SPL team given, of course, that no other side outwith the Old Firm could match our offer. Let's get McSwegan resigned.

Did anyone really expect an answer?

Keogh to County?
Aye, that's exactly what I said - Keogh's "World Class"

Keogh to County?
1) Markus is a completely different player to Keogh :017: 2) Never saw anything special? Must have missed his goal v Clyde that essentially put us in the driving seat for the SFL1 title all those years ago :017:
