  1. Would you honestly give up your seat though that you have had for the past x number of seasons though? I think some would but I don't think all of the fans who currently sit there would do.
  2. I think that might even be only for International matches. Need to read this properly though: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Signal_Iduna_Park I read recently that Germany has the highest average attendance in the world for it's league games - could a combination of beer and standing areas be key to this? :015:
  3. Excellent stuff - the peroxide winger has been a revelation this season. Certainly my joint POTY with Hastings (and Scott Higgins).
  4. Amazed that both Wilson and Hastings haven't received some kind of recognition but well done to both Bayne and Munro :001:
  5. I wish but sadly it will never happen. Just as behind the goals was the place for atmosphere at Telford Street and also behind the goals at the TCS when there was terracing it is behind the goals now that a lot of people want to sit/stand/squat for that reason. However people also want to sit there for the view and I doubt they will give up their seats (and that's perfectly fair). I am sure I read/heard that there was a chance of a singing section next year in the North Stand but someone would need to confirm?
  6. Shame you feel like that Rosscoe. You should have said something to me on Saturday....when I was in the signing section with you all :011: "Tannadice Loyal Army!"
  7. I would imagine only if they stand celebrating it for a pro longed period of time.
  8. That appears to be the key thing here. People are annoyed at the inconsistency here. I don't agree with the "They are doing it to" argument with regards to Pars fans on Saturday. They hardly had anyone standing up. But when you have an over crowded South Stand with people in the aisles, posing a much bigger safety risk, you have to question why the stewards do not do anything about that. The answer, of course, is in your hypothesis. I would agree to be honest. It wouldn't have taken much to simply sit down but I would ask a couple of questions: 1) Was the force (allegedly) used to throw fans out excessive? 2) Did particular stewards threaten violence with fans who were already complying with them?
  9. They're never up that soon after a game! :015: Try the following afternoon at the earliest - they are up now.
  10. I think the news that started filtering through about 4:15pm subdued the Pars support somewhat to such an effect that they just slumped into their seats :004:
  11. Lennon is a cheating scum bag.
  12. There weren't really that many Pars fans standing up though. Probably about many as our fans - i.e. about 8. When the Old Filth visit it's a different matter. 2,500 will stand up unchallenged by the stewards who will then also turn a blind eye to Old Filth fans in our areas of the ground (Yes Mike - still waiting on a reply to that email I sent you!).
  13. http://www.caleyjags.com/pa/g/g.htm Photos are there. And they aren't loading :007:
  14. I use a spell checking extension in Firefox :comp01:
  15. Personally I would throw half of you lot out for your inability to grasp the English language (the site has a spell checker!) but that's a different subject :016: Yesterday showed how good an atmosphere we can create if like minded people are allowed to congregate and sing/chant or whatever. Sadly when the rain came on and a lot of people in the singing section went back into the North Stand that reduced our numbers and it made it easier for the stewards to pick on the smaller group of fans without reprisal. All that was ever asked of us was to sit down in the seats. That's fair enough, in my opinion, but only if we are blocking someone else's view. No one's view was being obstructed yesterday afternoon so I am not too sure what the problem was there. There wasn't many of us, we were well spaced out and our section was, as a result, not over flowing with fans. Actions of the stewards - hassle and intimidate young fans who merely asked the question we all were thinking about asking "Who are we offending by standing up?". Answer - "You're out!". Contrast this to an OF game where Celtic/Rangers fans stand throughout the 90 minutes, spill over into the aisles, rush down the stand when they score and invade the pitch - resultant action from the stewards - nothing. It is very much one rule for Home fans and another for Away fans and it is one that is adversely affecting Home fans - they won't get behind their team because they know they run a risk of getting thrown out by an over zealous steward.
  16. Ones we could never match. He will go to a Championship side or an L1 side who will still be able to outbid us.
  17. I'm he'll do it :)

Nah it wasn't the spelling I was laughing at - simply the suggestion of JF. That will have pleased Clacher :001:

  20. Easily enough room. You'll probably out number the Home fans as well.

Does the smoking ban not extend to this forum? :018: :016:
  22. Have you just....quoted my previous post as a response? :017:

    Very interesting and very welcome!
  24. Perhaps writing him off was a bit harsh but certainly appeared to be an element of doubt in your post about his ability. Neither did half of our team when they made the step up to the SPL. Not regular experience of the SPL anyway. Gary McSwegan? :016: But this guy clearly does. He wants to go full time, he wants a move. He wants to improve his game.
  25. Marcus has done fine since stepping up and a lot of our team made an apparently impossible step up from SFL1 to the SPL. Granted we are talking about 2 steps up here but it can be done (see Marcus). I don't think we should be so quick to write off the guy because he plays in SFL2. He will be moving on to a bigger club sooner rather than later. If we want him we should move for him. Oh, text speak is ghey.
