Team for Hibs
Brown Tokley Caff Munro Hastings Wilson Black Rankin Morgan (McBain) Dargo Bayne (Wyness) If Bayne starts get Morgan on the left side of midfield. His crossing is fantastic and with Baynes aerial threat we might have a potent goal scoring threat there. If CC decides to retain McBain on the left keep Wyness in there. When Royksopp gets shown the inside he always cuts back on his left and can't get a cross in so a targetman in the box might be a bit of a waste there. Wyness offers a route to goal through neat interchange of passing which McBain is good at - keep it nice and simple and pass it.

Celtic Park
My brain cells are no use to you! :015: Sorry!
-
Dods
Maybe CC shouldn't have blasted Dods after the St. Mirren game. I'm sure that really helped :006:
-
Celtic Park
So what exactly are you asking here?
-
Bayne sent to shrink
Why should he be ahead of Denzil? Wyness' link up play and holding the ball up and spreading it to other players has been superb in the last two games.
-
Dods
Sell him! He clearly isn't happy and is a shadow of the player he was last season. He obviously doesn't want to be here and he wants to go to Yinited.

Aberdeen V ICT - 1:1 final score
I'm not quite sure why Black is getting all this stick. Yes he was like that last seasn but he was really good on Saturday and his bringing the ball out of defence was excellent. His close control and then released pass when under pressure from 2 Dons players was another example of why this guy is one of the best youngsters in our game.

Charlie Christie Has Left The Club!!!
I bet even IHE never saw this one coming! :017: :017: :015: :015:

Parratt released ?
He's gone to Accies http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...cal/5257790.stm

Ritchie Hart
Strongly disagree on the crossing thing. Take Morgan and now Rankin out of our team and Hart is by far and away the best crosser we have - IMO.
-
Parratt released ?
I think this is a poor decision by ICT. With the uncertainty surrounding Dods and Proctor, letting our other right back leave the club is a daft decision. Caff can play there but what if Dods leaves? He will go to centre back leaving us with no established cover for right back or in the centre of defence. IMO - a poor decision.

Hearts of the matter...
Totally agree. I think we asked this before about whether the club has to have designated seating but I think it's one of the rules of the SPL but not 100% sure on that.
-
Parratt released ?
Yup totally agree. I don't feel that Caff is suited to that position at all. I know he can play there but he is not a designated right back as far as I can see. He is a central defender. He doesn't give enough going forward like Bambi or Parratt would do. I am very disappointed that we are looking like losing both these players now :008:

Scotsport
Better. It was pretty much impossible to get any worse. Loved how they missed out the shocker of a challenge by Dargo and then on Dargo in our game last night :006:

Parratt released ?
So we now have no cover for Tokely at right back?

Time To Come Clean
So it looks like it is more a case of Scotty having to come clean then! :008: :016:

Hearts V ICT
Still 3pm according to the Hearts site and the SPL.

David Proctor To Leave Next Week
That's fine by me! His temperment isn't that bad. But he is late in the tackle. If anyone has a temper problem right now it's Dargo.

Hearts of the matter...
My posts weren't meant to single out the North Stand as a whole but as that is where I sit that's where I hear them. And I certainly heard them at the end of the game as well. But you are right - the North Stand and Main stand do give terrific support to the team. But there is a minority that do, unfortunately without any real reason, tend to boo the team on the park for the simplest of things even at this early stage of the season. Very seldom has an away crowd been negative during an ICT game - perhaps Dunfermline last season would be one though (the 2 - 2 game).
-
Time To Come Clean
Fair enough but it doesn't really leave the fans anything to go on while, in this case, United and ICT try and out do each other. Ooops - more in reply to JKs post there. Sorry Gaz!
-
Hearts of the matter...
Fact: 3 minutes into the game last week the Home fans were booing Inverness Caledonian Thistle. They were shouting 'You're sh!te' and 'Useless! Totally useless!'. This is 3 minutes into the new SPL season. They are hardly supporting the team by doing that are they? Can the players realistically be expected to perform when people criticise them so quickly?

Time To Come Clean
With *this story* apparently suggesting that Proctor is set to move to Tannadice I couldn't help but pick up on this key paragraph; Now that's funny. I could have sworn that recently CC, GB and DS have all said that we won't sell anyone to the Arabs and also that the three players, one of whom was Proctor, that have been subject to bids from Yinited were all in CC first team plans. Why bother making statements such as this only to sell the player a couple of days later?
-
Hearts of the matter...
I would actually agree with you there! :015: I wonder if folk in the North Stand will beat the record, set this season, of booing the team after 3 minutes :006:

Hearts of the matter...
You forget that we are playing at Home.
