Dods
What kind of reception will he get over the next couple of games I wonder? Seems pretty obvious why he is doing this. Might not go down well with some sections of the support.

Tipped For The Drop
Thread here chief! Though I must admit I don't know which forum it's meant to be under so I won't close this until an Admin with brain power decides what to do :015:

Tipped For The Drop
Better but still dominated by the OF. The Hearts, Celtic and Rangers games was covered in 70 odd minutes while the other 3 were dealt with in about 12.

Worst performance yesterday
Drums will make no difference. What we need is simply more people to join in. Drums won't do that. But they were great! :001:
- Rankin or Morgan?
-
Normal Service Resumed
He has played left back on the odd occasion when Brewster used Wilson on the left hand side.
-
Normal Service Resumed
Morgan is a left back/left midfielder. I prefer him on the left hand side of midfield with Hastings as our left back as I feel the two work well together. Morgan also has a great cross on him.

Worst performance yesterday
What performance was worse 1) Saturdays loss 2) Or the 3 - 0 pumping by Falkirk?

Poor performance and tactics
I think some of the fans think like that as well.

Worst performance yesterday
There were about 800 Mirren fans. Allegedly the total attendance was 4,200.

Golly
Obviously there is no way that Golly will have gone out there to perform that poorly and he himself will know that he didn't do well yesterday and he certainly didn't need people cheering when he was subbed. Given the chance I bet he would do anything to try and prove those that 'cheered' him wrong by putting in a solid performance against Aberdeen.

Caleyjags.com - St. Mirren Pictures
They appear to be online now. Some good ones there. Don't mind losing to the Buddies now :015: :004: I'll have the one in the middle :love13: Andy Millens Wife :015:

Worst performance yesterday
The St. Mirren fans were great and a credit to their team. North Stand Massive tried to lift the team but obviously was left deflated by the manner of Mirrens second goal.

Golly
I don't think our defence coped with the pace and good link up between Kean(e) and Sutton. Those two looked very sharp up front and seem to have struck up a very good partnership. Much like Wyness and Dargo from last season. In fact the St. Mirren team resembles the ICT in a lot of ways. Strong defence with a very tight midfield that doesn't give much away and a front two who work well together and look likely to score goals. Of course I am not basing this on today after ICTs performance :015: but St. Mirren can do well in this league and I wouldn't be suprised to see them a bit clearer of the relegation battle than some might think. But we need to get our ***** in gear ASAP. Aberdeen Away then Hearts at Home followed by Hibs Away and then Celtic at Home - I think doesn't look like we'll get lots of points for a bit :007:

Golly
You are right Mantis. There was a cheer when he went off. No wonder our players hate playing at home :006:

ICT 1 - 2 St Mirren (FINAL SCORE)
The criticism of Golly is to be expected but Charlie did him no favors by playing a midfielder who plays an attacking central role on the left wing to support him. I lost count of the number of times that Rankin had left the left hand side to come infield leaving Golly alone of the left flank. This lead to little creativity on that side and thus resulted in these crossfield balls being played. Gollys distribution was poor but I think people should look at the other cogs in the team and question whether one was turning well enough to allow others to function properly. Caff is also not a right back. If Tokely was injured stick Proctor or Parratt in there. Not a central defender. Rankin was out of position. He did well though. But just because he has a left foot does not mean that we have found a Barry Robson style left midfielder. Not sure if St. Mirren deserved the win but they certainly looked to be a very well organised team capable of finishing well clear of the relegation battle. In fact they play the game just like us. Solid in defence and keep it tight in midfield. The game was like our 3 - 0 defeat to Falkirk last season. Falkirk played the way we play Away and we couldn't break them down. The same happened today and St. Mirren took their goals well. And their keeper will get an assist for the second!!! :015:

Charlie has said that we can expect changes for next weeks game against Aberdeen.
