  1. It's the only one they know.
  2. You're being negative Libero - that is frowned on by (some) folk around here you boo boy you! :015:
  3. McConalogue? Oh for Gods sake!
  4. Guess that means the Buchanan deal is dead?
  5. Aberdeen still don't look anything special. I have never been impressed by them since we ventrued into the SPL and it amazes me that we still cannot beat them. To be honest though despite this I can see the run continuing. Aberdeens 7-1-3 against our 2-4-5 points towards a Home win. I don't think Brewster will start for Aberdire but I can certainly see him coming on later on in the game unless Miller or that Kemnay twat suffer injuries in the next couple of days. Hopefully Calderwood will play Severin out of position so he doesn't exert too much influence on the game. Langfield isn't that great a keeper and if we can test him with a few pop shots (Hello Mr. Rankin!) then he might just spill the ball again. The Pittroddie pitch looked awful last night and I can see it cutting up a bit more during the next couple of days if the weather remains as pish.
  6. I wouldn't mind if he did sign a pre contract with Falkirk provided it could have been kept out of the news. That way we could have no doubts about his commitment to ICT. Look at Wyness when he signed a pre contract at Hearts. If I mind right news of the deal never came out until the end of the season so no one could doubt Denzils commitment to the club. Shame a similar thing couldn't happen here.
  7. Give me a C is uttery awful.
  8. There's a thread in the rumour mill but this rumour seems to be becoming more official. He has scored a fair few goals for Cowdenbeath but he nearly lost his leg at the end of last season in a supposed horror tackle with an Elgin defender. He seems to have recovered very well indeed. He was at Aberdeen before and was punted along with his brother due to being not good enough. They were only signed as cover.
  9. Another five figure fee? That could mean CC has spent more on two signings that the rest of our managers combined :015:
  10. More money than we are offering? That is what it will come down to.
  11. Graham Sharp of Peterhead?
  12. Gows move to Hibs has certainly faultered anyway.
  13. Also (DaveDargo reminded me) - maybe if CC didn't keep going about us being a small club in his interviews then he might be able to convince players (and fans) that Falkirk aren't bigger than we are (for some). He has come across as somewhat hypocritical after all this.
  14. I tend to agree - maybe not the higher amounts, but the structure, which is pretty much exactly what I suggested above - didnt realise Hearts priced themselves this way :022: For one game a season or two ago Hearts reduced the tickets when they played us to £10 and £5. A fantastic gesture. Motherwell also reduced the prices against Falkirk with all proceeds going to charity. I think an extra 3,000 people turned up that day. Perhaps something could be done with ICT except be Scrooges and keep the money and thus hopefully attract more folk back in the future?
  15. To quote the famous line "I think you have created the nail - hammer interface here". 100% spot on post there. The club cannot blame the fans for not turning up for games when they trebled the cost of a concession for entry to the North end of the ground. Yes we have a "stand" there but a 3 fold increase to the now disgusting price of £15 for a child to sit in that stand is despicable and will only serve to turn people away from football and not encourage them. Surely ICT can see that? :006:

    Wilson for Mackie.

I saw that one as well just after this. An even worse one is the following which Falkirk fans have "heard" Brown - > Falkirk for Jon Stewart and 10k - > ICT :010:
  17. Personally I think Hearts have it spot on with their pricing *Hearts Clicky*
  18. Hearts are normally one of the best clubs when it comes to ticket prices IIRC. In the past they have been as low as £10/£5 but are normally abround £15 and £10.
  19. Nope here is a worse one! :015:

    Wilson for Mackie.

    Worst rumour ever.

As someone on P & B pointed out this story is quite humorous now http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ian/6204818.stm
  22. I agree with Caley D as that is certainly how the article came across to me. Lets take a little refresher here. A family of 4 to watch the Rangers game will have spent, to sit in the Main Stand, something approaching £100. Yes it is somewhat more than Non OF games would cost but the fact is if you include food, drinks and a programme or two every 2 weeks (normally) a family would spend £100 to visit ICT. Value for money? I don't think so. The Cup games should have had lower prices but they didn't. I am aware of the difficulties that can occur when attempting to reduce admission (permission of the visiting club being one) but as we have seen in this country reduced ticket pricing works (see Motherwell and Falkirk last season) and Wigan this season.
  23. I got my tickets weeks ago for the bus - cheap day out in Edinburger :001:
  24. He's already admitted he talked to you :016:
  25. Sounded like Loyal Army to me but I don't have a problem with it even if it was. I've already said what some might view as Caley army being "wrong". EWS - point taken about Cardiff.
