  1. Is this further proof that the club is losing more touch with fans and just bothering about money? I think so. A lot of fans have voiced concerns about ticket prices and nothing appears to have been taken on board :007:
  2. I actually agree with you. I think it warrants a thread onits own now that it is official.
  3. Ach you only get out on a technicality! :004:
  4. It's in the Rumour Mill ya muppet! :016:
  5. Erm Aberdeen look set to strengthen seriously over the summer, even if big fees aren't involved. Hibs have a fantastic set of youngsters coming through, Killie have a very shrewd manager in Jefferies who gets a lot from his players, United are likely to be backed heavily again from ET.... ...there could be a lot of strenghtening going on over the summer. It will be interesting to see what we do.

I think you saw the 'ghost link' in the AG forum that says Moved which just means it has been moved to another forum :011:

:017: It's in the ICT Off The Park Forum now after folk said it should be in that forum instead of Anything Goes.
  9. The very first thing I would do is reduce the prices for kids to get in. £15 is not on. Second, more advertisments in the local press. A well advertised bus service from town to the stadium would be next on the list. Finally, winning some games at Home would be a nice touch :015:
  10. Really? They got well and truely thrashed last night and deservedly so. Sevilla showed the difference in class between some of the EPL teams. I wasn't sure if Schwarzer was fully fit as I thought he seemed at fault for some of the goals. Not sure about this penalty either. If I mind right a very similar challenge by Clichy on Jose Mari led ITV to call the award the dive of the century and yet this similar challenge was a stonewaller!?
  11. Woo hoo! :021:
  12. 4th place? No way. Not unless we see some serious investment at ICT in terms of transfer budget and increasing the available wages. Don't get me wrong I would love it to happen but we need to be realistic and if folk start getting ideas above their station then that is just inviting trouble. A more realistic challenge is trying to get into the top 6 again as we don't have the finances to compete with teams that will realistically go for top 4.
  13. Wooof! What a finish! 1 - 1 after some of the worst defending ever :006:
  14. First game kicks off soon. Is anyone else really excited about this tournament? EDIT: That trophy is even uglier than me! :017:
  15. Fantastic stuff! :021:
  16. Peterhead are unbeaten against Partick this season. Living with a Blue Toon fan allows me access to their deep dark secrets. I knew Stewie had signed his new deal about a week before it was released to the press :003:
  17. Surely what really matters though is results. Regardless of who was playing or what formation was being used Chisolm essentially secured your SPL place and got punted. Brewster then takes the exact same squad on a nose dive towards Division One where only the good start made by Chisolm ended up saving you and Livis mince performances.
  18. Hmm, I dunno. Ask many an ICT fan and they will say he isn't that good a manager. he has a **** of a job on his hands at Yinited though. So far he hasn't had to majorily overhaul a sqaud. At ICT he got a good group of guys that played for each other and the team was very steady. United are 'underachieving' and are in disarray and he hasn't come across that before. Will be interesting to see what happens.
  19. You mean Brewster might actually win a game? Away and boil yer heid!
  20. Dods would instantly become your best defender (© The Scarf) if you signed him.
  21. Woof! I am there! :001:
  22. He is right but he is also forgetting about some of the guys the bought in that aren't in that Cup side. Bingham cost about 35k for them and not many 3rd division sides can afford that plus the wages and bonuses they are on. Canning cost about 50k I think. When Tosh moved to Gretna they were in the 3rd Divison weren't they? That means they were able to rival an SPL contract offer when they were in the 3rd Divison - how many Div 3 sides can do that? I don't have a problem with them spending that money but what I have a problem with is when they try and say it has nothing to do with the amount of money going into the club and that they deserve more credit when they are already getting plenty of it as it stands.
  23. I didn't watch it but I believe this line was muttered by BM "It's not because of my money, it's all down to the gaffer getting these players in" but then he goes and says the following "I've spent a lot of money here that I'll never see a return on....some people spend millions on yachts and what have you, I spend it on a football club". Also it turns out that they offered Canning 3 times what he was on at Coutny to sign for them and have offered a player £1,300 p/w to sign for them. Now I don't have a problem with the amount of money because it is Milesons and he can do what he wants with it. What I am sick of hearing though is the rubbish spouted by Alexander, Mileson and anyone else who trys to claim the success is not down to money when, I am sorry, it clearly is. Fair play to them, they are doing nothing wrong but to say their success is not down to the money being poured in just doesn't wash I'm sorry.
  24. Well that seems to ditch any interest in Brown and maybe any bids for Dods?
  25. I went to the pub instead and forgot about it! :015:
