  1. I tend to agree - maybe not the higher amounts, but the structure, which is pretty much exactly what I suggested above - didnt realise Hearts priced themselves this way :022: For one game a season or two ago Hearts reduced the tickets when they played us to £10 and £5. A fantastic gesture. Motherwell also reduced the prices against Falkirk with all proceeds going to charity. I think an extra 3,000 people turned up that day. Perhaps something could be done with ICT except be Scrooges and keep the money and thus hopefully attract more folk back in the future?
  2. To quote the famous line "I think you have created the nail - hammer interface here". 100% spot on post there. The club cannot blame the fans for not turning up for games when they trebled the cost of a concession for entry to the North end of the ground. Yes we have a "stand" there but a 3 fold increase to the now disgusting price of £15 for a child to sit in that stand is despicable and will only serve to turn people away from football and not encourage them. Surely ICT can see that? :006:

    Wilson for Mackie.

I saw that one as well just after this. An even worse one is the following which Falkirk fans have "heard" Brown - > Falkirk for Jon Stewart and 10k - > ICT :010:
  4. Personally I think Hearts have it spot on with their pricing *Hearts Clicky*
  5. Hearts are normally one of the best clubs when it comes to ticket prices IIRC. In the past they have been as low as £10/£5 but are normally abround £15 and £10.
  6. Nope here is a worse one! :015:

    Wilson for Mackie.

    Worst rumour ever.

As someone on P & B pointed out this story is quite humorous now http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ian/6204818.stm
  9. I agree with Caley D as that is certainly how the article came across to me. Lets take a little refresher here. A family of 4 to watch the Rangers game will have spent, to sit in the Main Stand, something approaching £100. Yes it is somewhat more than Non OF games would cost but the fact is if you include food, drinks and a programme or two every 2 weeks (normally) a family would spend £100 to visit ICT. Value for money? I don't think so. The Cup games should have had lower prices but they didn't. I am aware of the difficulties that can occur when attempting to reduce admission (permission of the visiting club being one) but as we have seen in this country reduced ticket pricing works (see Motherwell and Falkirk last season) and Wigan this season.
  10. I got my tickets weeks ago for the bus - cheap day out in Edinburger :001:
  11. He's already admitted he talked to you :016:
  12. Sounded like Loyal Army to me but I don't have a problem with it even if it was. I've already said what some might view as Caley army being "wrong". EWS - point taken about Cardiff.
  13. The reason he isn't in the Scotland squad is that he isn't good enough to be in the Scotland squad. The simple fact despite the fact he is a GOOD keeper there are a few weaknesses in his game and thus he is no better than the 3-4 other keepers vying to be the 2nd or 3rd choice to Craig Gordon Of course this is all probably paper talk but it does annoy me when the geography card is played YET again. If he wants to move to Falkirk for a few extra £££'s fair enough but don't pull ths 'I want to play for Scotland and need to move c**p' Exactly. Craig Gordon is by far and away a better keeper than Broonie as things stand. He is fighting for 2nd or 3rd Keeper pick. If he is good enough he will get picked. He is kidding himself, as are the fans, if he and they think it is because of where he plays that is some sort of hinderance.
  14. EWS - you are right. It is stupid and pedantic. Just like you are being with the Loyal Army issue. People who hear 'Loyal Army' and instantly connect it with Rangers are being a bit narrowminded and somewhat bigotted themselves don't you think? Imagine a flag with an ICT emblem with (ICT) Loyal Army on it. Would that be a problem? I'll ask again - why did St. Mirren sing it last week? Why did Cardiff fans sing it against Tottenham? Why do many fans across the UK sing it every weekend they follow their team? HC- we are referred to as Mini Rangers because half our fans support Rangers as well as ICT (or so they claim). It has nothing to do with what we sing.
  15. If Mark Brown 100% honestly believes that playing for ICT is the reason that he is not in the Scotland squad then I am afraid that really doesn't say much for the lad. He is a good keeper and is playing well. The location of Inverness has nothing to do with it.

    WARNING

If anyone is seriously worried about this then the lane they are referring to is the wee one that links Golf Road with King Street. It takes you round the back of some new houses and flats that have sprung up in the Pittodrie area.
  17. Nothing but there's probably just as much 'wrong' with singing that as there is Loyal Army. You're always going to have someone moaning about it 'not being right'.
  18. Really? St. Mirren fans were singing it the other week. Why would they do that? Cardiff fans were singing it yesterday. Why would they do that? I think to much emphasis is being placed upon the 'loyal' part of the chant.
  19. Brown would not have a significantly better chance of getting trophies or titles if he left us for Falkirk or United. At Falkirk he might get a wee bit more money but that is debateable. At United he would get more money but despite all their claims United are a middle of the league team just now. Therefore he is not really bettering himself in my opinion. Hibs or someone like Aberdeen yes. Falkirk or Dundee United - nope.
  20. Good to see one half of the Old Filth out of the Cup.
  21. That's your choice Joe. The rest of us wanted to sing so we did. Nowt wrong with that and nowt wrong with you not singing either. Every song ICT have is being used by another club so I don't see what the problem with this lack of originiality is? Chris - the 'song' is just Loyal Army! over and over and yes it was the same crew from Dundee and undeed all the Away games this season AFAIK.
  22. Mantis - I think I read somewhere that a shot against the post or bar is considered off target. Mee - love that shot of the Gravy banner :015:
  23. It's normally been: £20 Adults £15 concessions (U 16s Students OAPs etc)
