The Championship clubs themselves voted for the October start because they felt they would not be ready for the usual July / August openers. The reasons being that they didn't feel they would be in a position to adhere to requirements for training and testing until then.

100% agree with this. There may be some overlap but it's great for ICT fans to have all this stuff to listen to especially just now in the absence of football. At the end of the day we'll both probably be subsumed into The Athletic anyway...

Totally stunned that these clubs aren't falling over themselves to save Hearts after Budge said there was too many of them a few years back and wanted the league set up changed to get rid of some of them.

It doesn't. It helps Rangers and Celtic and no one else. Colts are treated like some kind of silver bullet to improve the national team but there's a plethora of reasons why Scotland isn't as good as Italy or France. Start with the coaching and facilities rather than forcing through something that has been soundly rejected time and time again by lower league sides. There's a perfectly good system in place already to develop youngsters and help lower league sides. Use the loan system rather than allowing these B teams in so Rangers and Celtic can stockpile even more young players in their ranks.

Rumours are it might be a charity away shirt this season similar to one Partick wore a few seasons back which had pink. Not sure how true that is but what I was told last month about the home kit and supplier was true. We'll see I guess.

Doubt many rumours will come to anything. Everyone is in the same position right now. Very unlikely we will sign anyone anytime soon. I think we are just going to have to wait a bit longer until we know what is happening with the league restarting, No one has a clue what is going on. Entertaining though to hear the players linked.

Lewis Spence seemed like a tidy player last season for County. I'd like to see him sign. McManus has bagged loads of goals for Falkirk this season and seems well liked there. I suspect he will end up signing for them though I wouldn't mind us getting him.

Don't worry I certainly never took it that way and it's good to get an idea of how long folk are likely to listen to a podcast without maybe wanting to pause it and pick it up again at another time. I'm sure we could easily ramble on about ICT for two hours and stick that out but if folk like pods around an hour long that would be pointless. As I say I think around an hour is a good target. Anything much longer than that and I think people would tune out a little.
