Transfer in and outs
Both have played senior football before us although Oakleys senior career seems to have had more injuries than games.

Transfer in and outs
We signed Trafford then a day or so later signed Coll Donaldson as well. Neither of these signings have been announced by the club for some reason. There was rumoured interest in Ross County youngster Greg Morrison but, as mentioned above, this move looks like it is off.

Richie Foran Has Left The Building
A six month notice period? Jesus wept.

Glebe Park
Go to Montrose and either get a taxi (about £20 one way) or get one of the buses that run to Brechin from there.

Richie Foran Has Left The Building
Get him resigned as a striker. He's probably still better than most of the forwards at the club just now.

Any notions of an SFA bias against ICT is laughable. The fact is that a lot of these referees just aren't very good, make mistakes and are very inconsistent. For a classic case of this look at Craig Thomson (Thompson?) the other week when he let a United player (Toshney) away with hauling down Calder but didn't book him only to, correctly, book one of our guys for a shirt pull. Both were yellow card offences yet only one was punished. It's nothing to do with some kind of anti ICT agenda, it's just erratic officiating.

Video footage and analysis
Lack of resource. The club was very lucky to have a group of willing volunteers to do a lot of stuff for them but now that number has, by all accounts, dwindled and the resource / time isn't there to offer the same scope of services. Whilst I've been critical about some aspects of the media team there is no doubting the good work they did in raising the profile of the club. Now some folk have moved on the output has suffered. You need only look at the dearth of tweets from the club account nowadays (We still haven't announced the signings of Donaldson and Trafford AFAIK) and unfortunately the longer video highlights that we sometimes got on YouTube are part of that reduction in output. The club has, in my view, taken advantage of the generosity of some of these folk. A social media presence is vital these days and this is something ICT need to seriously look at.

Inverness CT -V- Morton
As others have said we had the better of the first half but regressed significantly during the second. Whilst we should probably have been more than one goal up at the break Morton could and probably should have scored more than one goal in the second half so a draw was probably fair over the course of the game. And whilst most of the team also began well they also faded badly as the game went on. The likes of Chalmers was much improved compared to last weekends disgraceful showing (he wasn't the only one of course) but in the second half he was making basic errors again and giving the ball away. Perhaps only Warren and Vigurs were mostly consistent over the piece. Mckay struggled in the first half as Quitongo exploited the space in behind Seedorf, playing further forward, and Mckay playing as the right CB. He (Quitongo) probably should have set up at least one Morton goal in the first half. Second half was largely dominated by the Ton. Our best chance was probably a header from Oakley that looked like he headed it backwards away from goal and into the box rather than into the net with the keeper flailing. Really bizarre looking header. Improved from Dunfermline, though that wouldn't be hard, but we still look really, really poor over the course of a full match. Still shaky at the back with Mckay and Chalmers not looking too great and we lack any real attacking edge up front. This is now the 3rd or 4th formation that Robbo has used and with players still trying to get to know each other this constant changing can't be making things easy for them. So many are on completely different wavelengths from one another it's going to take a long time for them to click. I don't get the fawning for Trafford. He broke up play well but his forward passing was very poor and seldom found his man although that could well be down to the previous point about players not really knowing where one another is on the pitch. Like so many others in the team you really hope there is more to come from them.

Wasn't Robbo bemoaning loan fees recently particularly if a player doesn't play? Give how well stacked we are up front signing this kid seems an odd move although County fans seem to rate him highly and think he can also play wide.

IRN BRU Cup (Challenge Cup)
Aye Aberdeen have tweeted that was well (yesterday evening I think) but again no confirmation from ICT, nothing on the website. Small things like this grate and don't take a lot to fix. It really does increasingly seem like that club don't view getting information out to the fans on the website, Twitter or Facebook as important.

P and J says we're signing Greg Morrison from County. Young lad who apparently plays up front or on the wing. Couldn't make out if it's a loan or permanent deal.

Transfer in and outs
Ridgers has cost us a goal a game almost over the last few weeks. He's been exceptionally poor.

Team for Morton
I'm expecting 352 tomorrow. Ridgers Mckay Warren Chalmers Seedorf Polworth Vigurs Trafford Calder Baird Oakley

Transfer in and outs
I'm sure we'll get an announcement from the club in the coming weeks...

Tactics Thread
I'm expecting something similar to the line up CJ posted for the game tomorrow. No Raven though with Polworth taking his place in a 3-5-2 line up.

Interesting to see no sign of Fon Williams in the team photos. Looks like he has been well and truly exiled from the squad.

IRN BRU Cup (Challenge Cup)
Yeah the SPFL gives the club some cash to help with costs.

Transfer in and outs
According to this piece in the Courier we're not looking to sign Donaldson: http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/Sport/Football/John-Robertson-Its-up-to-us-to-lift-the-mood-of-Caley-Thistle-supporters-17082017.htm Has he just rocked up and stuck on an ICT kit to appear in the team photo?!

ICTFC Open Night
Good point. It would be useful if someone or a group could act as a conduit for remote fans to raise issues at the meeting.

ICTFC Open Night
Largely agree with Charles here. Plenty of folk have been on here moaning, myself included about things at the club in recent weeks and months. Surely we can muster up 120 people to head along to this event and express their concerns despite the short notice? if not it will only serve to strengthen the notion that a lot of people are happy to piss and moan about stuff they don't like but not do anything about it when afforded the opportunity. So if you're annoyed about season ticket prices, the Pride of the Highlands badge, the poor communication through Twitter and Facebook or whatever it may be this is your chance to speak up about it. If you can't be bothered to do so then don't bother complaining about these things in the future.

Obviously that's not what I'm saying. The manager will be set a budget by the Chairman and then he is largely free to do with that what he wishes. Hughes, Foran etc. will have been given £X for signings/wages etc and then it's up to them to use that money as they saw fit. Why would Cameron get involved and say no to signing whoever it was Hughes or Foran wanted in. That would surely indicate he didn't trust them and I can't imagine either would have liked that. In the case of those two managers it is hard to argue, with hindsight, that the vast majority of signings that made was money spent wisely. I'm obviously not saying that our managers had free reign to offer whatever they wanted to players. If some utterly ludicrous offer is put forward by the manager then someone like Cameron might say hold on a minute and query whether signing player X on daft cash per week is a good move but by and large the managers at ICT have generally worked with little interference from the Chairman. Again, what exactly is it you are wanting Cameron to be saying no to? If you are saying that he should have stepped in to veto some of the signings that were made then that would led to outcry amongst supporters that the Chairman is dictating who should or shouldn't be signed and essentially undermine the manager which is not something I think should happen and I don't think that would sit well with fans of ICT.

IRN BRU Cup (Challenge Cup)
Has it been confirmed that it's in Peterhead? They played their previous round at Brechin but some folk have said that the Aberdeen U20s move their games about. ETA: Given Peterhead are also at home in this same competition I would be surprised if it is at Balmoor.
