  1. Robertson had Chalmers and Calder swapped round last weekend so I think he's finally seen that Calder is better further forward. I would expect us to continue that way. Robbo isn't getting any of the Draper fee to spend sadly. Just the wages freed up
  2. Again, do you think he would have made those comments had it not been for our statement saying he requested a transfer acting like he instigated the move? Regardless, a lot of what he says is sadly true.
  3. I suspect his comments were strongly influenced by our clubs statement.
  4. First time I've seen JR confirm that Raven is / was the "unnamed" high earner they were trying to shift.
  5. Some interesting words from Draper here: http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/Sport/Football/New-Ross-County-signing-Ross-Draper-claims-Caley-Thistle-board-told-him-to-submit-transfer-request-to-complete-move-10082017.htm So apparently even though the club had already accepted the offer to make it look like they had no choice they got Draper to demand a transfer. Brilliant (!) Whilst normally I would say there are two sides to every story my trust in anything to do with ICT is so low right now I wouldn't believe them if they said the sky was blue. Why should we just move on? Yet again this appears to be the latest in a long series of cock ups by the club. Questions have to be asked of them. I find it incredible that some fans just want to "move on". I have significant reservations about the way this club is being run at the minute with this Draper saga the latest in a pretty lamentable last few months.
  6. Because right now my trust in the club couldn't be any lower and I don't really trust anything that comes from them. The same person who told me about Robbo coming in as manager a day or so before he did along with some of the other transfers that have been made this summer. Regardless, to me it's pretty simple. Either he requested a transfer or he didn't. ICT have claimed that he did yet on the back of press conferences today we have a journalist saying that there is clearly more to this than meets the eye which doesn't really leave many other options to explore. ETA: Draper believes that his name has been "dragged through the mud" and that the club asked him to submit a "notification of his desire to leave".
  7. Draper didn't submit a transfer request but for some reason the club is saying that he did. As SO says below maybe that is to appease the fans but it just makes the club look stupid that they're having to make stuff up.
  8. Legends and Charlie Ds are the stadium bars. The former is bigger, has more TVs etc whilst the latter is smaller and has live bands playing pre match. Apparently both get really busy before a game so if you are trying to get in after 1330 you'll likely be standing.
  9. I'm on my mobile so I'm not sure if this will work but this Tweet might shed some light on matters... That seems to have worked but if not basically it appears that the ICT statement about Draper requesting a transfer and forcing the move is not true at all. Put simply, the club have lied to us. Charles Bannerman spoke to Robbo earlier and I think it was touched on there but I'm not certain.
  10. Allegedly we can now add fabricating players asking for transfers to the sorry list.
  11. Exactly, no point talking about it and querying why the guy who was being made out to be one of our leading players to get us back up this season has been sold to our rivals. That's the kind of attitude the board of this club love. Stick your head in the sand, don't question anything, keep paying your money and coming along to games.
  12. Don't disagree with a lot of what you say but I can't agree with this. Any time I have gone into the shop, whilst it is pretty embarrassing, the folk in there have always been polite and helpful. I've never felt like I was an inconvenience at all.

There is something on the club website but I am surprised that neither Facebook or Twitter have an update linking to this story. I know it's not much but those sites are modern day communication methods. To neglect them is strange especially when we have been so quick to make use of them in the past. I sympathise with the club to a degree on your other point as you rightly point out there was little bounce from the cup win but I do wonder what was done to capitalise on it? I can't recall if the club did anything to build on that success or not? Certainly there was a good crowd at the Astra tie in Inverness which was great to see but league games didn't really see much improvement crowd wise which was a real shame. That's really poor indeed.
  14. Sadly I'd imagine those clubs have a bigger average attendance than us as Championship clubs.

Two of the clubs main communication channels, Twitter and Facebook, have been neglected in recent weeks (I've not checked this morning but last night neither were carrying news of the Draper story). It seems that not just communication with fans but modern day communication with the fans is something that those upstairs at the club have yet to grasp.
  16. No one is saying there aren't faults on the part of the board / management. That's obvious. But you're making out like Draper has been hard done by when he clearly hasn't. He was one of the top earners at the club and one a long term deal compared to most and was held in high regard by the management. Contrast that to someone like OFW who has been completely frozen out at the club. Instead of showing some loyalty and trying to help get the club back up to the Premiership, similar to Foran, Rooney etc in 09/10 but instead he's forced a move to our local rivals and folk are understandably unhappy about it. I see no reason whatsoever to wish the guy well in the future and he's fair game for criticism for this move.
  17. Was there not also meant to be some sort of fans / players / managers event before the season started? That seems to have gone quiet.
  18. Couple of things missing - letting players find out via Twitter (Meekings) or the papers (McNaughton) that they weren't getting new contracts and some laughable attempts at covering up our mistakes over the summer. I'm sure Duncan Shearer will have been delighted to have an U12 tournament named after him as he signed on.
  19. The absolute state of some of our fans being happy for Draper. He's moved to our rivals. Even worse he's forced a move to our rivals by demanding a transfer. At a time when you wanted the leaders in the team to take the bull by the horns and try and lead the team to something resembling a promotion fight he's jumped ship to Ross County of all teams. and folk say they're happy for him!? Aye, okay then. As renegade says it's not like he was struggling financially or anything unless he's been taking gambling tips from Lewis Horner. As far as I'm concerned, thanks for your effort for the last few years but that's it. I don't wish him well at all. Can't help but feel if the board showed some balls and punted Foran after Accies romped to that 3-0 win we might not be in this situation.
  20. If that's true that absolutely pathetic I see the club aren't bothering to update Facebook or Twitter with this news either. Might explain a lot.
  21. Could even be argued that wasn't even Butchers last team given the events of that day!
  22. Thought he was decent against United but I can't remember how he played against Forfar
  23. Lack of commitment from Draper on Saturday? I must have imagined him battering through United players to win back lost balls. I agree he's not been at his best over the last few months but honestly who in an ICT shirt has been? Last season was utterly farcical for so many reasons and I would be wary of writing off a players importance to us based on what was one of the most chaotic periods in our recent history.
  24. I think there was just no one available to do updates.
