  1. It's just over four weeks until the League Cup groups kick off and we seriously need to get the finger out. Some of the other sides in the Championship are making some impressive looking signings already. The sooner we get a manager in the better so we can start getting some players in ourselves.
  2. If you want any news on the pre season fixtures looks like you should check out the Caley Thistle website Inverness Courier: http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/Sport/Football/We-want-to-stay-on-Caley-Thistle-coach-Kellacher-07062017.htm Forres (A) 01/07 Brora (A) 04/07 Nairn (A) 07/07 Elgin (A) 08/07 Any other games?
  3. Inverness Courier talking of £20,000 to Aberdeen to pay for his services. http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/Sport/Football/Barry-Wilson-backs-old-pal-Paul-Sheerin-to-bring-good-times-back-to-Caley-Thistle-if-he-gets-the-job-08062017.htm
  4. No real substance to this but apparently Sheerin is on the verge of becoming manager: https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/aberdeen-fc/1263245/paul-sheerin-verge-becoming-new-caley-thistle-boss/?utm_source=twitter
  5. Nothing about pushing the new strips or season tickets either. I know that the latter have caused some uproar but normally the club Twitter keeps publicising an event or important info every day or so. It's like everything at the club has just been put on hold just now. Really strange.
  6. Agree. Sending out renewals leading to all round criticism of prices then no one seemingly around to provide any clarification or answers to fans is bizarre. They literally just posted the forms off and seemingly expected everyone will just go "Oh aye I'll renew no bother". It's as if they didn't expect folk to react the way many have done.
  7. http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/News/Inverness-Caley-Thistle-fans-fume-over-season-ticket-prices-06062017.htm Doesn't say much more than we already know but again no one from the club available for comment which is slightly odd. Nothing from the club on Twitter in 5 days now (I know the main Tweeter has stepped down) but it just seems like there is a complete vacuum at the club right now. Very strange. Don't recall this before.
  8. In amongst the Paul Sheerin story is some info on why Meekings was released. Apparently the club considered it unlikely that we could afford to keep him although they might try again over the summer. http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/Sport/Football/Caley-Thistle-hold-preliminary-talks-with-Paul-Sheerin-over-managers-job-05062017.htm
  9. Erm, they're six weeks away aren't they?
  10. Good to see that Liam Keogh is still an absolute dreamboat.

Nick Ross was at Storehouse yesterday. Obviously back at the weekend to sign a new deal with ICT today.
  12. That 03/04 team was one of the best, if not the best, ICT side I've ever had the pleasure of watching. They would have destroyed this season mess with ease.
  13. Agree. Coverage of the Superbowl was weird but I'd say it's balanced out by some of the comedy football tweets (The Meekings cracking save Tweet for example) which gathered a lot of attention for the club. Shame but hopefully the other guys can step in and pick things up.
  14. It seems that one of the main tweeters has left their post. Shame no one else was able to step in. I'm in no way having a go at the club about this but given how important social media is these days I was surprised not to see any activity on the ICT account about the competition. Some of the stuff has been a bit cringe over the years but for the most part it's a good account to follow and the club has become quite well known for it. Shame if things do go a bit quieter on this front in the future.
  15. Why wasn't the club tweeting about the draw? Has something happened to the media team that we aren't being told about?
  16. I think it's quite interesting that the folk who are, at least on Twitter anyway, disgusted that Foran was canned are the same ones celebrating Cameron leaving the club. Seems like they can't see the link between the two...
  17. Was Laing really that good? I just thought he was okay. Had some good games but as ICTChris has pointed out in another thread he was also in the side for some of the utter pumpings and shambolic performances we witnessed.
  18. An interesting read on Stevie Aitken at Dumbarton and whether he might be a good fit for ICT. http://auchterarderchippy.com/2017/06/02/stretching-a-shoestring-does-stevie-aitken-deserve-a-shot-at-a-full-time-club/
  19. Sad to read that but I find myself in a similar boat. As Hislop notes the prices dropped by around £100 when we were relegated last time. To have no reduction at all this time round is really quite surprising. I'd imagine walk up prices will remain largely the same next season. You need only look at the crowd that was there for the Hamilton game a few weeks before the end of the season to see just how much attendances at the ground have fallen in the last wee while. There couldn't have been 2,000 people there that day and if the club continues to charge Premiership level prices for ST and match day tickets I'd expect more crowds like the one we got against Hamilton throughout 17/18.

We did win seven corners though. Not many teams can say they did that against Celtic (!)
