why do managers constantly complicate football. surely when the away team arrive here and see us playing one striker they are delighted . no one will tell me centre backs do not have a far easier job facing this system. in the press the day before the game craig was emphasising how important it was for us as the home team to take the game to united . well apart from after they scored we did not play with anywhere near the urgency required . i do not think it is asking to much at home to play two up front and have two natural wide players in midfield . i do not know is it just me but the majority of our substitutions are a reaction when we lose a goal. it would be great to see a more possitive approach before this happens . craig is doing a fine job but at times i feel he is a bit stubborn when he hears the fans calling for a change.

russel is and has been a very important player for us . to lose him would be a blow but the club cannot go down the road of paying wages they cannot afford . we need look no further than livi, dundee,dunfermline, partick and others who refused to live within their means . marius is a one of and to attract a player of his quality a special deal had to be struck. no way this could be repeated across the board.

yet again we take a player from another club who was going nowhere career wise. lets not forget phil was not even getting a game for the pars in the first division. reminds me of dodds all over again. he should realise like others before him it is playing for our club surrounded by quality teamates that has improved his game and not the other way round. i say take or leave the offer and we will see how many so called big clubs are queing for his signature.

top man caff. i believe you were one off the clubs best ever signings . without you i doubt we would have reached the s p l so quickly . you are without doubt an unsung hero , a gentleman and will be missed.

anyone doubting whether we should keep phil need only look at our results when he has played . offhand i think it is played 10 won 7 drawn 1 lost 2. you would be hard pushed to bring in anyone who could better that on our budget.

mark browns save low to the left in our scottish cup tie at love street 5 years ago. saints totally dominated the game but marks saves helped us to a 1 nil win. mikes save was brilliant but it is always harder for a keeper to save a well hit low shot or header.

immes New Roman]michael totally out off order . considering some of his **** ups this season you would think he would be a bit more humble . i personally think it sums up the majority of our players attitude to our support . how many acknowledge the crowd at home games when they take to the pitch? ill tell you 3 at the most. brewster should fine him and tell the players to watch how the other clubs show appreciation for their support be it home or away .

regarding the guy who wishes we had 11 baynes well i tell you this it is the third division we would be playing in not the s. p. l . if you think back to the first four matches after craigs return we played superb football . why ? because we had two forwards who play the ball on the ground dennis and marius . anyone who even tries to compare bayne and marius knows little about football.
