  5. Perfect then for a club that includes Caledonian and Thistle in its name to win it then.... Is this finally the year? :thumb04:
  6. I like the Maglia Antares design: Top - white - red shoulder flashes - black short sleeve edge flashes - thin black collar line Shorts - all black Socks - all Red Without the blue then the design does not look like anything Ibrox related and falls in line with the old caley white away top with a jags touch - a bit like one of the old ICT away tops - CD I am sure you could knock it together with your design skills....
  7. Cristiano Ronaldo escaped unharmed after writing off his Ferrari yesterday - rumours are that he dived from car before it hit the barrier! The first thing he said to the police was that the wall was not 10 yrds away! Alex Ferguson is claiming that Ferrari does not give Ronaldo enough protection. Witnesses at the scene of Ronaldo's crash say he was only lightly tapped from behind, when all of a sudden the car flipped and rolled over 10 times!! Apparently witnesses in other cars who saw the incident, said that Ronaldo's car was accelerating towards the tunnel, when it suddenly and inexplicable seemed to flip over, with absolutely no contact with any other vehicles. The police arrived, and immediately following directions from Ronaldo, arrested the nearest car driver. Police are investigating why a player voted the worlds best, and earns ?140,000 per week cannot take a corner. "Anyway he was all right, he was walking, added the witness?, confirming that Ronaldo is the only man in Manchester who walks away from massive car smash but spends five minutes writhing in agony if someone pulls his socks down!

  17. If no Black then maybe we will see Elliott on the bench
  18. As Aristotle once said "one swallow does not make a summer" but as stated on another thread I do seriously believe the winter transfers made by the bottom SPL clubs will be the major factor in determining who goes down. Ok yesterday it was Partick Thistle (who are currently only a first division side albeit at the right end of the table and playing well this season) but we did get a home win and kept a clean sheet - which after 11 home league games and only one win is a minor success. There has been a lot said on the website since his appointment and having been unsure about his appointment in the first place and then being neither fully pro or anti Brewster since, I do though currently believe that changing any of the managers at the helm of the bottom clubs now will not improve anything as this is a very tight league this season and St.Mirren have shown what a few wins strung together can do (though they could be still be relegated if they don't continue to perform). I don't think there is anybody associated with the club either inside or on the terraces who don't recognise that the playing staff at the club needs to be refreshed further and now is the perfect time to make a serious attempt to do that and I am glad that the club is looking at several new faces coming in. If we have to carry a slightly larger than normal squad until the summer then I think that is what will have to happen as one or two additions will not be enough as the similar quality of the squads around us means we have to see an improvement in all areas of the team to ensure a better performance in the second half of the season. Here's hoping that we will put together a number of wins on the back of yesterday's result and move us up the league. Herr Brewster January could be your month, yesterday could be your Nottingham Forest match and Morais your Mark Robins. Please prove that is the case.
  19. Worrying isn't it....here's hoping that we will have a couple of good signings coming in but I just can't see it happening at present....
  20. Falkirk 1-1 (1 pt) Hearts 0-1 (0 pt) Kilmarnock 1-2 (3 pt) Celtic 1-0 (0 pt) Dundee Utd 1-3 (0 pt) St.Mirren 2-0 (0 pt) Aberdeen 0-3 (0 pt) Motherwell 3-2 (0 pt) Rangers 0-3 (0 pt) Seems I was extremely over optimistic with my 11 point prediction - 4 points were all that was achieved. With Motherwell's win over Hearts last night it looks like it will be down to one of three - ICT, Falkirk and Hamilton - to take the drop. The signings made over the January period by all 3 clubs will be crucial....
  21. Any word on the potential new kit?
  22. Indeed - more accurate would probably be Herr Obergruppenfuhrer....but 1983 was a long time ago.... :thumb04: Unfortunately back to the initial topic though - what is the latest news on the upcoming meeting....?
  23. Herr Bannerman there could be another book in this for you.... :thumb04: ;) :018:
  24. Brewster?
  25. He'll be off as well then....Merry Christmas indeed....
