  1. ? surplus to requirements, failed to impress, paint it any way you like, still waiting for quality even on par with what players are leaving/left moving to reduce wage costs, moving to recoup transfer fees, moving to get first team football, like you say it can be painted in many ways and is not always indicative of whether they can play football or not! i agree with what you say that we are still waiting for quality replacements and we are in dire need of them but think we shouldnt be too hasty in writing off players without them being given a fair chance. ICT have benefitted in the past by taking on 'rejects' on more than one occasion ie. Dods, Brown, Robson, Wyness, Dargo to name but a few so maybe we should hold off to see if they are capable or not. your right they deserve a chance but if we've unearthed a dods, brown, robson, wyness or dargo then i'm the pope. will be happy to be wrong though

  3. hibs , chester and partick thistle rejects, way to go board, great investment targets to get us out of the ****
  4. soak him in wd40 for 6 months and send him to county as player boss and he could do a relegation job on them
  5. harry chibber and spectre are entitled to their opinion. there's always a few who cant see the wood for the trees. life would be so boring if everyone agreed. just watch your backs for the men in white coats guys but keep up the good work on here, most entertaining
  6. the hibs gans haven't been so happy since they loaned us zibby which is a tad worrying. in our predicament we need to see some real signings that will play for the jersey and strive to keep us in the league
  7. think at this stage, hamilton have done the better business with their two old firm loan signings, especially the boy mcgovern off celtic
  8. would be a nice touch if our club followed hamiltons lead in free tickets for their fans v county for us here given the importance of the game and calls for support and better p.r. etc. cough hint splutter
  9. amen
  10. Absolutely. As well as the potential financial benefits, getting past this game should also boost morale and confidence - that's a far bigger issue than fitness at the moment, IMO. I don't think we should worry too much about "fighting on two fronts" if we go further in the cup and are involved in a relegation battle. Maybe we'll even find out what our best team is... Hopefully Rooney will get a start on Saturday though. rooney may start if his number comes up in brewsters weekly game of striker lotto. i have serious misgivings about winning this one. it will mean having to string two results together if we're gonna win the 6 pointer v hamilton and the chances of that are slim to no chance
  11. wouldn't make too much of the turnout. the meeting to discuss the proposed groundshare at pittodrie and therefore promotion to the spl had a similar turnout and that was a pretty big event in the clubs history
  12. are you county in disguise?
  13. its anyones guess really but if we start one up front v partick i'm going home
  14. an improved performance on previous pish to the extent that if we play like that again v hamilton, we'll lose. again .
  15. that was a horrible game to watch imo, not just from a football sense but just the looking at the evidence that brewster has succeeded in destroying a team that i would always fancy to beat anyone on their day. i now expect only to lose. cheers brewster gtf
  16. Well spotted, obviously Malkie was just saying what the fans supposedly want to hear. there's only two words we want to hear from brewster and malky. we resign
  17. we'll be 6 adrift of hamilton soon if brewsters still here. still no crisis here eh malky.
  18. ill just be glad if we wont have to listen to the "theres 3 teams tied at the bottom, its not like we're isolated" speech again. brewster gtf
  19. la la la la la la. i cant hear you. what crisis
  20. On top of the reasons you quote, we have lost Black and Wilson, we might lose Cowie, we have a management team that have lost the dressing room(apparently) we have a board that have lost touch with the fans and the major shareholder that has publicly gone against the supporters trust, apart from the negatives you point out where are the positives Wilson was a great servant to ICT but the management i'm sure thought logically that letting him go will free up money to bring in a younger and potentially better player. Black was lured to Tynecastle by more money and playing for his boy hood club... who wouldn't say no to that!? Yes ICT might lose Cowie... Rangers are interested in him... that shows his standard. I don't see how the management could be blamed for Cowie potentially leaving to a bigger club/better wages!? The major sharehold that went against the supporters trust... well thats just terrible! He should no better than to go against the Supporters trust!!!! I'd be more worried if he went against the team! ICT aren't done yet... EVERT team (outside OF) at some point in the SPL go through a relegation scrap season.. and it had to happen at some point. Luckily for ICT that this is happening for a few teams this season, and Brewster has the courage to give the youth a chance and improve their game for the teams long term prospects. The board are making money available and new faces (Pressley for example) look like they will be coming in to bolster the team. we've no chance of attracting enough quality players to match the standard the teams at now, let alone once black and cowie etc go due to our position of disarray, our clown in the dugout and our arrogant gutless board
  21. worded it badly ! the fact you have to go back to 2007 to find any positives says it all. you are clearly deluded and/or on the wind up.
  22. how does beating celtic over a year ago consitute a good run. presumably one home win all season makes the tcs a fortress? the players have been getting the support at home, were you at the aberdeen game?, it made no difference, we're a shambles. wakey wakey, we are falling apart and no amount of vocal backing will fix it
  23. that should be the slogan for promoting season tickets under brewster. fact is one or two games dont make 300 quid or more worth it especially since there's not one game a sell out
  24. aye he go one of dennis the menace but exchanged that for rodger the dodger and also got one of the numbskulls as a present to the board
  25. pity our local press are clueless
