You're entitled to your opinion but I'll be making no apologies for how I feel and how that has been expressed. I'm not suggesting that he'd do against all opposition, just seems a bit too convenient that most basic of tactical blunders in defence can occur against the team that he loves. Call me cynical but I don't think Brewster was too disappointed to see his team win. Did you hear his comments on Conway? Obviously as I have vented my frustration on a message board in the way that I have, that therefore must mean I have a limited vocabulary

What we missed was a right back playing in the right back position. Brewster knew Conway would be played on their left wing, so why was Proctor not used effectively? The claim of "I didn't want to make two changes" doesn't wash I'm afraid. IMO Brewster lay us down to be walked over by his beloved yinited. You can f*ck right off Brew
  3. OK, so if he's so good at spotting talent then explain Djebi-Zadi, McGuire, Barrowman, the possibility of signing Richie Byrne, the fact that he told Rankin he was surplus to requirements?
  4. Firstly apologies to the OP and the mods for taking this a little off topic. DBS you are quite clearly smoking something. In what way has he brought a new level of professionalism? Do you even understand what that means? What was wrong with the "professionalism" before Brewster arrived (again)? So far he has had three good signings in Esson, Rooney and Imrie. He has signed three non-footballers in Djebi-Zadi, Barrowman and McGuire. He has got rid of Rankin, Park, Wyness and Bayne. In what way does this constitute building a good team for the future? I can't even begin to comprehend how you've arrived at these conclusions... Do you honestly think that one person has created multiple accounts to post a similar opinion about a no-hope manager? I'm no psychologist, but I'd call that paranoid schizophrenia.
  5. Brewster beaming over Conway on Saturday suggests that not all of us have ICT's best interests at heart...
  6. 1) No he has not "proved" he can spot talent. Law of averages indicates that if you take enough folk on trial you'll occasionally come up with a gem. 2) I'll give you that one. 3) Pity he can't show this "passion" at home isn't it?...
  7. What if the BoD were to renew Brewsters contract?... Although not as a manager, as DoF. That way we won't be too out of pocket as Bennet obviously isn't earning a penny from the club (5th Stand ) and we'd only have to pay off Malky.

Both Brewster and Malky have proved that between them they can't even accidentally get it right. Like I said on the other thread, anyone to replace them. Personally, I'd like to see John Robertson with Bazza as assistant.
  9. Prove otherwise
  10. Anyone is a better manager than Brewster.
  11. Brewster is killing our club. It's as simple as that. He has no idea about how to start a game. Did his UEFA Pro License teach him to swap RB and CB in the starting line-up? Or does he play Football Manager the night before, and if the tactics work there then he sticks it on the team sheet for the real thing? Does he use a tombola system for picking tactics? Or are we crediting him with far too much here and he really just creates something that resembles a game plan? How can so many people see something is wrong but the board cannot? Despite the loss today I bet Brewster and Bennet are in the Heathmount slapping each others backs and having a right good laugh. It's pretty clear that Brewster will not resign. It is therefore up to the board to pull their finger out and get rid of Brewster and Thomson. If they do not, they risk even less money than ICT have at the moment as more and more fans decide to vote with their feet. It will also show them up to be the spineless, self preserving, indecisive fat cats that most would perceive them to be. Make no mistake about it, the board cannot justify extending Brewsters contract.
  12. That's a nice pedantry hat you've got on...
  13. You're absolutely right 5th Stand lets not talk about anything ever again since it's never the fans responsibility to deal with the issues... I believe Vigurs to be a similar player to Black, albeit a slightly more attacking player. Wilsons direct replacement would be Zander. I'm not fussed about losing Fraser - Face it, we could replace him quite easily. Leaving Cowie, who would indeed be the most difficult to replace.
  14. Well that's what he should be getting now. Yes that's mature. :thumb04: Care to argue your point in adult manner?
  15. Well that's what he should be getting now.

Can anyone think on how Rangers can receive anything from the Euros?
  17. Seconded. 'Thirded' What ridiculous salary is that then? Evidence please. Anything more than voluntary work would be ridiculous. Here to help :thumb04:

You make a good point. I was under the impression that the only two SPL teams that were represented at the Euros were us and Celtic... Rangers had zero players there...
  19. Seconded.
  20. At least Bennets pulled the finger out eventually... I'm not too worried, ICT have a habbit of putting a stupidly low offer out on the first deal of the cards. Remember how long it took Duncan to sign and how many revised offers were given to him? Not sure what to make of Cowie not even wanting to talk until January though... There's a good chance he'll be off I think. If we were to lose both Black and Cowie, there would be a full scale riot.

  24. One of the few times I ever have and ever will say this but well done Brew... I feel dirty now
  25. He hasn't organised a new contract for one of our most valuable players? Surely if lack of money was the issue, get him on a new contract and Blacks value soars... It's not rocket science. Our DoF is involved in the recruiting the players that Brewster has identified as targets, and renewing the contracts of players currently playing for us [that Brewster has identified as targets]. Think about this for a second. We are hardly inundated with players coming for trials or in talks with the club about joining permanently. Bennet has had very little to do on the player recruitment front so if he hasn't been renewing contracts, just what exactly has he been doing? Editted that for you. I haven't been privvy to his contract, have you? While I don't like Brewster, I am prepared to credit him with some intelligence. He will already know he is an unpopular person amongst the ICT support and would not want to risk further embarrasment by letting arguably our best asset leave the club for nothing. The obvious fault in this scenario appears to be a fat cats laziness.
