Brewster is the man for the job
Well that's exactly the problem. Does he have the clubs best interests at heart? There's no doubting what he's done for the club in the past, but how much of that benefitted him and his business?... Let's not forget he appointed Brewster against the fans will. Yes the polls asked either Brewster or Warnock, but if it was any other name, I still don't believe Brewster would have been the popular vote. Sutherland has surrounded himself with yes-men at the club and it's about time something changed...

Great idea! You'd still be better at the job than Bennet!

Talking tactics
This is a good post. Even Bayne/Rooney. The "new broom" policy on strikers was an enormous mistake. Heard at the weekend from a very reliable source that after the contract had been agreed, Brew withdrew the contract from Dennis, when he failed to score in the 20 minutes of his last game. Dennis had a satisfactory deal with St.Mirren before the week was out. badbadbad Also what I had heard but began to question this after all the "blame the agent" talk...

Brewster is the man for the job
To be honest, I don't blame him.

New Kits
What about the Barca red and blue that we know everyone loves? The away shirt should be the same design but with black and white (like the pars shirt) this way we will have equal proportions from Caley and Thistle.

Brewster is the man for the job
I'd be delighted to see Robbo back in our dugout! Better than the neep we have at the moment anyway...

ICT -V- Hearts : matchday thread
He is ultimately behind everything that is wrong with the club at this moment in time. Anyone know any millionaires in Inverness who may be interested in an investment opportunity?

What will his excuse be this time?

I had enough at the end of last season, hence no season ticket this season. Brewster must go!

Brewster is the man for the job
In his previous spell ay ICT, Brewster got the team fit. Nothing more, nothing less. He had inherited a team that already worked well together and he improved their fitness. This proves nothing other than his undoubted ability as a fitness coach. His goals also helped - Something he can't do now. On the flip side of his "ability" to find players (I'd call it luck) he also signed Djebi-Zadi from a German amateur team and chased Barrowman for a ridiculous length of time. So far I have seen little evidence to justify the length of time we chased him for.

Brewster is the man for the job
Care to back up your statements with the facts or are you quite content to leave your ill-informed opinions at that?...
-
Why not just enjoy it ?
My second well presented, reasoned point merely followed on from the first. If you say the following: You are suggesting that anyone who calls for the manager to leave are less of a fan than you are. Therefore, your "opinion" is, in its entirity, pish.

Respect
Are you serious ? Sorry, not getting at you, but please name me one player from the modern era who could/can play in every position on the field .... and lets make it a tad easier and say every outfield position. Jim Calder...

Why not just enjoy it ?
So because I don't want Brewster in charge, I am therefore less of a fan that you are? What worries me is you might actually believe half the pish you post... :thumb04:

Team fer Jam Tarts
Because Hastings is guff, Zadi is even worse and McBain is the only reasonable footballer we have capable of playing in that role. Why not give Djebi-Zadi a chance I hear you ask? Because the only ability he posesses is he can run fast. He can't kick a ball, he can't tackle and he closes his eyes when he jumps for a header. County released him, that should tell you everything you need to know FFS! The German team he was playing for were an amateur team! We should never have signed him in the first place.

Team fer Jam Tarts
completely agree with you with you about barrowman. can't believe we chased this guy. the problem is though we cant play wood and rooney together as they are too similar so i feel we're forced into playing barrowman if we want to play two up front. I wouldn't mind as much if he scored goals - a bit like a poor mans Kris Boyd, but he simply isn't doing anything!

Team fer Jam Tarts
--------------Esson---------------- Proctor---Duff---Munro---McBain Cowie---Black---Vigurs----Imrie --------Rooney--Barrowman----- I'd watch Barrowman very closely if he starts as I have a funny feeling he's fast becoming a passenger in our team. The fact that we chased this useless waste of space for the whole summer makes a mockery of our team. Get Duff back in the team and drop Tokely. Drop Hastings, and drop Duncan.

Zander
I thought his contract runs out at Xmas though...

Ritchie Bryne
Ah yes, my apologies. Add Rory to the list.

Its the old boy network If thats the reason then it is very worrying, but I find it hard to believe that brew would put himself under more pressure by taking in a player he didnt feel he was good enough just because he is a mate It's a blatant example of "jobs for the boys". Because Brewster knows he's chums with those above him, he'll probably get away with it as well! I see plenty of harm in taking a look at him. Hastings and Tokely are world beaters compared to him. If we sign him, we will have two useless examples of footballers at our club, Djebi-Zadi being the other.

Why not just enjoy it ?
We have demonstrated on numerous occasions that we are capable of producing top class displays. Easter Road on Saturday being a fine example of this - The only thing (IMO) that Brewster did wrong was playing Imrie and Cowie on the wrong wings. At the moment ICT are not doing as well as I know they can do. Folk like yourself and "mainstander" coming on here and telling us that we should sit down, shut up and just be happy to be in the SPL don't make the situation any better.

Why not just enjoy it ?
Please accept my humble apologies for wanting the club to do better...

Ritchie Bryne
I thought we could sign him now but the offical site says we cant sign him as he has played for Oldham this season so he cant sign to January I could be wrong but as far as I was aware, free-agents can be signed up at any time. I can only guess that he has not been released by Oldham then. The point is, we shouldn't even be looking at him to discuss whether we could sign him or not!

If his contract has expired and he has been released then he is a free agent and we could sign him before January. I am frankly disgusted we even have him on trial and can only pray that we don't sign him.
