For those going tomorrow planning on singing, where are you all going?
  2. OK point taken, can we stop talking about this now. its clear that there will be no leway here so lets just get on with supporting the club.
  3. Chelsea are not a football club, their an advertisment. Hes better off away from that place.

Alot of my peers seem to have abandoned Caley latley and denied ever supporting them, yet I distnctly remember them wearing replica kits and going to the games, I don't class most OF fans as football fans as they only support the teams because they are wealthy. A real footballl fan is someone who follows a team with passion even if they lose their first siz games, because when they finally win its an amazing rush. Most of these people make excuses for who they support like "half my family are from Glasgow" It makes me sick that these people call themselfs fans. What really gets me is that there is a Rangers shop in the Eastgate but zero presence of a Caley shop, you can't even buy a replica top in any shops in Inverness apart from at the stadium. It can't be that bad in Inverness that people need t latch on to Glasgow who in my opinion are not the best place to base yourself upon.
  5. and heres me thinking our powers that be were too far with the west stnad thing. It just goes to show you how horribly commercial, fake and money orientated football is becoming.

Judging by the statement made by the club yesterday any attempt to make some noise and show the players who are out on that feild working their *** off will be punished :023: But seriously some encouragment to clearly nervious players will lift their morale and help them score, somethuing that rarly happens at our games these days.
  7. In all honesty that statement made by the club seemed to be talking down to the fans, a complete no no! this club would be nothing without its fans. The events of the Arbroath game have also been blown way out of proportion. There was NOT major crowd trouble, although thre was a misunderstanding nbetween stewerds and a small group of fans I fail to see how it should result in the regulations of the singing section being tightened. It is a bad move by a club who I feel right now are in no position to treat their fans like that.

Deano has been great for the reserves and the way I see it is that he deserves a start on Saturday. He has proved himself more than any other striker this season.

ICT because Scotland are just the old firm in disguise.
  10. Will the BBC post the draw on their site?
  11. One thing I noticed about Brew is that he is constantly shouting at the team and praises them through claps and such, something CC never really did, he seemed way too laid back.

    I didn't go anywhere though :007:
  13. Can someone please explain the concept of seeded and unseeded?

I spoke to one of the nice ladies in the club shop at the game on Tuesday night and she said that they were supposed to recive confermation at the end of the month and they havent so keep waiting folks.
  15. I know I already posted what happened last night but I've had a good nights sleep (was up at half five yesterday morning with a six hour round trip to Aberdeen taking place that day). The singin Section was roughly half full of fans, most of whom stood for most of the game. A stewerdappeared approximatly 65 minutes into the game and stood at the front of the sand, I thought he was telling people to sit down. I may have been wrong, A section of the stand did chant derogatory chants at the stewerd, the police came and ejected somsone, a group of the tfans left in protest. I may be wrong here but the same stewerd was exchanging banter with some people in the satnd, encouraging us to sing just before the end of the game. This is my account of last nights events, I may be wrong and please correct me if I am. I hope all you old timers on here don't think of those in the singing section last night as youbs, we were just enjoying the game we paid money to see the the winning ways of the team we love. We were not doing any harm, we were in a completly different section of the stadium to the family fans so any saucy chants would not ahve offended anyone. The stand was not even full so were not blocking anybodys veiw.If the stand was full of other people who paid money for their seat but did not wish to stand ad we were blocking their veiw then fair enough but I feel the stand should have just been left to it.
  16. The way I see it though is that these lads should be encouraged to come to the games, because if they are watching football then they arn't commiting mindless acts of violence, drinking or taking drugs, instead we have fat men on a power trip driving them away. Its ridiculus and a very short sighted way to deal with the future of the club's fanbase.
  17. Was in the singing section, long story short fans were standing, not causing any problems, a bored stewerd came along to tell us all to sit down and he was ignored, two police came and grabbed a random and dragged him out. The stand was otherwise good, lots of young blood sining and having fun. I think that it was appauling the way the young fans of the club were treated.
  18. As would Greecan from Morton

I can't wait till the game tomorrow, I feel Brew will try extremly hard to win us over. I feel that any man with a brain will recognise that fans will be hostile to a former manager returning, particularly one who left in such contraversial circumstances. I feel he could do well up front as a player and get us more goals.

Off topic but how much is it into the game on Tues?
  21. The higher attendences can be put down to the fact that we had just got into the SPL and TCS had just been complete, so there was an novelty.
  22. I think I should replace him because on football manager I got Caley into the Champions League, signed players like Denilson and won the league cup. :crazy07:
  23. CALEY'S CHRISTIE CALLS IT A DAY
  24. I hope this doesnt mean CC holds off on signing a permenant replacement for Dods because if this guy goes back early/injured whatever we are in a spot of bother.
  25. Feyenoord because I enjoy the fans passion and like the way they play, also Elgin City because my family over the years were avid fans, my great grandfathre was on the board of directors and reegularly drove the team around. His picture is still up in the board rooom at Burugh Briggs. In fact my grandmother told mme the other day about when they went to Buckie for a match on the supporters bus and a bunch of local children surrounded it and began to rock it, some things never change.
