Its not an issue of length, whether it was 3 minutes or 9 minutes, the post editing process for each game would take the same amount of time .... Its the game 'events' that dictate the amount of time post-processing takes. The higher the score, the more processing it takes as each goal has a few frames added for goal information. There is also a short clip of TB at the end of this week's highlights and I had to split that from the main video, add the FT details and then work it back in. Please have a little more patience I am almost done and will hopefully get the finished file to the club in the next couple of hours.

still working on them - its a lot more work when the lads score seven and the manager makes a speech !!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cross posting this reply from another thread as I think it is relevant here too -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I thought it was only the ones recorded by the club you couldn't use? given the number of videos or video links posted in the last few days I have decided to post this clarification of how we are interpreting our site rules ... its pretty much the rule of thumb we (mods/admin) have followed all season: 1. YouTube links YouTube links are fine !!! YouTube have a robust policy for dealing with copyright infringement so the SFL or other copyright holders can complain to them if necessary. As YouTube videos do not use our bandwidth we have no control over the actual videos. We do however reserve the right to remove links to videos which may be inappropriate due to content or where - for example - footage that has been posted on the official site is 'grabbed' and reworked into another clip. 2. Match Action Personally, I do not define some of the clips referred to as showing 'match action' as actually doing so as the action is merely going on in the background and the focus is on the fans. For this reason we will not delete those links unless asked to do so by club or SFL who are the ones who actually define 'match action'. Again, as most of these are on YouTube then the club or SFL will likely have them removed at source first so the link will simply stop working !!! 3. ICT 'owned' footage Footage filmed by Andy and processed by us can only be legally shown on the ICT official website - not even on here despite us creating it for them. If we come across instances of it being used elsewhere we will notify the club and let them decide whether they wish to ask the relevant host to remove it.

so are the real fans geting to hold the cup
I find it ironic that the OP has at various times on this board 'supported' at least half a dozen different teams - sometimes at the same time. It would be nice if the club could have some sort of 'open day' at the stadium to celebrate or hold some function at the Social Club or such like .... but I loathe any type of thread that pigeon holes any group/groups of fans as better than any others for some reason or another. We are all fans of the club and we support them how we can. Some may not live in Inverness so cant get to as many games as locals, some may not have as much money as the next fan so have to pick and choose which games they can attend or merchandise they can buy, some who do work might be obligated to work shifts or some saturdays, it doesnt make them any less of a fan than someone who has every weekend off. At the end of the day we are all fans of ICT and that puts us one rung of the ladder higher up than fans of other teams ... those poor souls are the only ones we are better than

Small Positives about getting promoted

Terry Butcher Interviews
OK, Don, stop covering for me Honest answer is that I have just picked up the highlights from Andy this morning as I was out all day yesterday for a Toronto FC match (we won 2-0 btw so my weekend was perfect). I will try and work on the clip this morning and get the updated page to the club asap. With regards to the questions about the future of clips and interviews and such like the short answer is yes, we hope to continue working with the club to provide this service and if and when it is possible to expand it into things like interviews, press conferences and the likes. We have also asked for a set of guidelines from the club for SPL rules regarding media provision as the rules are (or were) quite different between SFL and SPL. The club are very enthusiastic about the clips as they have had a lot of positive feedback about them and it has seen a considerable increase in pageviews to the official site so I think they will be extremely open to any ideas that keep this trend continuing. As they say ... watch this space

Unofficial party venue?
Maro & The Duke of Gloucester for me ..... in fact as there is a TFC game today and not one in Toronto next week I think I will have to head to the first named bar shortly and the second one after the game and do my ICT celebrations there a week early

ICT - The Iconic Images
ok fair enough ..... I will let it run, but please note that if it fills up with copyrighted images - like the very first in the thread, we will have no option but to close and delete the thread.

ICT - The Iconic Images
why ? we have a photo gallery that is more suited to that purpose than a discussion forum !!! Also - the very first image posted is a copyright issue (? PA sports)

Pitch invasion(s)
Quite possibly ..... 1. This is the first game since we became champions, everyone is relieved, excited, happy and in a party mood (I would be too). I would say that makes you pre-disposed to celebrate... and maybe over-celebrate. 2. Its an away game so many are 'well-oiled' (I would resemble this remark also). Sensible head quite often gets suppressed at this juncture. 3. The manner of victory has you on cloud 9 ..... I have been present when we scored 7 against Ayr before and that was without winning the league and the mood was tremendous ..... Is it right? No Is it acceptable? Probably not, but that will depend on the ref's report and how far onto the pitch the fans encroached. Would I have done it in the circumstances? If I am honest, yes, I probably would have got caught up in the moment and been a culprit who went partially onto the side of the pitch. If not at goals 6 or 7, definitely when the FT whistle went.

Hayes to sign up
Grassa - cancel your dinner with Gordon Smith and nip round to Jonny's house ASAP ... in fact, if you do it tonight he may well have had some 'celebrations' and will sign a Jim McLean-esque 15 year deal :clapping03:

Pitch invasion(s)
:clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: some people will say it was great and a natural release of all the good feelings of a roller coaster season, others will not like it because it could have ramifications ..... normally I would fall into the :018: :018: brigade because of my sensible head, but today, I reckon I would have been on the pitch had I been there :boldred: :boldred: :boldblue: :boldred: :boldblue:

OK. Go here: http://community.caleythistleonline.com/in...=sc&cat=762 to upload to a generic Ayr Gallery. I have enabled it for member upload of photos and small video files. Bear in mind we are not allowed to show match action in any videos uploaded. If you want your own gallery, you can upload a member album here and just link back to it in this thread: http://community.caleythistleonline.com/in...eq=sc&cat=1 note - The ability to upload pictures (to your own galleries) has ALWAYS been enabled ..... but for posterity we will open up generic group galleries for this week's game and for next week's game. If people want it, we may also do the same next season (trying to stay within the photo/media rules of course).

Ayr Utd -V- ICT : Post-Match Thread
Pictures we can allow - post here or we can add a special gallery - but the videos cant be posted if they show 'match action' ..... if its video of the fans its fine, but not if it shows the goals as that is copyright SFL and only postable on official websites. interesting question - I would say yes. Dont have time to pore over stats but I think you will be correct.
