  1. This makes sense to me so I will amend our stats to reflect this and check it with the club and Ian Broadfoot. edit: email sent to club for confirmation
  2. hopefully the 'locals' will get the subs right so we can make sure our stats are accurate.
  3. yeah, in the absences of tweets directly from the ground yesterday, our twitter service was relying on the Dundee text commentary and the open all mics comments of a certain mr Jim Spence.
  4. man that makes it complicated ..... According to the official site (and what we have in our stats so far) Morrison for Eagle (79 mins) McBain for Hayes (88 mins) According to BBC, SKY and Sportbox Morrison for Eagle (79) McBain for Hayes (87) Allison for Proctor (90) Sportbox and Radio Scotland had us with two bookings - Hayes and Cox but everyone else seems to have missed Cox getting booked.
  5. yeah, remember Mark ..... played 37 times for Caledonian Thistle (before we added the Inverness part) and then lost his place to Jimmy in the 95/96 season ...... good keeper
  6. The stadium announcer said Allison! It certainly wasn't Allison, Rooney, McBain or Ross, so by a process of elimination it must have been Morrison. According to the official site and the stats I had up to now Morrison was on the park long before that. Gavin Morrison for Robert Eagle (78) Roy McBain for Johnny Hayes (87) neither the official site nor SKY had another substitution listed but sportbox did. Sky then added it too. It showed Proctor going off right at the death and being replaced by Allison. I assume this was the "clash of heads" injury Jim Spence was talking about near the end ? Until I know different, I am going with my initial feeling that this subbing didnt happen as the official site doesnt list it and the names make no sense given that Rooney and Ross were both still on the bench.
  7. can someone who was at the game confirm the 90th+ minute substitution being reported on SKY and other update sites .... Kyle Allison (GK) on for David Proctor ?????
  8. happy with a point away at Dens ..... sounded like a cracking game that either team could have pinched or thrown away .....
  9. given the state of the CSA (Canadian Soccer Association), I would very much doubt it. The money we got for Niculae at the Euros was from UEFA/FIFA for taking part in the competition finals ... there was no mention of money from normal games in the qualifiers for it.
  10. well, here it is folks, the early season proverbial six-pointer ...... thought media coverage might be easier to find for this game but nope, just the same old toned down media offering that affects the 1st division. I will add links or additional sources as I find them .... but it looks like this season will be a bumpy ride in terms of coverage ! .style2 {text-align: center;}.style3 {border-collapse: collapse;border-style: solid;border-width: 1px;}.style6 {border: 1px solid #FFFF99;text-align: center;}.style8 {text-align: center;border-style: solid;border-width: 0;} Dundee -V- Inverness CT Dens Park, Dundee 3:00 PM ...follow us on Twitter @ http://twitter.com/ICTOnline or on Main Site Front Page ...discuss it during the game in the CHATROOM AUDIO COVERAGE MFR (UK or VPN Only) BBC Open All Mics (worldwide) LIVE SCORES / TEXT SKY BBC SportBox TEAM LINEUPS AFTER MATCH HT Report FT Report Match Stats

There is only one person making an arse of himself on this thread (and we know who that is dont we) .... as that poster doesnt like the thread much, he has now been excluded from it .... thread has therefore been re-opened.
  17. I will pin this as the matchday thread as I am at work and dont have time to create the normal one :023:
  18. mebbe Hearts havent issued him with his club wardrobe of polo shirts, training tops and other such stuff yet !!!
  19. The new Partick away top, and debate of CaleyD's choice of shirt got me thinking .... what is the worst football kit you have ever seen in person or online ..... Most online polls seem to go for the Hull City tiger top or anything worn by Jorge Campos but what is yours ????? I came across a few beauties when looking ...... some I had never encountered in a "worst kit" article before ..... Atletico Bilbao - two absolute corkers !!! Australia !!! Brighton & Hove Albion My favourite - The Caribous !!! Clydebank Dundee Utd Exeter Fiorentina - nothing too much wrong with this one at first glance, or from a distance, but up close, the swastikas kind of doomed it !!! Millwall Crystal Palace - scary if only because they have same colours as us Stockport
  20. now that is pushing it TOO far !!!
  21. I cant speak for a 60K stadium, but they quite easily handle it at a 21K stadium in Toronto at every MLS game ...... tickets have barcodes and if you go out at half-time (or any other time) you are scanned out .... and then scanned back in again on your return ...... simple Sounds good to me. Would cost quite a bit to implement tho i'd imagine. Would be cheaper and quite manageable just to put a mannie/wifey/steward with a book of cloakroom tickets or an ink stamp on an ajar gate next to the main stand. Would keep the smokers happy and away from the clean lung-ed supporters. Its all about economies of scale - the TFC barcoding arrangement I mentioned is part of a whole integrated ticket package that allows us to manage our tickets online via ticketmaster so my comment was more to show that something relatively simple can accomodate a stadium with 21,000 at every game than to suggest ICT suddenly start printing barcodes on the tickets. For ICT with lets say 3000 of a crowd, you might get 100 wanting a smoke at HT (probably more smokers than that but maybe 100 wanting to pop out at HT) .... so the ideas of a hand stamp, a cloakroom ticket, or something equally as simple (and inexpensive) would work just fine !!!! Given the club's increasing interaction and willingness to try things out with the support since our relegation to division 1, this question, which was previously met with a firm NO in Boardroom Banter may be worth asking again.
  22. Why do the words Demis Roussos keep filling my head ..... oh no, the voices, the voices ...........

  24. :021: :D :025: Whilst I tend to agree that we need to win as many of our home games as we can if we want to win the league, use of the term "the likes of" smacks of the same arrogance that we so often complained about from others when we were one of the unfancied teams in the SPL. Did anyone expect Raith to almost do one on Dundee ? or for there to be 4 draws out of 5 this week ? As Jimmy Greaves used to say .... "Its a funny old game" !!! alright .... off to the pub now to get ready for Toronto FC -V- DC United which kicks off at BMO Field at 4pm my time .... its swelteringly hot today so the wardrobe is shorts and TFC polo shirt, and on the menu is a pitcher or two of Alexander Keiths.
  25. 3297 crowd - pretty healthy
