I have always had a lot of time for Yogi and his "banter" even back to the days when he was at Ayr.
-
Can you confirm (for the stats) ..... none of the online sites reported a booking for him (SKY, P&J, BBC, Sportbox, Sporting Life etc)
-
Bazza off field for bandage, Barr back on !!! Celtic now 2 up - Sheridan again.
-
BP block it tried it ? Its a new version - not java, flash or anything like that.

Robbo is doing "open all mics"

Vigurs is a midfielder. I will give Brewster credit for making a change so early. He has been slagged off many times for not making changes until it is too late ... at least this time it looks like he knows we have been ***** and is trying to change it around !

HT report available : HERE the last few seconds say it all.
-
HT: ICT 0-1 Falkirk
-
4-5-1 playing very deep and relying on counter attack according to Robbo who is commentating on open all mics
-
team lines now up.

and that brings us back to ... consistency !!! Quite a few of us have mentioned it, and quite a few have mentioned the lack of it, both in terms of ICT and other teams ..... If Brewster and the players can somehow collaborate to make our team more consistent then maybe, this type of discussion wont be the only consistent thing on the site !!!

I expect Brewster to pick his best 11 every week and put it on the park. I expect those 11 players to be motivated by the manager as that is part of his job. I expect those 11 professional players to act in a professional manner, perform consistently, and get the job done. I do NOT expect us to win every game but I do expect us to put in an effort in each game. I do NOT expect everyone to like Brewster, that never happens with managers in almost any field. I do NOT expect us to lie down and be rodgered the way we were against Rangers. That is not acceptable.

The Inverness History Forum published a book not that long ago with just this sort of thing. Ex councillor Sheila MacKay and my mum were both involved in putting it together .... It was a very limited run so not sure if any are still available. No problems with anyone posting pictures of "old inverness" on here, we can even create a gallery category if required, but please be mindful of any copyright that may still exist.

AJG parcels perchance ? If so, you should do OK, Adrian is a big ICT fan

Its for the main site only ...... but for the forum, you can use the text size option available in most browsers IE7 - choose "Page > Text Size" and switch from default "medium" to larger or largest FireFox - choose "View > Zoom" and zoom in/out (or use ctrl button and the + or - signs For those with a mouse with a scrolling wheel in the middle, you can usually achieve the same effect by holding down ctrl and moving the wheel one (or more) click in either direction.

I know what you mean, but as I mentioned above, the ads are "smart" ads which look at the words on the page and throw up the most relevant adverts they can find based on the topic, keywords mentioned in the site descrioption as well as the topics themselves and the "geo-location" of the IP address. I often get Canadian adverts or Scottish tourism ads because it realises where my ip address is from ...... As we have costs associated with running the site to pay for software, servers, domain names etc, we have to get some revenue somewhere and this is the most cost effective way. Of course you could become a "sponsor" and rid yourself of all ads (on the forums at least) or find us some nice benefactor that would pay for all these things and we could remove them for all LOL. Going to move this topic to tech support now that the main question has been answered.

it is also topic related so the topic probably mentioned Celtic in some way ......

Spectre has a point about post safety .... and that has got to be down to motivation .... what was said to the players in 05/06 that was different to every other season ? or did the idea of a bigger bonus for finishing higher mean more to them then than in subsequent seasons ? Motivation is part of the manager's job .... we should also expect a modicum of it to come naturally from professional players so there is a sharing of blame if the motivation is not there. I want to see an ICT where the players are motivated for every game, even the "small" ones, and where they at least try to be consistent in those games. Of course we are going to lose games, and have off days, but if we look like we are trying, and the players seem motivated, then it is a far easier pill to swallow. If we can get those two things going, the manager and players would also get a little more leeway for the odd bad performance.

The "Hannibal" films have some seriously gory scenes ... not all blood and guts, which actually makes them more scary ... Whether its the burning journalist in the original "Manhunter" using the skinned cop's face and hanging the other up like an angel as he escapes in Silence of the lambs, or the brain scene already mentioned in Hannibal ... all pretty nasty!!! The eyeball scene in Hostel is also pretty gross, as is the whole SAW franchise !!! But what about "The Fly" where he barfs over someone and his hand dissovles .... or Hellraiser where "Uncle Frank" solves the puzzle of the box and gets his face ripped apart by chains and hooks that shoot out of it. Saving Private Ryan is another fairly gory movie, especially in true surround sound, but it is gory in a "real life" sort of way. Not sure if I am going into the realms of scary with this last pair or whether they are truly gory, but I found the original Japanese versions of The Grudge (Ju-On) and The Ring (Ringu) quite gory in a subtle way !!!

For me it is all about consistency ...... I wholeheartedly accept that I am not watching the games in person and that listening on Internet radio, or snatching a small windowed video feed when possible (for OF games), does not give you the same perspective as someone who was at the game but you dont need to be at the game to know we are terribly inconsistent. We have not won two back-to-back league games since April We have only won once in six attempts at home this season (last year W9, D2, L8) We have won three times away from home this season so far (last year W4, D2, L13). Considering we only won 4 times away from home last season, maybe this will turn out better !!! Our form from the start of season is W-L-D-W-L-L-W-L-L-L-L-W (home games in red) so the only streaks we have had so far are losing ones. Our form last season contained 6 "streaks" from the opening 6 game losing streak (4 of which were with CC or DP at the helm, to a streak of 5 wins mid-season and then that worrying streak of 7 straight defeats from 20th Feb through to 5th April. L-L-L-L-//-L-L-W-W-D-L-W-L-L-W-W-W-W-W-L-W-L-W-L-D-D-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-W-W-L-W-L-D You can call me anti-Brewster if you want, but the simple truth is that I am still in the undecided camp although I am leaning more heavily towards the "anti" crew. I have chopped and changed my perspective on Brewster ever since he was appointed for the second time ... its part of the deal when you are "undecided" !!! Some weeks I feel he IS the man for the job, other weeks I couldnt see him far enough ..... The Rangers game was another of these "swingometer" games and I have to admit that apart from basing my comments on my own perspective from watching that game on a crappy video feed, I was also swayed by the comments of those who were at the game such as the eternal optimist of all things ICT (Alex) who quite literally stated that the team did not appear to be trying. If it had been one of our more negative posters, that comment would not have resonated with me so much, but for Alex to say it, I know things must have gone badly awry for him to make that statement. Saturday's result may have pushed me back more towards the centre of the undecided camp as it was a pleasure to listen to the game, and to see the comments from posters who were at it. Was it luck? Did the manager get it right? were the players embarrassed by their capitulation the previous week? who knows .... For me, once again the question will come down to consistency .... We have two winnable games coming up and if Brewster can motivate the players, set tactics that will work, pick the best starting 11, and hopefully achieve a result, then maybe he can start convincing us. Hell, we dont even have to win all our games, for many of them, I would be happy that we gave 100% and that even if we lost, we knew we had tried our best (like the recent Celtic defeat). However, I cannot and will not accept the way we just laid down for Rangers. ICT dont do that.

Pretty sure that up until yesterday, we had not scored in 4 consecutive games at ER. Yup, Hibs have never beaten us up here, and have only ever scored 1 competitive goal. At Home we are good v Hibs normally. We have had some victories at ER but we tend to be defeated there. Last season we were beaten in the League and Cup there. http://stats.caleythistleonline.com/opponent.php?opp=5

If I ended up back in Sneck, I would probably make the pilgrimage every so often to see friends, and if it coincided with a game so be it ..... As for TFC V ICT, then it would be ICT all the way.
-
Would never want it to happen, and would fight tooth and nail to prevent it, even from over here, but I guess the answer to the question is easier for me if all the efforts ended up in vain ..... Toronto FC !!!

That came through quiet and clear on the radio today. well done to both sets of supporters. unlike elsewhere where a minute's applause had to be observed to drown out those who would disrupt it.
