  1. I think I know a little bit more about the club's dealings with Errea than the average supporter (although I would concede that I also know far less about it than the club officials). Some of the stuff I have been told over the last few years has been quite annoying, mind boggling or just downright disrespectful to the club and I would sincerely hope that the club are already looking around for a UK supplier for when the contract ends even if it means that both kits have to change next year.
  2. ok - I re-read this thread when I merged big man's topic into it ..... and to emphasise something that seems to be getting missed by a few people (including me I must admit) ...... Presumably, this means that the home shirts are OK despite the late change in sponsorship ?
  3. Did you know that when ICT used Le Coq Sportif as the shirt supplier, special iron-on sponsor logos were produced so that fans could change the badge of the sponsor from Citylink to Scotrail ....... doesnt sound like the club have even considered this as a temporary measure for the team shirts ....... As for Errea, hopefully ICT will lighten their load and they will only be sponsoring 5 teams next season !!!!
  4. swear filter was emptied when we switched sites - not ignoring you TM4TJ - just busy :004:
  5. they all appear broken right now - but the funny thing is, if i go into your post, do nothing but then save it (like I did above), the quote works !!! very strange ...... but dont quote me on that !!! LOL well actually, do quote me on that - see whether its still broken !
  6. not sure - it seems to work for me and for others ........
  7. Alex - ultimately they have to shoulder some of it. they are not blameless, and regardless of when we were made aware of the sponsorship deal, the discussions would have been ongoing for a while giving plenty of time to co-ordinate with Errea. Is it so difficult to ask "If we need strips here by August 4th, what is our cut off date ?". If we actually ordered in time, then someone needs to be on the phone every morning saying "where are they", "where are they", "where are they" until they arrive. If we ordered late, then it IS the club's fault and someone needs to be sweet talking them to get it done.
  8. This actually makes sense to me ! Shirt manufacturers DO require a fairly long lead time as they do a production run for one team then for someone else and someone else and someone else etc etc etc ..... as ICT are 'small fry' in terms of gross sales compared to others they probably have on their books we dont have much in the way of leverage. I would however have expected them to pull out all the stops to have the team shirts ready ..... This comment is RIDICULOUS. While fans may be re-assured by the fact that the players wont have their shirts in time either, the club should be APPALLED, ANNOYED, ANGRY and have steam coming out of their ears about this and the letter should reflect this. Will the sponsor be quite so reassured ? Most of thier flights might be late but I am sure they wont take kindly to the shirts not being here for a game that will be televised WORLDWIDE I believe this is the last year of the Errea deal. I sincerely hope that the club do not renew it as the supplier has never delivered on time, the quality of the merchandise is sometimes questionable, and different batches have different sizes regardless of what the label says. shoddy. shoddy. shoddy.
  9. nahh, best line was "The Cup tie was eventually won by Inverness." .....
  10. Yeah - you just cant ignore the Admins .... no matter how much you try. I checked the code and it looks like another modification was screwing up one of the If/else commands resulting in the ignore function actually working, but still displaying the post anyway. I have restructured the code and it appears to be working properly now. as you can see - the post now shows ignored and no message ... unlike the previous screenshot that shows ignored but displays message anyway. 11. BigTams - just to expand on what CD said ... we upgraded to the full version of the software and it has the capability to run multiple leagues, mini leagues, and a lot of other things - you can log in but then have to join a league (or multiple leagues) - we will try to get it sorted out in the next day or two so that users can read a full set of instructions. have faith -- I had it running on the test site for the last couple of months of last season and just kept importing the predictions and scores from the old league we were running and it looks and runs a lot better than before.
  12. This is an information rather than a discussion topic so it is locked & stickied. Will just keep amending it as required.
  13. see work permit thread - it is a member but employmnt visas still needed.
  14. no its not that simple - read the links on the other thread
  15. Don't forget the yellow one! do you read posts before replying ?
  16. :015: :015: - Statto - on Baddiel and Skinner .... mmmmmmmm. nahh, the secret is to have good sources - Google and 13 years worth of match reports and Ian Broadfoot's stats tend to be enough for this site :003: the worrying thing for me is the 75% requirement for international games - he does not satisfy this criteria.
  17. what is this obsession with kit colours ?? its not even a strip, its our training kit .... 4 sets, red, blue, white and yellow. we havent played in any official ICT strip yet !

    no need .........
  19. UK Home Office places restrictions on 'workers' from Bulgaria and Romania - they are allowed to do this for up to 7 years after the country joins the EU. HERE According to the basic info pages, permits take "one to two weeks" but there is a separate page for footballers where no timescale is stated. HERE
  20. It can only be racism if you agree that folk from Dingwall are of a different race to those from Inverness. If slagging off another town or city was deemed as being racist then most of the population of this country would be in jail. Inverness v Dingwall, Glasgow v Edinburgh, Grangemouth v Bo'ness, Dundee v Perth and so on and so on. Get a life and join the fun mun. This topic is about Nights out in Inverness it is not about what one person thinks of Dingwall and is another stupid reply from this member. Also calling people from Dingwall another race from those in Inverness is racism. I conclude by saying that there is only one race: The Human Race. We have been slagging off the hamlet of Dingwall for 13 years on this site (as they have about Inverness on theirs). It is rivalry rather than racism and therefore please stop trying to make an issue where there is none as all it does is drag the thread off topic. if you wish to complain about a specific post or thread please use the 'report to moderator' function and it will be reviewed.

After your comments yesterday, it is apparent that you have a big problem with this site .... or perhaps it is myself or CaleyD ? no matter .... although I find it strange, considering how often you visit and lurk ....... If you dont like it why do you visit so often. At the end of the day, [although I happen to agree that this thread should be in AG] It is me (or one of the mods) who will decide if a thread stays in a particular forum or is moved elsewhere. If you want to make that decision instead, start your own forum !!! You might find out how much work is involved and be less of a moaning bar steward. In fact - as it pisses you off so much, I will leave it right here. might even stickie it ..... and why would we merge it with that thread - not related.
  23. only if we actually acquiesce to every request .... not to worry though birdog, we dont force you to come here................. Charles - the inferences or innuendo within the video may be regarded as bad taste by some but in my opinion it doesnt cross the line or I would have deleted it when i first saw it.
  24. see what you mean ..... will investigate tomorrow [attach=1] ignore.gif_thumb
  25. oh well ..... time to leave the office and go and watch Toronto FC V Aston Villa :003:
