  2. Think I will call you 'Rob Wilson' from now on then :004:
  3. Thats a BIG pile of Ashes !!! Why does the word methane spring to mind :farting01:
  4. I agree with Bonzo !!! maybe not with the valuation figure, but certainly with the concept that both Black and Proctor are very promising youngsters and as such should have a decent value attached to them .... The evil twins might want to continue buying in over the hill waning 'stars' but other teams need to develop youth and If we were to let either go, then we should be looking for a decent figure and some 'future' fees if they were to achieve certain milestones like full international call-ups etc Between Grassa and CC, I think we are in good hands in moulding the team for next season by trying to keep those we 'must' keep like "the Machine", and acquiring new talent like the rumoured approaches for Hoolahan and Rankin .... In the words of someone else .... I BELIEVE that CC and GB will not let us down :003:
  5. Whilst Grassa might not have been the best player to have ever worn an ICT shirt, he has shown time and time again that he is an excellent Director of Football .... well done to him for this comment which, I think, echoes the sentiments of most Caley Thistle fans...... "Bennett said: "Mike Fraser, if he does decide to join Livingston, will only be going there on loan for the season. He is a player our manager, Charlie Christie, has high hopes for, but he has had a tough time here due to the excellent from of Mark Brown for the first team. We are not interested in letting Mike leave, but we feel a season of first-team football would help his development tremendously."

    Caley Tartan

and a good job you both made of the design .... I am sure it looks very impressive as a full kilt.
  9. First car I had was a Vauxhall Viva that my next door neighbour gave to me ... it was never driven on normal roads but it took a bit of a tanking in the dirt road behind Hawthorn Drive !! I didnt bother driving until a few years ago - saw a poster at an early age that said dont drink and drive and thought it was a multiple choice question - so my first real car was a Rover 100 ... (basically a mini metro) ... and the shocking thing about that car is that Myself, Big Stu, Big Stu's brother and Calum all managed to fit into it to get to a home game from the Innes .... mind you, the suspension was never the same again and it died a few months later .... currently drive a Kia Rio which though unfashionable over here because it gets good mileage is actually a cracking wee car.

  11. There are a few ..... http://hmssneck.com/ict/index.php?option=c...&Itemid=202
  12. I did setup a 'dead pool' forum just for him to administer (something he asked for on the old site but we were not able to do) - but it is currently de-activated as he hasnt yet registered
  13. I think there is a real desire not to deal with DUFC at the root of this !!!!
  14. No Dead Pool without Bronson.....
  15. Agree that Sneck doesnt have too many decent chippies .... The one in Tomnahurich St. / Glenurquhart Rd - 'First Plaice' or something like that - is my chippie of choice anytime I visit, or it is since 'Kirsties' in Kinmylies closed down. The food is usually cooked while you wait and portions were decent enough. Harry Ramsdens in Inverness is, IMHO, the WORST chip shop I have ever encountered - bad food, bad portions - I cannot see how it ever won anything. This is saying something, but even the food at the HR in Glasgow airport was better than the Inverness one !!!!!!!!! What about peoples favourite chippies when on an away day ????? We always used to stop in Pitlochry on the way back up the road and go to the chippie that was a few hundred yards up the hill just off the main street ... never the one at the other end of the village.
  16. Championeees, Championeees ........ :001: :drinking08: :party06: :party02: :party02: :party06: :drinking08:
  17. We have no size restriction for the gallery - just the forum. If required, and so long as the photos are not under copyright to anyone else we can load intersting pictures like that into the gallery. We resize them to display at a decent screen resolution but also have the option to make the full size picture available ....
  18. Yes - sensible soccer - I remember that too Click Pic

  20. They were doing a piece on the sports section of the local news over here last night about the world cup .... they were talking about certain teams chances, although mention of the Italians was more to do with their official D&G suits rather than their chances !! When it came to talking to people on the street, they ignored every team except England in interviews with the public. It seems that the Canadian England supporters are expecting nothing less than a world cup win ..... However, the really funny (and portrayed as arrogant) part of the segment came at the very end when they revealed that England officials have already organised a 'victory party' for the 10th July - the day after the final !!! - arrogant swines I say, I say arrogant swines (the media and officials I mean, not the normal English people) ~Clicky~
  21. This inspired me to go lookout a few 'retro' games I used to play on systems through the years ...... For my Commodore64 it was HUNCHBACK - can remember playing it in the pub (when still slightly underage !!) and thought the C64 version was just as good. I also remember a couple of games that were quite good for their time - System15000 a 'hacking' simulation and 'Hill St Blues' a 2D cop game .... For my Amiga it had to be the Leisure Suit Larry adventures For my PC I lost literally days and hours playing Civilisation, Sim City, and of course Football Manager For my N64 I always liked the flying game that i got with it (cant remember its name) and for my PS2 the current favourite is GTA:San Andreas with FIFA a close second, although I dont get much time to play any computer games these days
  22. :025: :025: :025: :025: :025: :025: Excellent comments - wholeheartedly agree
  23. I knew you werent 29 !!! back to the old folks home for you :001:
  24. without revealing any info that might contravene the data protection act (we are still governed by that whether we are an independent forum or not !!) - I think I can say that it is my opinion that Benchy and Cyril are not the same person .... :010:
  25. Yeah it cost me a fair chunk of change to fix that .... barsteward whoever it was ..... Jnr - after winning my first 5 games in a row I was feeling quite happy .... but then I had a 1-1 draw and worse still, in the next game, suffered my only defeat (so far) at the hands of CaleyD .... so you got the backlash after I kicked my team's collective erse and stuck a player on the transfer list ........
