  1. Retirement is not an option Gringo! The editorial and moderator contracts on here were designed using an old Jim McLean contract template!!
  2. @Govan Jaggie - think life happened ... like many people who are no longer around the site.
  3. All ready here. Just coffee for now but the beat up old cup which I have had for years could only be bettered by the one on offer today

  5. Just donated to take it over the £1000 mark. Well done you absolute (Inter)Nutter !!
  6. I will review in the off-season. Its all about getting enough revenue to keep the site ticking over but not making it too annoying for users. The Vignette ads for some reason perform better than any other type of ads, not sure why.
  7. they enabled them for 50% of users 50% of the time as a test. Our ad revenue increased over the days they were enabled by 105%. I have disabled them for now. I think.
  8. looks like Google auto-enabled the vignette ads again. I will take care of it.
  9. Thats likely the prize money but does it include the shared gate receipts for the semis and final? That might be where the numbers look wrong as the number floating around a few weeks ago was well over £1m impact on our income.

  12. Aint gonna happen IMHO ... Police Scotland will quosh that idea citing public order concerns. Gives @IMMORTAL HOWDEN ENDER way too much time for all those Voddies.
  13. 2015 FA Cup Final kicked off at 5:30PM ... obviously didnt want to be overshadowed by ICT -V- Falkirk game that kicked off at 3PM the same day. Managed to convert a few TFC & Arsenal fans to ICT that day The cynic in me says if there is money on the table (or under it) then it will be moved away from 3pm, especially as the FA has confirmed Man Utd -V- Man City as 3PM (assuming the proposed rail strike doesn't kybosh all of that). Logic dictates that they will go for the earlier kickoff for the SFA final as they never want to give fans too much time to get tanked up before the match. Time to set the alarm clocks folks!

  17. Somehow my feed was from 'viaplay'. No cutting out, no lag, and no problems. very enjoyable watch with my (early) morning coffee. Saved the drams for later when book ending my day with a Toronto FC win against NYC FC.
  18. Think he would love it even more if we can win the next game ...
  19. Good game. Was worried until the penalty award as Falkirk started well, but after that it turned our way. Daniel MacKay's header was a great one and the third goal from Billy was taken very well. Apart from Ridgers' moment of madness, which he made up for with solid stopping on the few occasions he was called into action, Falkirk didn't look likely to score. Still dont know how the second Shaw attempt that hit the post stayed out. Thought it would hit the inside of the other post and in to make it 0-4 but that's football for you. Welsh and Allardice solid in the middle. Lots of positives today.
  20. Good solid signal here in Toronto. Think I woke up the neighbours when the second goal went in though

  23. These two items are of concern to me. No regard for local businesses who will take a long time - if ever - to forgive the club and trust them with any business dealings, and then apparently no idea about the disconnect with fans despite there being plenty of evidence of this all-over social media, this forum, and elsewhere. Treating the trust like something on the bottom of your shoe is also not cool. They may not think that any one group represents all of the fans, and that is true... but when you manage to discount, trivialise, and look down their noses at all the groups at once then its a recipe for disaster and a far wider spectrum of users than they may think. Its all well and good that we have a cup semi tomorrow and we have been on an upward trend in the league but let's not forget it was not that long ago we were at the wrong end of the table, looking at the other end of the playoffs and were OUT of this same cup. Fortune favours the brave and lets hope we are very brave in these next few weeks, but we are still unfortunately papering over the cracks on and off the field.
  24. noticed that. Also see a couple of other faces in the white shirts who i recognise from school - Donald MacDonald in front of his brother John, think Claude is in front row as well and a couple of others i recognise but cant place names at the moment.
