  1. haha no knee jerk reactions on here then...
  2. motherwell offered us a swap deal apparently, we said no. not sure who the player in question is but according to mr bennett: "Unless it was one of Motherwell's best players involved, and that is not the case, then there would be little benefit to Caley Thistle." also mentions this latvian lad, Pavels Mihadjuks, who currently plays for FK Ventspils.
  3. dont see any harm in taking a look at him. Hastings and tokers havent exactly covered themselves in glory at times this season...
  4. fast forward to about 2 mins 40. Maybe we should be making a move for this lad... http://www.dafc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/...1368830,00.html
  5. if only the romanian wingers and full backs could cross a ball...
  6. i dont think anyone rates sebo in scotland, so he isnt realy over-rated. pressley hasnt played much this season so again isnt over rated. same goes for buffel, allthough he did look good in the semi final last weekend. i think nevin was saying that the reason he hasnt been playing is because they'll have to pay more transfer fees if he appears in the league again. rob jones in my opinion is the most over rated, everyone goes on about how much of a gaol threat he is (especialy on this site pre-hibs games) but he rarely scores. the only people that dont rate him strangely enough are hibees.
  7. paul lambert all the way
  8. i'd rather zibi as a back up than ridgers, that said i wasnt keen on having fraser as our back up and he did just fine. bring back ridgers!
  9. realy cant see it happening, the legal ramifications would be huge. they couldnt surely in effect relegate 2 teams at this late staeg, theyd have legal bills coming out their noses. not just from us but the likes of st j, they effectively have no chance of winning the league but a slightly better chance of 2nd. they could argue that now that they are out of the title race theye rested players or tried new formations as they have nothing to play for, however if all of sudden dundee and hamilton were promoted then they could argue that they could have fought on for 2nd place. in summary, i dont see it happening
  10. personally the cup form is more annoying than the league form. been watching ict all my days (im 22 so thats not that long) but in my lifetime we've risen from the Highland league to the SPl and in doing so we have completley bypassed 20-25 teams who constantly linger in divisions 1-3. i cant imagine what it must be like to be an Arbroath Alloa or Ayr fan (and thats just the A-teams!), no real hope of getting to the big time. We get regular trips to 2 of the best stadiums in the world, a few games a year on the T.V. and generally being ackgnowledged in the media. Granted our cup from has been sh!t since we came up but we allready ahve the most famous shock in Scottish cup football under our belts! Im sure in the next 2-3 years we'll sneak a trip to Hampden an possibly the top 6 as well. Im not suggesting we dont try to progress but i think people underestimate how hard it is to continue to progress in what is a tough league and tough cups, our time will come
  11. i think the current slip is down in part to a loss of form but also a run of bad luck, since the gretna game we havent won but a good few of the performances have been fine (see below), we have some very winnable fixtures coming up and a week off to prepare, think the panicking is a it unnecessary, and who realy cares if "russeldinho" leaves! ICT 3-0 Gretna - hoorah! Hibs 3-0 ICT - we were pish but hibs were good ICT 0-1 Rangers - very unlucky, thought we coped well with a team in the latter rounds of the EUFA cup! and could/should have taken 1 or maybe(!) 3 points ST mir 1-1 ICT - wasnt there but was it not quite even? not a bad result away from home ICT 1-1 DUFC - awful game but not a bad point, they took their chance but we could have quite easily snatched a win M'well 3-1 ICT - we were pretty much blown away by a very good m'well team, no real shame and we battled back quite well Hibs 2-0 ICT - bad start again but we were far better than them, on another day we would have scored a couple. the fact that one of our players was mom surely backs that up Celtic 2-ICT 1 - our defence actually coped quite well against a very good team who played barcelona (and did well) the next week. we had them on the ropes last 15 mins ICT 0-Hearts 3 - Ive.got.nothing.
  12. i would definatley give rory a chance, he did more in his 5 mins than wyness did in 45 mins, and wyness has been guff for a few months now. think nows the perfect time to give him his chance (as well as viguirs in place of duncan), least that way we could finally make a semi-informed judgment on the poor lad
  13. poops
  14. another fraser spill...
  15. yeah they've had a heck of a lot of corners! gretna 3 killie 0!
  16. gers aslo 1 up at hearts, dons 1 m'well 0 too
  17. well we've kept the sheets clean longer than the last couple of games!
  18. dam thought mcmanus was out

    Hearts Game

that is good news, allthough they still ahve some dangerous players in the middle and down the wings, driver and kingston especially
  20. assuming st j dont go up then i reckon we shoudl have a look at andy jackson, also if wba get promoted i'd imagine dorrans would be available for a loan
  21. bit of a late post but been cowering since sat (live with a hibee). Thought niculae was class, flatmate also thought he was best player on the park. thought it was one of the worst performances i've seen from cowie, his final ball was so inconsistent. Felt a bit sorry for imrie, he seemed realy up for it but the state of the pitch made running at people almost impossible, allthough again his final ball was abysmal. I would definatley drop mguire asap. another good cameo from markus, should have had a penalty. on the whole i thought we were pretty unlucky not to get something from the game, the penalty(s) decison was costly, as well as the crap start.
  22. think people might be worrying a little too much about rob jones to be honest (unless the above posts are sarcastic in which case i take the following all back). dont think the lad has scored this season and from what i hear has been somewhat shaky at the back. think we should be slightly more concerned with the fletcher/nish/shiels/rankin/zemama combo. somewhat quick and looking pretty bloody good at the moment!
  23. boosh! good move by the brew
  24. saints fans ive spoken to speak about him in a similar way as we do about brew...not sure about his tactics/transfer ideas, not willing to change a faulty system. but fair play to the guy, last month he was facing teams such as morton and QOS, next month he comes up against arsenal
  25. worst. thread. ever.
