  1. Far too early to judge, though I dont see how someone can start this topic when all the evidence they've got is a 1-0 defeat to Septic. Especially given the form Esson was in, if he keeps that up then cant exactly see us conceding barrowloads.
  2. Think Peterhead aren't to be underestimated, they've got a few players who would like to come back to TCS and do a job against us. I'd go: Tuffey Proctor Munro Innes Golabek Ross Duncan Sanchez McBain Sutherland Rooney Subs: Esson, McCann, Gillet, Hayes, Odihambo
  3. Gutted I didnt get on in time to post for this one, though I doubt I would have got many points anyway.
  4. 5-0 at Gretna and Motherwell was there not?
  5. They're on BBC website every week, think it's a Monday they usually get put on?
  6. Absolutely gutted had a heavy night and missed the megabus down this morning now. :(
  7. Though I was critical of his performance against Septic, I did say I'd been impressed with him in pre-season as he'd lift his head up and look for a pass rather than hoofing it, and did say I thought it was just a bad day at the office and he should be in the line up for United. Though Proc's never done much wrong for us, I think it'd be harsh to drop McCann for a below average (but not terrible) performance against one half of the ld Filth. Sounds like a peach he scored too, well done that man.
  8. Where is Castlemilk in Ireland?

  10. Is it just me or has anyone else just missed the point of DC's arguement? Right so you beleive whatever somebody says because of who they are? Tony Bliar and George Bush said Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. They were PM and President respectively, so surely it has to have been true. Flower of Scotland is our National Anthem though, Boys of The Old Brigade etc, have nothing to do with Scotland. These morons have nothing to do with Ireland half the time but stick to the claim of "it's part of we're culture."
  11. They never had a flare, it was green smoke bombs.
  12. Now that you have mentioned signing new players, what has happened regarding Tade, Keegan and Madden? Dont quite think Tade would make the grade in SPL, we have better already IMP, and there was other better strikers than him in Div 1. Keegan's far too old surely? Is he not still doing the pundit job on't tele? I never realised Madden had been found.
  13. What Georgeios said. Think McCann will come good, mind you Proc's never done anything wrong and always been reliable for us so wouldn't complain if he was drafted in.
  14. Echo the sentiments about McCann. Was impressed with him in pre-season, he always seemed to look up and check where he was putting the ball rather than just hoofing it away and seemed solid enough going back and forward on the right. Him and Nick seemed to have a good understanding and had some good link-ups, particularly in the QP game. However yesterday he seemed fazed, whether it by opposition or the cameras on him I don't know. Far too many times he was out of position leaving them acres of space on the left wing. Thank feck it was only Samaras they had out there most the time cause McGeady would've had a field day if he was still there. Also showing McCourt inside onto his stronger foot was a big mistake, and never looked composed when he had the ball. Hopefully it was just a bad day at the office and he can pick himself up and do a job against United, and I do believe he will turn out to be a good signing for us.
  15. Scotty Davies was loving our crack!
  16. Why did they ask ya to wear the kilt when you weren't even wearing it at Fleetwood ya daft, old bas? :_beatme:
  17. Think he's as good as Alexander, but McGregor and Gordon are better IMO, that's why I said I could see him getting a place on the bench if Gordon's injuries keep re-occurring.
  18. It was nae use having Rooney up on his own, he put the effort in but was never getting anywhere with it and their defence coped with relative ease. Think Sutherland should have been introduced earlier, or Eric pushed right upfront to support him after they went 1-0 up. Think we needed Hayes to start, reckon TB's plan was to get him to use his energy early on and target Mulgrew, with the hope of an early goal and with a bit of luck we might have got one but it wasn't to be. 2nd half they looked sharper and getting all the breaks, it was only a matter of time before the goal came really, and we never looked like getting one back.
  19. What do the asterisks stand for beside Man City and Blackburn? Gonna get myself down to a Birmingham game at somepoint this season. :)
