  1. This is my favourite :)
  2. Hmm glad you got one then, I'm still waiting...
  3. And to whoever I was txting the updates to.. I wasn't that drunk, Fleetwood had printed off team lines which actually said Ryan Esson was our number 11 for the day.
  4. Don't think being in Division 1 and going back up again has anything to do with it. Last season saw an INCREASE in Season Ticket sales on the previous year in the SPL, and whilst in the SPL before I have never had a problem getting tickets/shirts etc, and infact have been full of praise for the shop staff on many occasions. Standards have just quite clearly slipped though and noone, bar the p!ssed off fans, seems to be giving a sh!t about it. Totally unprofessional, even if they are busy, then a 2 minute phone call back would would be understandable IMO. What gets me aswell is that I could sort of see it if I was trying to get my season ticket after the new strip had come out, they'd be bound to be well busier than usual then, but it was a week and a bit before that I tried ordering it. Could be losing the club valuable money with this poor handling.
  5. Gillet will start, so will Rooney, think Rossco will be on at LB, and Esson may well be on. Anyway, nice to a game on saturday, beats the hell out of shopping/gardening eh. Why will Gillet start yet Tokely's at LB? :_doh:
  6. Ba doom boom tish. Agree with Renegade, Odihambo needs to be played outwide or upfront where he can get the room to make runs and get into space, otherwise he'll be virtually ineffective. For this reason I've chosen Sutherland to partner Rooney upfront. Also think he's put more effort in from what I've seen in pre-season and deserves a chance against a team like Queens, as I dont know will he given much of a chance in the SPL. This would be the perfect game for him to stake a claim for himself. Think with the likes of Ross, Sutherland and Cox it's a good mix of youth in there aswell to give them a chance to prove themselves against lower league oppo.
  7. Have had the same problem with my season ticket, tried buying it online where it went to the confirmation page, then told me my booking couldn't be confirmed however they may have taken the money out of my account so call the Club Shop and don't try attempt it again. So I called the club the next day where I was put on, probably to the same girl who said she'd transfer me through to the shop. Then left a voice message with my details and pressed the # key after it, and did this again a couple of days later, and have never recieved a call back. Work Monday - Friday so haven't had a chance to go in yet as I was down at Fleetwood last Saturday, but will do tomorrow before the game. I will no doubt face the prospect of the seat I had attempted to book now being taken by someone else, and the seat I do eventually get will most likely have someone else in it for the Septic game. Poor organisation and I'm not a happy bunny. Dunno if I'll be purchasing the top.
  8. Interesting to see only 2 line ups with Tuffey in goal.. I'd got with: Tuffey McCann Tokely Munro Golabek Ross Duncan Cox Sanchez Sutherland Rooney Bench: Esson, Innes, Morrison, Bluhmanshtein, Odhiambo
  9. Saw Esson, Cox, Rooney, Morrison, Shinnie and Ross there. Don't see anything wrong with them going out and enjoying themselves, they're only young lads.
  10. Just finished off the second bottle of voddie with Sunday Brunch :_panting: :cheering: Easy.
  11. Just got back from a cracking weekend in Blackpool, and an enjoyable away day despite the performance. Can only echo what's been said before really. Tuffey was the saving grace a couple of times, with good performances from Munro, Sutherland and Coxxy. The rest of the starting XI don't get pass marks. Roy's miss was SHOCKING, Sanchez and Odhiambo looking ok at times but not putting all that much effort in. Was poor having to wait until about 70 mins to see Rooney, who then scored with his first touch. Gil, Nick Ross and Gavin Morrison also played well when they came on, and we were certainly looking a lot more threatening in attack after those subs. All in all, lacklustre performance against a well organised Fleetwood side, and we can't complain with the scoreline really. Fair play to their sub keeper who came in for a bit of stick, but took it well and even gave us a wee clap after. Their stadium and set up in general seemed top notch, and they're a well run club who could easily progress to a higher level. The programme said they were hosting top flight European opposition though, and also our 'pre-season training' pics contained Barrowload, Rory, Cowie, Barry Wilson and a certain Mr Brewster. Only complaint.
  12. Someone PM there number that will be on here I'll give it a go. Cant guarantee they will be accurate or on time though
  13. Could do, but will most likely be too p1shed to remember.
  14. A reliable source informs me we're holding out for the shock signing of David Villa so he can model it on it's release. True story.
  15. I'm excited most to see how Jonny fares against SPL defences, will be great if he runs riot against them like Div 1. Think we have enough experience with Tokely, Munro, Golly, Foran, Duncan and Esson providing a formidable backbone to help out the younger lads in our team. Even if Esson doesn't retain the Number 1 jersey we still have a capable replacement with International experience in Tuffey. This will be vital. Think Odihambo could just have a new found confidence after scoring v Ayr, and also a hat trick already under his belt for pre-season. Him, Hayes, Rooney and Foran have the potential to be a powerful attack for us. All in all I cannot feckin wait for this season to get underway, really looking forward to it more than I have for a long while.
  16. I'll be there +about 5 or 6 I think.
  17. Mind playing a game for the school up in Thurso a few years back and had to mark a certain Mackay-Stevens. The boy just ran the show for them and clearly had a lot of potential so wasn't surprised to hear he was at Liverpool a couple of years after. If he's continued to progress since that windy day a few years back then should definitely be a worthy addition to the squad.
  18. Well said Harry :D Motion carried. :D Get it up them, and everyone of thee 18000 glory hunting inbreds that went to support them today. Be they Caley 'fans' or not.. Telt.
  19. The Mallard wins it for me..
  20. This could be a vicous rumour and I feckin' hope that's all it is, but because of the whole Hayes, Rooney, Foran Irish connection I heard a rumour of Jedward B)
  21. Sloop John B or Caledonia would be best I reckon..
  22. ICTFCkev replied to MacBandy's topic in Caley Thistle
Aye they're defo a bit more lenient these days anyway.
  23. Aye I was worried Munro was walking after that though. He may have been fouled first off, but the ref never saw it or just let it go, and then Grant wrestled him down. Had Tokely not have been almost in line with a slight chance of getting there too I reckon Munro would have been off.
  24. Also.. What was Eric's celebration about?!
