  1. Looks like the site is now under the approach for the friars bridge.
  2. And the reason his form doesn't merit it is that Barrowman is not getting a regular start. The reason that Barrowman is not getting a regular start is that his form doesn't merit it. I can do that all day.
  3. There used to be a train to and from Inverness which they called the "Penzance Express" or something similar, which I'm sure stopped at Oxenholme. You'll probably have to make a weekend of it when you come up though.
  4. Congratulations Mr Brewster. Maybe now he can concentrate on the job in hand.
  5. It's possible that the money isn't there, in which case Black should have been transfer listed in order to generate income before the season started. Or maybe it's not the clubs fault but ours ....... if more fans went to the games there would be more income to offset wages. It is quite likely that the club has been caught in a catch 22 situation.
  6. For those of a sensitive disposition I should make clear that the second caption above is not intended to suggest either that that would be funny or non-racist or acceptable in any way. I'm just having a little dig at the double standards that on the one hand it appears you can be offensive to a white player (which seemed to get him a card as well) and on the other hand you would undoubtedly get a long ban. And your first caption? :thumb04:
  7. Who's he? Sounds Italian.
  8. UEFA? We can't even get Intertoto! (I assume you mean for Scottish teams as opposed to ICT) I concur with most posts regarding a hard fought win for CFC so they are on a high next week and overconfident.
  9. What he said.....I think?
  10. Do you have any proof to back that up or did you feel it in your water?
  11. That's the point I was trying to make, contract negotiations before players are considering their future options will require investment in the short term, but should improve cash flow in the long term either through results if they are retained or transfer fees should they go. Clubs are also less likely to poach players who have a 2 or 3 year contract unless they are outstanding and hence worth a lot more.
  12. We are a selling club, end off. It would be nice though, to retain the talent for another season and reap the benefits on the park which would also increase the value of the players (if they agreed to appropriate extension of course).
  13. There are not many many local names on the list at all. 10 in Inverness area 4 of which are women which surprises me.
  14. Rome is burning Ralph, wake up.
  15. Or the whole club for that matter, eh? Brewster is a ne'er do well that should have been left alone by the DofF last year. We're dooooooomed!
  16. It's all part of Brews masterplan to surround himself with yesmen.
  17. My thoughts on success for ICT based on current circumstances. ICT is a business, so a year on year increase in profit. For me, a week on week improvement in entertainment. There needs to be a balance between the two or one will suffer drastically. Simple.
  18. He's apologised to the boys' parents and they accepted, end of story as far as they're concerned. I hope they can now get some kind of normality into their lives now.
  19. Well i've got a courier job all but tied up now, although nothings been finalised yet. Still got my eye out! A courier from Hull now living in Foyers? Whatever you do, don't ask what's in the package.
  20. Or not........
  21. Duff. At 6'2 he's got the height but he's quite the thin guy and whilst he may lose a touch of pace, working on his upper body strength could lead him to being a more commanding figure. At 5'11" 11st is around average but a few pounds of muscle on the 12'6" frame of Duff would do no harm. And given his youth now is the perfect time. At 12'6" should he not just sit in goals.
  22. The summers are great here aren't they? Hope you like Foyers, it's got more than it's share of idiots though. Really?? It seems so peaceful, and with it being so far from the City I thought the idiots would be few and far between... It was either this house or a farmhouse just outside Muir of Ord, but the potholes down the track to the house put us off that one, plus it wasn't available until the end of november. They're harmless but idiots nonetheless. It is a village or did that escape you?
