  2. Solely because I have a strong dislike for Neil Lennon I want them to lose both the league and the Scottish Cup. The gloating from the other cheek of the old firm arse will be unbearable but to see Lennon's face and hear his excuses for capitulating what by rights they should walk/should have walked will be worth it. I have no hidden anti-catholic agenda here, just an intense dislike for Mr Lennon. If Walter Smith or Ally McCoist had behaved as he did this season then it would be the reverse.
  3. The fact we're looking at triallists before the season has ended can only be a positive move as a full pre-season will surely benefit any new faces. Trust in Tel & Mo.
  4. Good reasoned post and not far off the mark from where I see it.
  5. Butcher has positioned himself in a favourable place prior to the transfer window opening. He knows what he needs to improve the team and probably how much he has to spend. Whether we like it or not, this is a business decision and not about personalities. Good luck to all those who will be moving on.
  6. I don't want to be a part of a forum the founder can't even multiquote. I'm out.
  7. Good grief, where does the time go? That is one my favourite games too, I remember singing "we want five, we want five", when we were 4 down and believing we could do it. eta: If we'd won we would have been promoted as champions.
  8. Apologies, I didn't read the article properly and assumed it was a fans campaign as opposed to a parallel league with no mandate or financial support. Waste of time and effort. Do we really need another tier to Scottish football?
  9. They're not talking of getting rid of the old firm just a fairer deal for all the other teams. It wouldn't take much of a change really, fairer distribution of revenue and a better league structure.
  10. Let me elaborate, Green Party want environmental policies promroted but in becoming a "mainstream" party and embracing another political agenda the passion for the environment becomes diluted. Scottish National Party want independence but have had a minority government in Scotland during which they have achieved much against strong opposition. An SNP government will have a referendum during the next term of office, if there is a majority for Independence, what then? Scottish political parties would no longer have a mandate for representation in London and would return to Scotland to campaign for seats in Holyrood. Should a party set up for one purpose, not disband and allow their members to find their natural place?
  11. meh Big Tel is no too bad when it comes to shopping, I expect a few new faces and none that have been here before.
  12. Quite the contrary really, I'd expect to see more Tory MPs with tactical voting creeping into a lot of constituencies. However it turns out, it can't be a bad thing if it forces voters into reading all the candidates' views and parties' manifesto.
  13. A vote for the greens under the present ststem won't really have any bearing on who we get running the Scottish executive but will no doubt give us a Green MSP. I have reservations about the Green Party and SNP as both in my mind should be single issue parties, environment for Greens and Independence for SNP. If either were to push through Independence it would automatically trigger another General Election and then Scotland could rediscover herself politically instead of having a Westminster government we didn't elect like we have now.
  14. By second vote do you mean Regional vote? SNP for both for me. I'm voting yes for AV as well.
  15. I hope you mean if he's proven innocent of alleged indiscretions. Has he even been charged? Wouldn't want him near my team if he's not innocent.
  16. Good luck either way, can't say I envy you though.
  17. Just a suggestion but would it not be reasonable to make it a team relay event? I'm confident sponsors wouldn't think any less of you and you'd be a lot fitter to enjoy the game and post match drinks.
  18. I'd prefer Raith, it's a lovely town Raith is.
  19. Would you take him back? Relegated twice in three years, can't see it myself.
  20. I'd just like to point out that's two finals in two seasons for County. Something I'd love to see us emulate and to refer to the Challenge Cup as a diddy cup is disrespectful to teams outwith the SPL. :irritated:
  21. That was shocking. Not like last year, no. The losers went on to win the league. Can anyone remember what happened last time County won the Challenge Cup? I hope it's not an omen, another year in the second division could have a major effect on them financially. Although it would be funny to watch Tangoman explain himself, you can't buy success without money Jimmy.
  22. Why is there no whoosh smiley? I was talking about match fixing, not altering expired predictions as results come in.
  23. Google it! 9. Why does the census ask about the Scots language? In consultation on the content of the 2011 Census questionnaire, information about languages, including the Scots language, was frequently requested. The Scots language is also one of the UK minority languages covered by Part II of the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages, which was ratified by the UK Government in 2001.
  24. Is it pure coincidence that admin is hundreds of points clear at the top of the league. I smell something rotten. Scotty how much does it cost to fix matches these days?
  25. Feck them You forgot your tongue in cheek smiley.
