Surely then, we should be looking to UEFA to be funding improvements at grass root level to improve the game for everyone? I believe the SPL2 proposal to be no more than a cash grab by the SPL leaving the teams in the SFL with even less than they have at the moment. Those clubs are a big part of their communities identity.

Why be aggrieved that he achieved more in a few years at our club than many do. Were you aggrieved when Wyness went to St Mirren? When Barrowman went to County? When Vigurs went to County? In any professional team sport transfers are part and parcel with the set-up. Adam gave us a good run in the 1st and probably sealed promotion for us but his development as a player is not something he owes to ICT although he will have learned here. There is so much wrong with that statement.

I'm uncomfortable with implications that DFS cares less about the club than a manager who has been here two years and will likely move on when the opportunity arises. This is a local club for local people.

Obviously havent seen or heard any footage but that was my immediate thought .... Say what you like about him, but he is not a stupid man. Velvet glove, Iron Fist springs to mind !!! He's as entitled to his opinion of his preferred format the same way as any of us are. We can agree or disagree with him as that is our choice but there have been a few posts in various threads this afternoon that amount to somewhat of a character assassination. Lets wind it in a bit with the overly personal stuff please. I would also respectfully disagree that he is motivated by greed !!! If he was, then his greed gene must have fallen out as he entered the doors at the TCS ! He has put far more into the club both publicly and privately, and at crucial times, than he has ever got back or is ever likely to. Yes it gives him a louder voice than the rest of us but it doesnt give him a profitable return on his bank balance which ultimately he must want if he is greedy like you say ! He may be ruthless in his other business ventures, but where ICT is concerned he has used that ruthlessness and business savvy to get us through a few difficult times with no return other than higher profile or good (and sometimes bad) PR. Totally agree with you but want to add he will protect the investment he has put into ICT the best way he sees fit and that might not always be what's best for the club, the fans or the sport. I can remember being puzzled when plans were announced for a new community radio station. Who would want to listen to that? The rest as they say is history and the future of TV is going to be online anyway so if they have a fraction of the success of MFR they're onto a good thing. Just please keep Tich off it, he's got a great face for radio.

At least Dundee now know for sure what they have to do to avoid relegation and I'm quite sure they'll manage it. They just have to get the financial side in order which is a much harder task.
