:_talktalktalk: Of course you did, thousands for us I could stretch to believe against Old Firm opposition, hundreds for Clach on the other hand? :_lol:
  2. the simplest of Johnny Foreigner's odd un-English names? Such as? he couldn't even pronounce the name of the club Can you? I find it strange that the announcers role has become such an office of high esteem that it is envied by the masses. If you want Don back just say so, don't attack others when they are doing their own best.
  3. It's difficult to judge a statement without the evidence but I doubt he means to rely solely on the youth team but most likely use more of the youngsters than in previous seasons. The experience the kids get will either make or break them and we'll maybe see some broken ones up our neck of the woods some day soon. Every league is tough especially when relying on a lot of less experienced players.
  4. My first SPL game at TCS was in the South Stand.
  5. And you chose not to answer the question but would rather skirt the issue. I was under the impression the season was under way on Saturday as we had our first competitive match and as Jaggie 1994 pointed out it is the league that starts in a week and a half. I may be wrong but I believe it takes a big man to admit when he's wrong.

Can I take that back, I can still taste them. :_argghh:
  7. Why do folks expect a pre-season frienly between two teams who are not ready for competitive matches to be anything better than a run out kick about? That's a bit OTT is it not? It is not racism at all, that would have been calling them hose a, hose b...... He was saving himself the embarassment of possibly miscalling the visitting players names. It might have been an idea to have Dani announce the team lines as he wasn't starting? Amateur is having a swipe at the club when they have done nothing at all which could be interpretted as being in the slightestwrong.
  8. This is more like it. Calder Tokely Dodds Mann Hastings Hayes Duncan Cowie Brewster Robson Wyness Subs: Esson Munro Golabek Wilson Juanjo Ritchie
  9. Todays team? I'd have Cowie.

I had a pie and a balti pie from the servery in the main stand, both of which were very nice but expensive. Still prefer Murdoch's pies though.
  11. I take a lot of positives from the game, Nick Ross has a good bit of pace and skill but is still a bit lightweight being easily brushed aside in challenges. Kenny Gillet looks comfortable on the ball and easily disposessed the opposition on several occasions where we would normally have been left exposed, he also found his way up the park a few times in support when we shouldn't have needed it. Gil Blumenshtein has yet to convince me he is as good as he said he is in the press, no better than what we had already although no worse. McCann again turned in a solid performance also giving support up the park when needed. Eric was outstanding and would have been a cert to score but for the opposition getting everyone and his granny back into the box when they were dispossessed. I am feeling quite confident that we'll be ready when Celtic come calling a week Saturday. If we have a full squad to choose from then even better.
  12. Bienvenida a Castille Longman.
  13. :_fart: Welcome Dave.
  14. Was it not Raith? I totally agree they should start if available and then be substituted if/when they get tired.
  15. That was at the instigation of the Co-op. :_thumbup:
  16. There was a loud bang when he got back to the bench, I think he was unhappy at being pulled and his injury is a face saving exercise. Having said that I am delighted to see that the team are getting a bit of grit and passion in them before the season proper kicks off. Happy days. :_header:
  17. There would also be a large wad from the car park charges imposed. Where were the collectors on Saturday?
  18. As I recall, it's your good self that keeps on biting Oz! :_cry:
  19. County at home, get the derby and the dosh.
  20. It kind of does though. :_lol: "You've s***ed the c*** of the devil for too long and now you're going to have to swallow." That is inspiring. **slams door on way out to find gypsies**
  21. Injury prone defender from Arsenal Youth Academy, not a good combo in my book (Injury prone defender that is). Apparently was on trial but not much in the media, went home last week I believe and won't be signing. (at least I hope not, wages are for playing staff - not crocked staff)
  22. If they go out it will have an adverse effect on our co-efficient. Come on the Bhoys. (plus they need a few extra games to tire them out and cause them fixture problems later on)
  23. When compared to teams on a similar budget I think we'll do OK. If there is ambition to exceed our previous campaigns then I agree we need to shore up the defense and bring in a couple of attack minded utility players.
  24. Oh dear. :_thumbdown:
  25. So, ?2 each way? Is this what you meant? Isn't that a bit of a price hike? In which case 2 of us would be cheaper with a taxi. Not if you use your bus pass. :_moon:
