ICT fan's Old Firm preference...
Why are you intrigued? Personally I can't stand either of them. Bigotted bile either side you fall so no thanks.

Thats the last straw now
So for 5 months you've been enjoying free football? Now you've been caught and it's everyone elses fault? You'll find that the season ticket was and still is the property of ICT anyway and as you hadn't maintained your credit agreement they have reclaimed it. If you wish to continue to enjoy the games I suggest you pay at the gate for the rest of the season, it's a win win for the club and yourself as they "continue" to get your financial support and you continue to watch the team on their resurgence.

SPL ponders expansion plans ....
But they need the Scottish game more than the Scottish game needs them. Time to call their bluff.

SPL ponders expansion plans ....
Finland play 26 games in a 14 team league. This could release the ugly sisters to tour the states or wherever and generate spondoolachs. Win win?

SPL ponders expansion plans ....
Sweden play 30 games in a 16 team league, I'm sure fans would be willing and able to shell out more per game if there are less games to pay for and Scotty's idea about a revamp of the cups could make them more interesting (qualifying leagues tables? More teams in the mix?). I''m sure it can be done.

Keith Alexander
Condolences his family and his colleagues/team/fans, etc. I fail to see how the cause of black managers differs from other managers though.

Wayne Bridge
The thing about unspoken rules is that they are also unheard. If one of my mates went off with my ex, I'd have to buy him glasses, a stiff drink and a course of penicillin. ;)

Butcher and Malpas
I said before that I didn't think he was the man for the job and I am happy to admit I was wrong. He could have kept us in SPL but failed, the fact he stayed and has actively sought a new deal coupled with the recent form displayed shows his commitment and that he is still learning his trade (getting better). Another season and I think we'll be back in the SPL, I think Dundee will be too strong in the run in this season.

Where is the money?
I am fully aware that Sutherland is from Inverness, I am also aware that he has ploughed cash into the club, the only thing I was questioning is whether his approach might alienate some other businesses being involved in the club. While yes he is the best known businessman in the town the second best known is Alan Savage, I reckon that since his difference of opinions with Sutherland the club will have lost at least 100k a season from sponsorship etc. Without wanting to start an arguement your post implied that ICT had lost it's local identity when DS took the reins. ?100,000 sponsorship a season? Sounds like a shirt sponsorship deal to me, is that the case? Is Mr Savage going to put his constellation on ICT's shirts?

Where is the money?
I'd like to point out that David Sutherland is in fact a born and bred Invernessian and is the best known businessman locally. He has ploughed a significant amount of cash into the club and at the moment if he reads these pages he'll be wondering why he bothered.

What do you mean, where he's coming from? Are you a racist or what? :026:

It is transferred from a loathing of the media circus that always surrounds their national team. 1966 - 44 years ago they won and they still refer to it at every opportunity. I'd better clarify my point. I don't hate the English nor am I racist. I don't care who beats them. :026:

Ayr game on/off thread
Snow what snow? I drove from Dundee up to Aberdeen, Oldmeldrum, Turriff, Banff then on to Inverness, not a bit of snow on the road. I was expecting to see Inverness covered in snow when I got back, where is it. Ps, Alex thanks for the loan of your sat nav. Where are you really? :026:

Actually I think you'll find that your first statement is racist but then again I expect nothing less from you. That's not quite right is it? The English are not a race, I suppose you could liken them to a mongrel. Normans, Saxons, Romans, West Indians, Asians, etc., etc...... So predictable isn't it.
