I dont like Micks idea . If your going to censor someones post at least have the balls to put your name to it . It is not censorship DC, it is moderation and if your posts are deemed in need of moderation then perhaps you should take an introspective look. I have had posts deemed by particular mods to be inappropriate which in hindsight probably were, but at the time I felt they were justified. For a short period I then took to scrutinising every post of that mod which I saw and picked fault where I could which is not only childish but detracts from the experience/purpose of the forum. Personally, I believe it's an excellent idea.

In principle the idea of a pub beside the ground is good. In practice it would take a lot of hard work at a time when pubs are closing their doors for good in numbers every week. It would take a hefty investment to build from scratch but there is an alternative, vacate the ground floor of the stadium barring dressing rooms and holding cells and you've got a decent sized shell for a bar/restaurant. Admin/offices can be relocated within the building. I wouldn't fancy sharing a bar with OF fans though to be honest.

It wouldn't cost the club anything to get rid of him now, if it was considered that he was acting or behaving in a manner which contravened the terms and conditions of his contract. We don't know nor should we know, the terms of his contract. I expect he will be there 'til the end of the season and no matter what he'll be offski then. Shan't shed any tears though.

Back in those days the OF didn't have the stranglehold on the finances. Football was taught in schools. Every BB company, scout troop, school, etc. had a team/teams and competed in their own leagues. A good young player could find himself in two or three teams competing in different organised leagues. This is not a football issue but a society issue, things are changing and not for the better.

Please think about what you have just posted. I find it disturbing coming from an ICT fan. Why? do you consider us one of the giants of European Football, we are a wee club nothing to be ashamed in that. So should Terry Butcher be embarassed about managing our "wee" team? Are you embarrased to support our "wee" team? At least he has shown he's not a quitter by sticking at football management, he obviously has a passion for the game and who knows what he can expect if he achieves promotion? Maybe a move to a "bigger" team than us. John Terry would be lucky to be managing a "wee" team like ours in 20 years time.
