  1. Agreed. If the ugly sister got taken over and money became available, he'd be offski again.
  2. Alternately, when you think it can't get any better.
  3. That's an interesting point actually. I was discussing with someone recently, if everyone in Inverness who weren't born there, were told to leave, how many people would be left. Not that many I reckon. I can't understand why that would come up in any conversation unless off course your name is Nick Griffin.
  4. :cold01: I wonder if Grant reads these pages.
  5. Would Charlie's Cafe not count? Is Polish the new Italian?
  6. I never heard anything about Bilbao but remember the disbelief when Barca were touted, they did actually have their pre-season over here though which is possibly where the rumours stemmed from.
  7. Peter Corbett & Bill Alexander can walk with their heads held high. How much of our money is squandered by these hapless councillors?
  8. That one was quite obvious really because all the fans at the closest end are wearing sunglasses to try and look cool but the fans at the other end don't need to because they are cool.
  9. I've still got "fast single handed action".
  10. Most memorable would have been "Striker" that my brothers & I got as a shared present from our Uncle about '72 or '73. I used to love playing that until someone got carried away and pushed down on the players heads too hard breaking them. Gutted!
  11. Alternatively, it could read "Ex-captain of Engerland".
  12. I hope you're putting a few quid on that? Then you can buy us the league.
  13. Back in those days the OF didn't have the stranglehold on the finances. Football was taught in schools. Every BB company, scout troop, school, etc. had a team/teams and competed in their own leagues. A good young player could find himself in two or three teams competing in different organised leagues. This is not a football issue but a society issue, things are changing and not for the better.
  14. sorted
  15. He was on trial there but don't know if they have signed him.
  16. Good luck to them. But don't quote me on that.
  17. Please think about what you have just posted. I find it disturbing coming from an ICT fan. Why? do you consider us one of the giants of European Football, we are a wee club nothing to be ashamed in that. So should Terry Butcher be embarassed about managing our "wee" team? Are you embarrased to support our "wee" team? At least he has shown he's not a quitter by sticking at football management, he obviously has a passion for the game and who knows what he can expect if he achieves promotion? Maybe a move to a "bigger" team than us. John Terry would be lucky to be managing a "wee" team like ours in 20 years time.
  18. Tell me you didn't just say "jings". :dancing03: Oh Crivens, help ma Boab.
  19. Please think about what you have just posted. I find it disturbing coming from an ICT fan.
  20. Have you just come off the Ferry? :dancing03: I'm not sure I follow what you mean? I mean are you serious or have you only just started following ICT? Would you rather Grassa Bennett got his boots back on? Would Daisy Ross have competed at this level? I could go on all night.
  21. Bazza & Wyness? :dancing03: 6 month cntract?
  22. Have you just come off the Ferry? :dancing03: Relegation candidates tend to have a lot more at stake. Personally I am thankful that Butcher stuck with the same team as they now have another 90 minutes together and another 3 points. Onwards and upwards.
  23. Nail hit on the head there Mannie, what is success and what is failure? We as fans have varied expectations but it's what the clubs expectations are that matters and what Butcher himself has been tasked with.
  24. No-one has said we have a divine right to win every game, nor to win the league. What we would expect is to be competing at least near the top and not sitting in the bottom half of the table. The team above us were competing in Division two last season. We've come a long way, right enuff.
  25. Was there that night, right result but celebrations stopped short on hearing the news.
