  1. Can we change it to Rooney then? I want my npl points!
  2. h-t 0-0 f-t 1-1 1st us rooney 1st them Riorden crowd 3211
  3. Agree with Caley D but £170 is a lot for a 16 yr still at school and who is not working and unlikely to be due to us living rurally.Guess who is going to have to cough up?
  4. Have to say that I think its pretty harsh that over 16s still in school also have to pay a student fee whick is nearly a £100 mort than a junior. Has this always been the case?
  5. It is indeed and it's just minutes, 4-5 minute walk to the away end. You will see the stadium on the way in on the train as it slows down. Thank you Iain think this may be doable now train wise.
  6. Is Hamilton West the nearest railway station and if so how far is it to walk to the ground?
  7. Davie I have decide to go in disguise and to sit as far away from anyone else at possible!
  8. After saturday tend to agree!
  9. Would like to pick option 1 and 2 - priority should always be to win or the paying punters are short changed but this doesnt mean we cant put out a team of departing players who deserve a chance to say goodbye.
  10. For some reason it looked worse all round in real life than it did on the telly. We should appeal on principal imo.
  11. Totally off topic I know but did anyone notice that on saturday Dunfermline surpassed the points total that Dundee would have had without the points deduction. Therefore Dunfermline would have been promoted anyway.
  12. Hoping to be there plus 2
  13. Dont think there would be much point in appealing the sending off but agree the defender made the most of it to get a fellow pro sent off.
  14. Well thats an afternoon of my life I'll never get back! 1st half dire lets leave it at that. Same 2nd really until the Duncan incident and the bar/post kept denying rooney. Was beginning to think it wasnt our day until the goal. Poor Russell Duncan - I knew as soon as he raised his head what was coming unfortunatly. For one horrible minute thought Foran was going to lose the plot too. Good on Esson having a go at their keeper when warming up. 7th place confirmed. Hope we can get over the 50 points now but this will always feel like the season that should have had us top 6 at last.Oh and we may still have another say in who gets relegated.
  15. Thanks for that Don was starting to think I was losing it reading all the praise being heaped on this ref. Ive seen worse this season thats all Ill say.
  16. h-t 2-0 f-t 3-1 1st us Rooney 1st them Higdon crowd 3678
  17. Bowling was great as usual. Thanks to all involved.
  18. Jaggie994 I have to agree with the point that CaleyD is making and agree that I think the crux of his argument is being missed. Did you read my post near the beginning of the thread where I stated that I get behind the team just as much as others if not more and have never had trouble in all the years I have been going to nay football games and never been singled out by stewards. I would argue with anyone that they shout louder or jump up more than I do, I'm sure TB and MM heard me shouting on Saturday and they were nearly 100 yards away. The difference with me is that I sit away from the crowd and therefore am not seen as 'one of the lads' or one of 'that group' who the stewards continually speak to. Now I am not saying that being in the group or area of the group should cause problems but it clearly does and nor am I saying that the group or crowd cause all the problems but i think they aggrivate the situation. I do sympathise at times with guys on here who post about why they have been ejected and for some of the petty reasons for why they have been ejected but it's like I have said get a little street wise. On the whole those that are ejected are in the large group that the stewards focus on. As for Govan Jaggie yes your case is ridiculous and I would be taking that up with the club as well as with Aberdeen direct and continue until you get an answer from them. In terms of stewards they are glorified door men and have no right or legal right to lay one finger on you including pulling you from your seat or the ground, for this you can easily have them charged with assault or at least a complaint made to the police no matter how much they or the police may tell you that you cannot. A simple word of warning to them that if they lay a finger on you you will report them or you will defend yourself as you feel threatened should be enough to deter them for fear of a complaint or their job. This piece of advice was given to me by a police officer. If the police at the ground don't take you seriously go to a police station where they will. There were NO police wirhin the stadium on saturday and despite asking for the police, stewards did remove folk using force - fact.
  19. I didnt hear the radio interview when TB may have mentioned reconsidering but did watch the espn one online and didnt get the impression he was reconsidering at all! Hope Im wrong tho.
  20. think Sat was a bad day at the office tbh and I know there has been a few of them this season before anyone else comes on to say so.
  21. In reply to foolphysio I have done as suggested. However complained to Hibs about a certain steward earlier in season but no reply was received> However the Hibs fans received replies and it just contained a recitation of the rules so dont expect much this time. This time however I did feel more vunerable due to the lack of police. Have been doing a bit of homework on this and am contimuing to do so. The stewards were much ruder than usual and wonder if this was a factor. However after last night nothing can upset me today. BTW had a great laugh with our stewards after the match in the bar last night. What a difference a bit of civility and humour makes. Wonder if ACE train their personel differently to G4S or is it jsut that its local guys working for a local firm?
  22. Great idea op. Lets all try and make this happen for Grant.
  23. OK I should have believed! However on this occasion delighted to have predicted wrong.
