  1. Yip us too! Why sit in section e if you dont want to be part of improving the atmosphere. Plenty room elsewhere if you dont want to join in.
  2. That was a few of the Supporters Club, at half time, celebrating the birthday of our Lady Kath ! You should have introduced yourself "sotonict" and then got a nice piece of cake - even Terry B and Rita enjoyed a slice each. Were you the fan a few rows behind us, looking longingly, but not quite brave enough to join the ladies? A nice day out, and a NoS cup to end the afternoon. Well done our boys, despite the ref (why did he get a medal!!??) Next time, sotonict, join us and have some banter. Belated happy birthday to Kath! Glad we got a win to help the celebrations.
  3. No not me but tell me more
  4. I thought you were supporting Forres today Sotonict (and they say women are fickle!)
  5. Hi guys just to let everyone know that ICT won the NOS cup at Forres this afternoon. They beat Forres 4-3. 1st half goals were from Sutherland and MacKay scored 2 , one of which was from the penalty spot. Greig scored a 4th in the 2nd half. A hard fought game which could have gone either way had Forres been better at finishing. However well done to the guys. ICT team was Tuffey, Skinner, Gillet, Murphy, Proctor, Polworth, Greig (Watson) Laing, Sutherland, McKay. Chippendale.

  7. what will they think of next? I actually think they are going out of their way to put fans off!!!!
  8. Looking forward to it! Love going back to the HL grounds for a bit of a reminise and a great opportunity to see the young up and coming players. Normally get good pics if we win too.
  9. Far too early to give my opinion yet sooz, I'll wait till the run up to Xmas before i'll comment that way they should all have played more regularly and settled in My real worry is the majority are inexperienced kids while we punted experience(Munro and Duncan) dougal Crikey Dougal heres a first!! I actually agree with you!
  10. This thread has me totally lost!!!!!!
  11. Reading the book has reawakened old memories of the merger which wasnt an exciting time for me some of them are horrible really. For the record I too voted against at the first meeting but yes at the other ones. I also feel now that the best thing happened as we are an spl club which was beyond our wildest dreams in those days. Caley D I have many great memories of pre merger days and do share them often. However Im not really sure if anyone who wasnt about in those days really cares how the club came into being ie the bitterness etc. Maybe thats how it should be after all the years have moved on and apart from enjoying a good read probably the majority of supporters feel like this.
  12. Johndo agree with you all the way. Dont know if Caley would have made it to the spl but we will never know if they would have now. Still CaleytillIdie too! Much as ICT is my team now I still find it hard to sing o2b. Charles I remember the merger years well and all I can say is you must have had a boring life up till then!
  13. Not me but my son ICTPingu is going to both.
  14. Was thinking about that the other day too! Think its probably forgotten about.
  15. I agree. When all the huffing and puffing was going on in the summer to push through problably ill thought out legislation too quickly I was worried that everyone was going to get tarred with the same brush. It was probably simple assault tho imo.
  16. Sort of knew that really just like the sigm that used to hang in the tunnel
  17. Someone knows where the telford st footballs are Im sure Charles! I do have a boardroon teacup and saucer and it lives in my cabinet now. The sideboard and boardroon table still lives in the boardroon at the tcs as far as I know. Tnink its a great idea to put more stuff from the past in the sports bar Caley D.
  18. I think some of the players see us as sport!
  19. Gosh forgotten how good it feels to win! The team fought hard today for the 3 points and at the end you could see how much it meant to the players as well as us. Good to see all the players celebrate - did anyone notice Tuffey running down to the north stand goal to hug Ryan Esson. Tade what a character and a real worker, so good to see it rewarded with a goal and about time something good happened for a certain Mr Shinnie I bet that goal felt good. On the down side more now in the tcs casualty ward but good to see MacKay near ready and sounds like Tansey is not going to be out for long. Hope Richie and Doran are not out for too long. Hope this is a sign of things getting better. As already said onwards and upwards.
  20. Oh well here goes! h-t 0-0 f-t 2-1 1st us Foran 1st them Harkins crowd 3786
  21. Should be good. I like how the teams come up into the stand at Forres for the presentation and the pics on the pitch.
  22. Bet youll not be shouting that from the rafters at our stadium anytime soon!
  23. Agree with ICT Paisley its almost as if no one dares to criticise Terry. That does not mean that anyone is calling for his head. People are/were upset and are entitled to voice concern. Terry himself has apologised to ALL the supporters for last night - he himself knows that the performance was not acceptable. Where has anyone said he is "rubbish and that we would be well rid of him! because I cant find it?
  24. Not the worst by a long shot imo. Was really fed up last night but weve just got to get on with it and hopefully it will come soon. May be a long long season tho.
  25. I would be happy to service you regularly and any others interested. But what were your picks ? Well that an offer to consider!!!!! Was at the game and did vote. Think it was Morrison Shinnie (G) and Foran if I remember correctly but then again as Im getting old my memory is not so good lol
