  1. Take your pick from Dods, Munro, Hastings, Tokes, McBain, Rankin, Duncan, Wilson, Dargo or Bayne. Anyone of them could score our 5th in the first half against the 'Tic whilst all other games stay 0-0. I didn't mention Michael Fraser 'cos that would just be stupid! :003:
  2. Confirmed: Mike Newell has now been approached by Borat Sagdiyev to become new manager of Khazakhstan's national team.
  3. He's probably got another job lined up already. Decided to get what he wants by ranting on, getting the sack, pay off from his current club and preventing his new club from paying compensation! More money for him to spend on players in January! He's a winner! :021:
  4. After watching Barca / Chelsea on ITV tonight and the biased crap spoken it is confirmed: Clive Tyldesley is a W####R! :******:
  5. Look at it this way. At least we may get some decent pies, considering Delia's connection!

Too many replies to read so apologies if this was said elsewhere. I just get the impression that Christie refuses to drop him because he is "his" player. The guy he chased for so long and paid a club record fee for. No matter what he does CC will stand by him to either prove a point or that he is afraid to concede that a player he raved about has not been up to standard, So Far! What I have seen this season he has been rotten. Done little and his confidence seems to have lowered week by week. I thought he was bought as an attacking midfielder so I wonder why he hasn't really been played as one? I was sure he would have been hooked instead of Roy on saturday and at the time was amazed he wasn't taken off. Then I thought he had 20 minutes to keep his place in the team. When he did score his first though I cheered louder than anyone and am glad he has the monkey off his back. So good luck to him for the rest of the season and hopefully we might see just what so many others in the game were raving about.
  7. With all the talk of Brewster maybe getting the heave ho, have we overlooked someone maybe more deserving of the chop? Brewster is recent history but someone who most fans loathe and love to see suffer could be next to cash his Giro....... Ian McCall. No wins, fans detest him and he's off swanning around Europe with the BBC giving his expert opinion when he should be at home trying to get his own team sorted out. Which would we prefer? Hmmmmmmmmmm ?
  8. 2 reasons why we won today. 1st: Latapy ran out of steam. When his legs went they had no way of getting the ball forward. Without him they seem to struggle. 2nd: The keeper had a mare! Welcome back any time mate. You were shocking! MoM - Despite losing I thought it would have gone to Latapy who was excellent. Completely ran the game. If we could have taken him out earlier by man marking or whatever the result might have been more comfortable. A lesson surely for the next game.

The fact is that the announcer is an official rep of ICT. His jokey comment was funny the first week but now the never ending slagging and slating is not really acceptable and is actually disrespectful despite what Mr Brewster did to us! What does it say about ICT professionalism and respect for other clubs if comments like that are made every week by a club rep? I would say keep the remarks for the social club or this kind of site. If he wants to have a dig just be a bit more subtle!
  10. Brewster " lack of communication" Where does it start? He is the most inarticulate manager I have ever seen. His media skills are appalling so I wonder how does he get his point across without mumbling or droning? He always seems indecisive and unsure about himself and what he wants to say so what does he think about his team? Who cares!
  11. My usual bet at game is £5 on 1-0 win, Tokely to score. Nearly had it a few seasons ago but Falkirk ruined it in the last 8 minutes. Yesterday saw the odds 60-1 but decided not to bother. Why didn't I go for it. I would have been £300 up! :007: Was anyone else so lucky
  12. we fell to about 86th or thereabouts.

Are Gretna now being found out? 4-0 drubbing on Saturday and another defeat tonight 3-2 at County in the cup. Hopefully more of the same to come for them this season.
  14. That'd be great. I better tell you beforehand though that I've got a little flatulence problem at the moment. The doc say's it isn't noticeable after about 45 minutes as long as we keep the windows wide open. Also I'm having curry for dinner tonight so there is always the possibility of a double reek! :blush02: So if the lift is still on then great. Can i bring my Cliff Richard greatest hits CD for the journey. cheers mate !

Is it really that big a deal? Who gets a slap on the back every time from their boss? They are doing what is expected of them as players. I'm sure he say's all he needs to in the changing room or on the training field.

I don't usually like to see Scottish teams humbled in Europe but last night was an exception. I'm sick to death of the Gretna bandwagon. Last night they were brought back down to earth and shown for what they really are. An over-rated team and manager. Alexander has always had a team of players of standard at least 2 divisions higher than they were playing in. Not much of a challenge for a manager really. Last night he was shown to be tactically clueless and static in his approach to games. They were lucky to get to Europe thanks to their cup run of playing against 1st div teams or lower. If they had won the cup then and beaten Prem. teams then ok they would deserve their place but they were hardly challenged en route to the final. Hibs, Killie, Aberdeen and dare I even say ICT were far more deserving of a place after playing an SPL season. Gretna's performance in Europe is a real smack in the face now for Scottish football. Derry? What could have happened against a far better team? I wouldn't want to think! Hopefully I will see a real season for Gretna this year. St J, Dundee, an improved Partick and (going against the grain) County will give them something to think about. Rant over !
  17. A return for Bagan
  18. What do you mean Ross County finding their true level ?
  19. Scottish younger teams have always done ok. It's the next step up to senior level that has been the problem. Not fulfilling potential and all that. Hopefully this time it will be different. More of them getting a chance at their respective clubs and making the grade.
  20. 3 game ban and a 3k fine for ZZ after he retires. What's the point. Why not just give him a decent fine and give it to a kids club or something? FIFA on the ball yet again
  21. Caley Mad just for your info: Sep. 1993 Punch up with Marcel Desailly - both sent off Aug. 1995 Slaps Thorsten Fink in the face Oct. 1995 Off for tackle from behind Sep. 1996 For Juve off after 2 bookings Jan 1997 Punches Chiesa of Parma June 1998 In World Cup stamps on Saudi captain Fuad Amin Oct 1998 2 footed challenge on Inter player Paulo Sousa Oct 1999 Off for diving Sep 2000 Champions League off for late tackle on Emerson, Deportivo Oct 2000 5 game ban after butting Jochen Kientz, SV Hamburg Feb 2004 Pushing pablo Alfaro, Seville, in the face May 2004 2nd yelllow after crazy late challenge against Deportivo April 2005 Tries to punch Villareal defender, Alvarez in the face July 2006 World cup final headbutt Way to go. But he always remembers Mothers Day and likes puppy dogs !
  22. Shame nothing. It was his own doing that he was sent off. If he had been wrongly sent off or been injured or whatever then I may feel a little sorry for him, but that. No way! Thuggery Because he is a skillful player he is classed as temperamental. I would say dirty. He has been sent of before for butting, stamping, punching etc. 14 times he's seen red - 2 more than Vinnie Jones! What a record. Adieu ZZ
  23. This is the second time Fiorentina have been relegated in the last 10 or so years. The last time was for admin reasons I think when they were dumped right down to the bottom. Good enough for them. There should be no right to appeal. Dodgy refs and players? Imagine Celtic and / or Rangers getting dumped down to playing East Stirling and the like on a Saturday. :clapping04: Surely someone out there knows something to help our cause ! Please !!
  24. But will the Beige sock King, Andy "OK to take a dive" Walker, Graeme " it is incredulous pontificality" Speirs and the like still not be there? More of the same dross I fear.
  25. Interesting to read that Poll has retired from International games! :015: He said he feels it is right to give another English ref a chance. He is another of those arrogant self loving refs who think the crowd has turned up to watch him. Along the lines of Frisk. Good rid. to him. Now if we can only get Calum Murray, Iain Brines, Dougie MacDonald and co. onto the International scene! Highlight their mistakes and make them retire, completely!
