There are plenty of songs you just need to learn them. The support is getting louder.... I've been sitting behind the goals in the North Stand since ... well since we moved to TCS but the main problem has been since we got rid of the terracing and it was harder for the "singers" to congregate in the same place. From the games so far this season there has been a collection of guys/girls willing to make noice sitting in the same place, the banter seems to be getting better and the noice will obviously increase. More will learn and do the same until eventually we will have a singing section. The main sand has always been for the sad ba5tards that prefer to sit with a prawn sandwich, thermal flask and a blanket over their knees :016:
  2. goooooooooooooooo team!!! Well said though, I would love to find out what these muppets are doing about the marketing of the club. It seems they are going day by day when they should really be planning for the future, they can't exactly be that busy

Well what are you doing still posting on an ICT forum then???? Is it because no one else will speak to you??? :009:
  4. I don't think he's that bad tbh... his tunes are a bit gash but his banter is generally spot on

Tokely became a good player under Pele when pele realised he wasn't a defensive midfielder and was a better asset to the team at right back. He hasn't played any worse since the season he got player of the year it is just now we have better players around him....
  6. Fair play on before Rangers :010: :010: Even Graham Spiers managed to almost sound magnanamus How Andy Walker can have an opinion when he knows so little about ICT is beyond me, he just opens wide and lets the 5hite flow :008: :008: Nice to see Brown getting some much deserved credit

  8. Broonie Tokely Dods Munro Hastings Duncan Black Keogh Wilson Rankin Dargo If we're going to get anything from Celtic we're gonna have to catch them on the counter so hopefully we'll see another solid display from our defense with Duncan & Black picking up the scraps from midfield and distributing the ball to the pace of Keogh, Rankin, Wilson and Dargo. If we are gonna get 3 points and get rid of the home form hoodoo now would be a cracking time to do it!!

would definately be an idea to have someone spare in midfield, with Petrov on the form he is currently and Nakamura floating across the midfield it would be worth having someone sitting behind Black and Rankin. If a striker is to be dropped I'd expect it to be Wyness although he would probably do a better job holding the ball up than Dargo.

eeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhh :010: :010: :010: Were you watching the same game??? Apart from a few over zealous challenges I thought he was excellent, was strong in the challenge and supported attack whenever he got a chance. Sproules pace would cause any defender problems but he was obviously kept under wraps enough as we kept a clean sheet. I had him down under Dods and Black as our best performer

No! We're offering Dods first team football and all we are asking is that he fullfill his contract. I think Webster has a case because he can prove he was a first team regular before he put in his transfer request and has now been denied first team football and a transfer anywhere

agreed, that is the most important thing!! I think it was a bit harsh to say we lacked invention but more that both defenses were on form. I think we had more clear cut chances than Hibs but they did put us under a lot of pressure and especially when Sproule was let loose at Rossco. Broonie Rossco Dods Munro Hastings That is our defense and should not be tampered with unless ofcourse injury becomes an issue!!! All of them were superb and got stuck in when necessary even if it was slightly excessive. Brown I'm sure it must part of his contract that he has to have a new goalie top each week or he wont play :015: Graeme Smith had another howler on Sat..... Walter Smith is running out of excuses :017: The save in the first half from Stewart was top drawer, he was solid throughout Rossco Legend!!! Made some important challenges and got forward whenever possible, his end product wasn't always perfect but considering he missed half of preseason and that was only heis second game back he will get better as the season goes on. Hastings Was excellent at the back and made some good runs forward but also needs to work on his crossing. Golly is gonna have to work extremely hard to get another chance at left back. Dods Could have all gone wrong yesterday but he showed his professionalism by haing a blinder. Some of my mates were giving him a bit of stick throughout the game but by the end they were cheering him on. He didn't put a foot wrong and deserved to be MOTM. Munro Solid. Cleared anything Dodsy missed Wilson looks a lot fitter than last season and was probably our biggest threat from midfield. Needs to be more clinical in the final third McBain Didn't do anything wrong but think we needed a better option on the left. He never really looked comfortable on the ball and I can't remember him once hitting the byline. I would have liked to see Zander on for the last 20 mins to run at what looked like a slow defence. Morgan wasn't even on the bench???? is he injured or has he just fallen out of favour??? Black I'll be delighted if he signs a new contracy this week. In a class of his own yesterday, considering how highly Scott Brown and Thompson are rated for hibs he was by far the best midfielder on the park. Rankin Quiet game always looked sharp when he had the ball but never really got going. Wyness Played well with his back to goal but the Hibs defense were on top form and he had no chance with the high balls that were being played in. Dargo Neds to find the net... how he missed that chance fro the corner I'll never know but he will score goals for us this season.

He was superb yesterday Fair play to the guy, he was under a lot of pressure to perform and he was solid as a rock for 90 minutes... :clapping04: :clapping04: :clapping04: :clapping04:
  14. Black was excellent IMO I think CC took him off to keep him hungry for next week, I probably would have taken McBain off and pushed Rankin out wide though. It was very nearly a master stroke if Keogh had scored that shot from distance.
  15. Clicky Wise words from Hastings After the United saga we can't complain of not getting any media coverage I liked this:
  16. Deal Done according to the record 35k
  17. not a bad shout... but would he be granted a work permit??
  18. Harry Chibber replied to big man's topic in Caley Thistle
No matter how big a player thinks he is, if he can't take criticism after a poor performance or a mistake then they have no place professional football nevermind at ICT!!
  19. ----------------------Broonie---------------------- Tokely------Dods----------Munro------Hastings ----------------------Duncan----------------------- Wilson---------------Black----------------Rankin ----------------Dargo-------Wyness-------------- Duncan man marking Scott Brown
  20. Paul Ritchie work hard???? Paul Ritchie was a typical example of a targetman, he played with his back to goal all the time and would always look to lay balls into the Wyness' path. The problem with Bayne is not his workrate but possibly that he works to hard he needs to show more composure on the ball because whenever I've seen him play as soon as he gets the ball his head goes down. If he is going to play like a targetman then he needs to stay in the same place so the midfield and defense and can always find him but half the time he is chasing after the ball which should really be left to the striker. I have to also agree with sneckfan Bayne's heading is quite poor for a big player. I think he is an excellent player to bring on for the last 20 mins of a game because of the way he hassles defenders and goalkeepers (jamie langfield :015:) but at the same time I think McCallister is more than capable of doing that. CC needs to sit him down and explain if he needs him as a targetman, if so what he expects from Bayne to fill this role.
  21. Psychlicky Hopefully this will help his performances I have had doubts that he is SPL quality but have never turn against Bayne or witnessed any other supporter do so. I would be delighted if he proves this season that we don't need anymore reinforcements upfront!!
  22. Harry Chibber replied to big man's topic in Caley Thistle
In a second!! I'll give support to anyone playing in an ICT strip, what is annoying is not only has he turned down a new contract offer (which is completely reasonable) but his agent has now asked that he is transfered clicky He obviously isn't happy at ICT anymore so I can't see why the board feel the need to keep a hold of him. He may not be responsible for how shakey the defense has been over the last 2 games but tm4tj, even you can't deny that he was at fault for the 2nd St Mirren goals and the goal at Pittodrie. No player deserves to be crusified over 2 mistakes but if it is due to him wanting to leave the club then he should go!
