  1. Much like myself, you are one of the worst for complaining that behind the scenes the club isn't up to a decent standard, so it's not just on the pitch that the club needs the extra revenue for. If we are going to atract new fans, what better way to do it than by broadcasting an occasional match here and there??? It is the way things are and it's not going to go back... so the only way to move forward is to work with the current situation. Gringo I understand it must be a major hassle for you having to book flights etc. but the club has to first and foremost work in favour of the majority who live around and about Inverness.
  2. Did anyone else feel that Dods' celebration was a wee bit excessive considering he has been tipped to leave the team?? I thought he was going to rip down the net!! It's good to see him showing so much passion, just shows he does care about the club!! The highlights showed us having plenty of chances and Rankin's miss wasn't half as bad as people are making out. Bayne looked like a menace and linked well with McCallister it seemed....
  3. To be fair, it's not as though you have not been given plenty of notice about the change in date for you to change your plans. If I was in Inverness or stayed around the area I wouldn't be too bothered but living in Stirling at least now I have the oppertunity to watch the match on TV and put some cash aside for another match. The club gets TV revenue to make up for any missing fans, fans can save money and go to the next match, yes there might be less people at the stadium but lets face it I think our players are used to playing infront of a lack luster support these days!!
  4. Get rid of tv coverage and you loose sponsership money, tv revenue & players that want their performances broadcasted to the world!! You have to balance these things but fundimentaly I think it still comes down to us needing a 16 team league. If the league is extended then we're more likely to get a good tv deal, leading to teams being able to afford class players that people will make an effort to come to matches.... as sad as it is the reason Scottish football is in such a dire state is because there isn't enough money floating about the divisions and until something is done about our league no one is going to invest anything into any other team but the OF. so yeh I agree with Bonzo aswell :010: :029:
  5. Agree with the last 3 posts!! :clapping04: :clapping04: :clapping04:
  6. we're also 3 points of 4th The difference is that Christie hasn't gone round saying how he expected the team to be competing with the top 2, I mean fair enough high expectations show ambition but try and be slightly realistic
  7. Rory had to come on for someone and if Dargo wasn't producing the goods then maybe he was right to hook him. I've always been under the impression that if you aren't getting the service then you work harder and Dargo seems to be doing the opposite. I missed the game yesterday but against Killie in particular he looked lethargic and could have easily bagged a couple more goals if linked onto one of Bayne's head flicks, I'll agree that our midfield are not producing the goods at the moment but Dargo isn't blameless
  8. Dargo has been on poor form for a while and that is no one elses fault but his own. Last season when he scored a lot of goals you would see him chasing lost causes and hassling defenders to create oppertunities, this season unless the ball is delivered on the exact spot that he wants it he wont bother his erse. We need all 11 players on the park giving their all and just because Dargo has a good record from last season doesn't mean he has the right to be in the team. How you can criticise Charlies subs anyway is baffling considering that McCallister and Zander came on created oppertunities and Rossco scored - is that not a stroke of genius??
  9. Yeh the same age but Rory has already had a couple of seasons on the bench and a taste of first team football, while Zander is still young in terms of exposure to the main squad
  10. Absolutely Priceless!!!
  11. right ok, so we played crap but managed to get the win just wait until everything clicks into place!! maybe this is the sort of game we needed to spur us on for the rest of the season
  12. I hope this isn't true
  13. Rankin will be a big player for us, I have no doubts. If he had scored yesterday you would all be singing his praises, you'll see a different player once he gets a goal.
  14. Remember these guys are still young especially Zander so Christie is right to bring them in to the squad slowly and keep the wanting more. I'd like to see Rory being given more of an oppertunity though he seems to have everything to his game, heading, pace, skill... he needs to work on his movement and finishing but that will improve with more experience and confidence. I realy think these 2 guys + Soane have a great future and I hope that Christie doesn't make the same mistake that he has done with Black by letting him get carried away with the hype. Also lllllloooooonnnngggg contracts would be recommended!!
  15. :003: :003: :003:
  16. Gallagher let in 4 today, I've just seen the goals and although Norwich had a man sent off he was at fault for at least 2 of them. Just the sort of form you'd expect from a keeper called up to our international squad. Not to mention the fact that his team are now sitting 17thin the Championship... Smith has also said that Barry Ferguson is getting straight into the first team if fully fit, so who does he drop form midfield??? Fletcher, Quashie & Hartley have arguably been the key to Scotlands recent sucess I am worried about the next 2 matches
  17. Yeh, don't worry I gave them a slating for it aswell!! The fatal mistake of a football fan but trust me their not part-time supporters That is a poor excuse for a dig at someone & not just because your point is complete rubbish. How can you say he has not improved when he started playing 2nd division opponents and is now one of the better players in an SPL team, of course he's improved
  18. aye your right Sandy, Christie should sell him on at the christmas transfer window :006: give the lad a chance eh!! he was one of the best performers against Killie last week. The whole team is low on confidence at the moment but hopefully after a win at home and a good performance against Rangers and we should be back on track.
  19. :010: :010: :010: :010: That was almost constructive :015: Have to agree with all your points. On another note I hope that CC has got Zander signed up for a long time because he is definetely a star for the future.
  20. Just off the phone with one of my mates at the game.... he missed the goal after leaving early disguted with our overall performance. Great to have the win but it sounded like the team were dreadful, lacking any creativity in the final third Christie has a lot to work to do before Ibrox next week
  21. you know it!! the mrs thinks I'm a loonie
  22. yes yes yes yes yes Rossco you ******* dancer yes!!
  23. this is so poor :017: Come on ICT!! Sounds like CC needs to change something... cos we haven't had a chance the whole second half
  24. no wyness??
  25. agree I think everyone is underestimating how good a side dunfermline are this season, they have bought extremely well but we're lucky that Simmons is likely to be out.
