It's a very unfair system IMHO , what about the fans that work shifts or who only get to see their kids every other weekend ? Should they have to buy tickets for games they have no chance of seeing ? It would prevent part time 'fans' of the ugly sisters sitting in the north stand. On this basis alone - it's a good idea.

A lot of the 'smaller' premiership clubs do this package nonsense. I phoned Stoke to buy tickets for Stoke v Man United. I could have got tickets - but I would have had to buy tickets for Stoke V Birmingham which was being played on the tuesday afterwards.

I know hearts operate a system where you can buy a ticket off their website and then print it off - would probably save a lot of hassle.

Think of it this way - Firstly, Douglas McDonald tried to amend what had happened during the game at tannadump - he tried to correct an incorrect decision. Secondly, Hooper dives, gets up and looks for a free kick. In other words he is a cheat. Yet he is not forced to apologise or forced to give up the game. There's somehing wrong with this whole situation. As Proctor said in his post above it hammered smaller clubs financially. Celtic are killing the game. Not just for themselves and their fans, but also for ICTFC and us, the fans. This vile situation is permeating the game, right down to the grass roots and youth levels. This has to change - it takes more than two teams to make up a league.

We'll need to get him over here (if the pars get up) and feed him loads of bridies at East End Park.
