  1. Well I was speaking to my mate who has a mate who was speaking to Craig Brewster's grannies dog who said this is just pure guff.
  2. Laura wants to come along for the week and do as much walking as possible. Obviously she's not entirely sure how much this'll be as she's never done anything on this scale before, but I'll do my best to drag her once she starts slacking... :016: So how many more can we take? I've got another 3 gents wishing to do it.
  3. The only confirmed names from my squad are Slater and Lady Madonna (Laura), including myself of course. There are a few others interested but I'll need to wait and see how many more we can take.
  4. I have managed to convince some of my mates to come along. Even if they don't complete the walk, they're going to do what they can. So as well as myself and Laura, the names are; Calum Slater Donald Laidlaw Michael Laidlaw Steven MacMillan Martin MacDonald
  5. Whenever the word ULTRAS is mentioned, it makes me think of violence, in particular the Roma Ultras, who are probably the most notorious group for such violence. I wouldn't like any of our supporters to be associated with this. And I don't quite understand all this Italian/Dutch nonsense. Forza? Why speak Italian? Our clubs roots are Scottish, and if you are so insistent on creating a group then I'd agree with Calum, decide on a name with something like 'Clan' or 'Clansmen' in it. It's original, it's different and I quite like it. Oh, and scrap the 'loyal army' chant too.
  6. It's nowhere near Aberdeen in fact Chibber, it's Keith... :014:
  7. A resounding NO from me. How we could take him back after blatantly using our club as a 'stepping stone', and after his abysmal record at United, is just beyond me. I was extremely hacked off at Ibrox, he seemed scared to make a substitution! When he did eventually make them, it was far too late to have an impact on the game. I just didn't understand some of his decisions, ie. taking Black off. However, I am pleased that finally, he has realised that Ross Tokely is a disgrace. Too slow, too clumsy and too much of a liability to the team. He'd look more at home in a wrestling ring. Congratulations Brew. Having said this, I am a firm believer in giving new managers time. Let's just wait and see who he buys, if anyone, in January.
  8. I know we CAN do it, but I have a bad feeling about this one. A 2-1 defeat I reckon. Italy will turn it on for this game I'm afraid. :019:
  9. :015: "A bit suspect" ; his passing was atrocious! I was quite impressed with young Stuart Leslie and Deano. The right back and Guy Kerr played well. Wilson started off brightly, with some decent runs... but, as always, tired very early. He has some beer belly on him! Mr. Rankin and Mr. Wilson need to watch their language too. The referee was from Keith and blatantly biased though.
  10. I'll be there in my kilt with the Highland March crew, plus 6 others. Looking forward to a great atmosphere... fingers crossed.
  11. With it being in the heat of the moment, though, it's not something I consciously do, it's just borne out of frustration. I never swear at an individual. I certainly would not sing songs I know contain bad language.
  12. Yes I have, but I am always conscious of who is around me and would never sing or shout anything abusive if there are kids. Whenever I have sworn it is always in the heat of the moment, say, for example, the ref makes a bad decision against us. I would never sing a song with bad language in it though.
  13. So you condone profanity in an environment with young children?
  14. Not so fussed about McSwegan's departure to be honest, I never agreed with the decision to sign him anyway. Quite disappointed about Johno Smith though, as he was a mate of mine in school and had plenty of potential. Although not the tallest of guys, he was great between the sticks. Didn't see much of Soane, but as the above report states, we have plenty of depth in midfield so there's no use in him going to waste here. Good luck to them all.
  15. Have you been to Tannadice? Or any other away game for that matter? Believe me, it's not just ICT that has this problem.
  16. A good point which has been made 5,381 times now. But never in such a horrid font.
  17. Certainly not to the same extent as Gretna. People keep saying that Gretna's rise up the leagues over the last few seasons has been a 'fairytale'. What crap. Anyone could've done it with a bit of money. OUR rise up the leagues has been the real fairytale, Gretna are impostors! I hope the whingey fecker is there, slating him is half the fun on a visit to Tannadice.
  18. Don't watch it then Adam. Everyone knows it's gash. If I've missed a goal I'll see it on North Tonight.
  19. Everyone to their own, I suppose. Personally I would never pay to watch another team (unless it was Scotland or my English team, Everton!), certainly not a rival AND a team who buy their way to success. THAT is a waste of money in my opinion. I'm sure it'll be a great game, but I'm not fussed who wins, I don't like either of them.
  20. Essentially a friendly? Our season is not over, we still have 7th place and a few extra quid for the summer to play for. Our team needs all the support it can get. Fair enough, it's cheaper... but I don't go to see County play because I don't support them.
  21. Personally, I'm in the Inverness end. In Dundee. Watching my team play. Whether County go down or not doesn't concern me. I don't support them. :017:
  22. Brown Caff - Dods - Munro - Hastings Wilson - Hart - Black - Morgan Wyness - Dargo I'd drop Rossco. Slow, clumsy and gets caught out of position too many times. Half the time he's further up the field than anyone else in the team. Don't get me wrong, it's great having a right back who can make runs up the wing, but if he's got no pace to get back then we're buggered. Too many times I've seen him caught out, attempting to run back to defend, realising he's not catching his opponent so he scythes him down. I know it's not going to be a popular opinion. I think that CC is too timid to drop certain players. Rossco gets selected week in, week out as he's a fans' favourite; he's been a loyal servant to the club for years. Fair play to him. I just don't think he cuts it as an SPL footballer I'm afraid. Sorry. I await my verbal beating...
  23. Nice one Don! I see you've left the swear in too, hehe!
