  1. Ditto to that. Cox had a good second half but missed Russell's influence and experience around him.
  2. Foran's late winner, the celebration, the obvious joy of what it meant to them as a TEAM.......................that's the stuff champions are made of......................
  3. Well made it and extremely happy and glad I did. only drawback is I've had to abandon the motor at Keith this morning and take the train as the A96 is blocked. Aw well, can pick it up on Saturday on the way up for the Raith game..............hopefully another three points!!
  4. I'm planning leaving Aberdeen around 4.00PM, dreading the Glens of Foudland, will be seriously pi**ed off if another late call off...................
  5. Never been a problem for shy old me, a lot of the exiles travel alone and meet up at the games or en-route. Caley 100 referred to the old site which had a distinct advantage, most of our photos were posted on there (and Scotty kept it up to date with some good days/nights out) so you could spot a few familiar faces initially. That's how I got to meet Mantis and Wanderer, just approached them one day at Ayr and said "you're the two ugly C**ts from the Caley site"..............the rest as they say is history!! One regret, they introduced me to "tight wad" naelifts..........

    Best places

Aberdeen EE. full of sh**e...........especially Charlie Allan. Last night's edition carried the headline "Magoo" set to swoop for all of our strikers!!! Presumably because he attended our game against Airdrie on Tuesday night. This type of speculation really pi**es me off, considering we are currently in a battle for the title. We don't need these erseholes with their unsettling comments. :004:
  7. You could have given the ?20 to sports relief it would have more use than backing a losing team County are in the cup semis? how did they get there, a win over Berwick,Inverurie locos,Stirling and they have eventually come up against an SPL team and beaten them and even that win was more to do with the Hibs keeper being inept than County being great as both goals dribbled in.. You obviously don't know oor "Naelifts" too well...........Queen Victoria blinks when he opens his wallet...............that ?20 wager would have been handed over grudgingly from his large stash of ?1 notes :004:
  8. Naelifts, you're a Fa**y How can you back against your own team......................especially those Gyp**s from over the water
  9. "12 Points and you f**ked it up" has a nice ring to it....................
  10. Going to add my best wishes for tomorrow as well, I'm roughing it in the Canaries at present but will be tuned to Radio Scotland for game updates. It's a must win in my book if we're to maintain the pressure on Dungdee.
  11. Steak Pie/Guinness Combi................no ill effects Mannie, more likely to have choked on the "free" Kitkat from Naelifts!! Bit harsh on Bully US2, the lad played pretty well over the peice and could do nothing about the ball deflecting of his erse for the equaliser. Lack of self belief once again did for us against this pretty ordinary lot, they seem to continually carry all the luck and get every dodgy decision going.
  12. Paying for so many missed chances. Barrowman pulled one back for the Gy**s
  13. Everything's got smaller since you were a boy ya old codger :P :thumb01n:
  14. Johndo's looking a bit rough Richard................where the feck did he get those glasses??
  15. Malpas is spot on with these comments, admire the guy for stating what a lot of his fellow/ex professionals are probably thinking.
  16. Nice one Gordy, do you think he has the balls to address the question.............I doubt it !!
  17. Got an appointment for a new passport in the morning Red Card so might have some time on my hands for a small one before you get the train. Hoping to get down to Killie in time for kick off, not too concerned about missing the hovel for a drink. Tempted to overnight but don't fancy kipping with Johndo and sore arse !!
  18. Aberdeen EE reporting tonight Dennis being given a free transfer by St Midden. Would bring him back for the run in, done it all in a Caley shirt and still a lot to offer in my opinion.
  19. Caught the end of tonight's sport headlines on Grampian and it's reported that Celtic have agreed a deal with Middlesborough for Barry Robson. Does that mean we get another slice of his transfer fee or was it restricted to a move from the Arabs??
  20. B****r, I'll just have to pack the deerstalker away again Have stayed sober and was really looking forward to a slow drive up the A96 in the morning :002:
  21. Can only assume that the extra costs this week would have been additional premium time for the travelling EDINBURGH staff :D Still long waiting time for service pre-match and half time .
  22. I heard some pretty serious accusations being aimed at Dougie Imrie yesterday via song and abusive shouting. What would be interesting to know would be if these accusations can be substantiated or if it was fans who are pissed off at the likely hood Dougie will be leaving us come January. If anyone can PM me with the answers that would be great so that I can work out whether it is a section of our fans who are ar$eholes or whether Dougie is the ar$e. Off topic ! I hardly heard a thing all afternoon :D
  23. Think "remembering back to his performances for the Dons against US" should answer you're question you old codger !! Long time since I graced the "Dung Heap" sporting red
  24. Mid to late sixties every other week....................Presslie, Hogg, McInness, fecking solid..........and real wingers like Harry Smith and Freddy Neild........................ goal scorers supreme like Chic Allan and Davie Johnston............when Elgin and Nairn County were the real opposition and Gudgies and Jaggies were totally insignificant and given no serious consideration whatsoever. And we changed ends at half time !!!
  25. Oh dear, we seem to have huge Freudian problems with rugby as well as athletics! So maybe the key to the balance I was advocating on the Harriers thread is therefore to put the Rugby chip on one shoulder and the Athletics one on the other. It would appear that "Doogies Danglers" doesn't share your wide ranging taste or enthusium for sport in general Charles :021:
